T. M.VERY helpful staff the Lads know their product. I walked in fresh and told them what I like and what I was willing to spend and make great recommendations. Looked for what I can't buy in the US and they gave me an excellent recommendation that was spot on. Be care not to buy too much - my bag was over limit due to whiskey I bought but it was worth it.
T. O.I ordered an expensive whiskey online as a Christmas gift, but was sent the wrong bottle which arrived on 14th Dec. I rang the online orders dept. the following morning, worried that I might not have the correct whiskey delivered in time for Christmas, and I spoke to Monica who was extremely apologetic. Within 10 mins I had an email with details of the amended order which was shipped that same day and arrived the following day. Mistakes happen, but this one was dealt with very speedily and efficiently by a true professional at her job! Thank-you Monica!

Tried the 1960s Green Spot and very smokey and oak, but with thin body and taste firstly like water thanks to oxidation. Where in earth you could get such Irish whiskey?

Most recently, a friend expressed interest in trying out some Japanese whisky a couple of weeks before their birthday and I made a mental note. They were able to helpout and as always had excellent knowledge.

P. S.Decent experience, was given good advice when looking for a whiskey for a birthday. They do engravings for Middleton distillery whiskeys for 15€ extra, which is a nice gesture for special occasions. Great selection altogether, but of course a bit more on the pricier side than the regular liquor store.

B. B. R. W.Probably the best range of spirits I've seen in this country. Minatures available also, maybe up to 50 varieties. Should increase the range of scotch whiskeys. I asked for a smokey peaty whiskey and there was oly 3 quality ones to choose from. Luckily they had a lagavulin so I was satisfied but disappointed there were no Japanese whiskeys which is why I travelled up from the country.

I. C.Stopped in as I was surprised to discover the large number of Irish whiskies available. The only Irish whiskey I'd had a taste in America was Bushmills and Jameson and I didn't like them, but they were probably on the low end. The staff here introduced me to Connemara, a very peaty smooth drink which I find to be outragerously good. (Hard to find in the states. The cask strength, which I was able to find, is too much for me.) The real point is that the staff was generous with their time, and explained their products. Finding out what Scotches I liked, thery pointed me in the right direction . This final note: They have a nice selection of very small bottles...the kind that have just a jigger or two, so it's easy to try something out.
