C. C. B. (.I went to see The Little Women, and it was great! The rooms are well cleaned, and the snacks are nice too. The cleaning staff especially works very hard to clean up after any film. But the snacks are considerably expensive, and IMC isn't the best cinema I've been to, but overall, very good.
C. H.Only issue with experience was that it cost me 49euro for my wife and I to bring our two kids to see a kids movie. Wouldn't have minded paying full price for a movie if I had any interest in it.
Adults should realistically go free or at least half price when bringing kids in to see a movie.

D. C.Poor enough service at times. Last time I visited they had no popcorn not even the kind in a bag. The ticket prices are way to expensive for the service provided. Maybe cut the cost and more people might attend. I'd love to give full marks but I can't.
H. S.I simply like this cinema. Most of the towns size of Athlone don't have such a good cinema. Enough showrooms, bit varying in quality and size, helpful stuff, all usual snacks and drinks. Usually not too crowded and you don't have to wait too long to buy tickets/refreshments. Contactless or regular payment with debit/credit cards.

s. m.It's a well managed cinema offering all the latest films at a reasonable price the nachos are very flavorful and the popcorn is always fresh it has a good selection of pick and mix and a good variety of icecream the decor is a little dated and is probably due for a facelift but it is clean so I would recommend it

S. L. C.Unfortunately the cinema is on a downward turn, maybe it's due to streaming services etc. , not sure but I do know I have seen a massive change through the years. I have attended numerous times now to find poor pick a mix selection (most recently it was near empty) no nachos or cheese machine out of order and the screen room to be freezing. At times there has also been a strange smell in the rooms. I feel as patrons we deserve more for β¬30-40 . *** update.... 08/09/17 went to same imc cinema and little changed apart from a slightly better pick a mix selection.... ***
A. D.Well impressed with this venue and would have given the cinema five stars except for one thing. When we arrived we were served with a very nice young lad who obviously knew what he was doing but he had a girl with him who looked so bored we should have told her to go to bed.
J. C.Nice cinema, Good selection of movies. But not enough staff to man the sweet/ticket area. Twice I've been there, there has been a queue for popcorn and tickets...and only one cashier...doesn't make sense.
H. R.We were told the wrong screen to go to for our movie and only realised once the film in the screen we were sent too started playing so we missed half an hour of the film we were supposed to be seeing. Staff offered us free tickets. Have otherwise had good experiences at this cinema.

M. K.We do go most Wed evening's and find it a very clean and friendly cinema..what we really like is the entrance to each cinema it really adds to the experience..and we do come from Salthill..we also like the drive and I'm originally from Athlone...really recommend this cinema...
n. m.Place is decent enough but hate the system for buying tickets, only available either in advanced booking or at the concession tills, meaning even If you don't want to buy ridiculously over priced popcorn and drinks, you have to queue with everyone who does. This is particularly galling at busy times when you can be queuing for 10 minutes or more. Asked a staff member why they don't have even one till just for tickets and was told "its handier this way". Let me tell you it really, really isn't. Also screening times never allow for people who work late , latest screenings are usually too early for people who work evenings to attend , meaning I and many of my friends miss out on seeing a great many movies. For example, a 10pm screening or two a week wouldn't go amiss, especially for the big releases.
V.IMC Cinema is the only place in Athlone to watch movies with friends. You could watch movie premiere here. The IMC Cinema only able to show 2D films. Good place to watch movies after a week of release, there were only 4 people for the whole show.
S. K. M.Don't watch movie in screen 4 &5 , it's really small. Best is screen1 but need to pay 2 euro extra for it. Next best available screen is 2.

Γ.It's very annoying when there's a new employee who's atm a stickler for rules, making it impossible for me to get into Deadpool (16's movie). I'm 18. And the regular staff know that. Pity they werent there. Ik it's my genes at fault here but I just want to vent

M. S.Positively, nothing special, as sometimes the cinema can be really busy. I recommend buying tickets online to avoid disappointment. There were scenes with crying kids and dissatisfied parents because the tickets were sold out.
