W.Pleasant experience however the queue was packed in as tight as a fishes arse due to a lack of social distance being enforced, very rubbery and chewy popcorn and some spekky blonde lad with his lanky friend kept laughing at snapchat or something the whole time but it was an overall decent night out
I. A. /. R.good movie theater but they delay with the sale of tickets so you must arrive early with enough time ... and the air inside was too hot, uncomfortable I took off my sweater and it was still hot
N. N.My boyfriend and I went to the movies tonight and when we got there, (5 minutes earlier as recommended) there was already a really long queue before us. The counter was understaffed with only one person taking care of both tickets and food and drinks. We waited for about 17 minutes and when we got to our turn the guy at the counter spoke really quiet, didn't understand what was asked of him, moved really really slow and made us miss the start of the movie :/ Other than that, the place was clean and social distancing put in place. Just please do something about the issue

S. T.Wish the tickets were a tad bit cheaper for students, but nonetheless a day out to the cinema is still great. Staff are usually friendly, especially the guy that scans the tickets. Seats are comfortable in the cinema hall and it usually isn’t too warm in the cinema (but sometimes it does be too warm during the summer months). Overall, it’s still great to have a cinema in Sligo

O. C.Went to see Tenet on Sunday 6th September and I actually thought my eardrums were going to burst. The volume was ridiculous! Not the first time this has happened in Sligo. Other than that, staff were lovely, cinema clean and social distancing etc all perfect.
J.The movie was amazing! (I watched Break the Silence: The Movie on 13 sep.) The sound was just perfect, it wasn’t too loud. Definitely coming here again. Ty! :3

M. O. S.Clean tidy, great for family days, reduced tickets on the weekend for family films. Staff are part of the furniture been there for years says alot about the work environment. Food is expensive but it's a cinema and it's pure junk food at its best or worst depending on your perspective. I appreciate we're in an age where we download movies for convenience however the cinema experience is a very relevant social outing. I don't mind paying that bit more to have a day out with my family there it's cheap on the weekends for the kids club films may not be to an adults taste but it's worth it if you have children 5 or under.

Sweet/savoury pop corn, both loose and packed sweets, nacho and minerals/ bottled water and fruit juices available. There is also a party room for small birthday party's. Clean well maintained with nice staff.
D. W.The cinema looks great! Especially since they did it up! The food is good! The guys who check the tickets are always bang on! The girls dont really smile but they are still nice! Still worth 5 stars because we go at least once a week and we have never had any serious problems and staff always help!

P. W.Cinema located in the center of sligo town. Maxx theatre has extremely comfortable leather seats just be careful not to snooze in them 😂. Most screens have had a revamp and are great but some older ones hopefully have this treatment implemented soon to bring all up to the same standard.
Cinema shows all the newest releases and from time to time has old movies back on the big screen (lord of the rings, home alone for example). Concerts and special showings also feature which is great for variety.
Cost is on the expensive side for tickets and snacks but this is across all cinemas at the moment regrettably. They have introduced a pass for cheaper tickets and money off snacks so this is helpful.
The staff are amazing. Always chatty, helpful and delivering a great customer experience. Edel who has worked here for many years is one of the nicest people in any business in Sligo, this cinema is lucky to have her 😊

R. H.First time in omniplex Sligo for endgame, usually I'm quite impressed with omniplex standards. Starting with the good, staff were quick and friendly in assisting and the movie seats are very comfortable for long films and we'll spaced! Main entrance not well maintained very messy and looked understaffed also the first couple of minutes of the movie played before the lights in the cinema acty turned off. However still a positive experience in my books
A. T.Very modern facility. Pricing is fair. The big showroom has rocking leather seats with very generous leg space. Parking is possible directly across the street at the Wine Street parking lot (Tesco).
D. M.Love this cinema. Not too busy, not too quiet. But on my last visit there was this weird old man in the toilets after the movie. Smell was something else and no staff to be seen

D.Yeah your standard run of the mill small town cinema. But does have one big screen with Omni PlexMaxx this is worth a visit for the film buffs amongst us. Dolby Atmos sound (amazing) curved screen n leather seats. Best to book ahead online for this screen as better seating means less seating so just be aware for those block buster movies.. #starwars riseofskywalker.

Speak as someone that deal with the public sometimes the exaggeration take hold of them. I've looked and recognised 2 people that just love to complain about anything.

They need to figure something out with the kids running between movies. On the first night, it was annoying. Happened again on the second night, but not as much. They just kept coming in and out over and over.

R. S.The place has had a good renovation and some of the cinemas are big enough. Prices are dear compared to the cinema in Letterkenny. The large popcorn is the size of the medium popcorn in Letterkenny!

m. h.It's fine as a cinema but the prices for pop corn etc are ridiculously high. They also never show any remotely Arty films. They do do the live opera and theatre, for which I am eternally grateful.

E. P.Every time I go to the cinema I find it quite cold espically in Maxx...I thought this was just me however a few people have mentioned same to me. Went again the other night and it wasn't too bad...went to see mission impossible however it was awful as a guy arrived in with 2 kids aprox 6/7 years old half way through movie he decided to fall asleep and snores on the top of his lungs for rest of movie and then the kids got restless are were banging on seats and up and down constantly....not a staff member in site coming in to check things..i didn't turn and give out as I did not want to scare kids as I said they were very young.. awful experience...i really not sure about going back which is disappointing as I seen a few movies when I was in there that I would love to see...
M. c.Was disappointed when our movie Mary Poppins return stoped working half way through and then when a member of staff came in he was very rude unhelpful and he was being asked questions but was walking away as he was answered he should have come and said their is a power problem or whatever it was and you can get a refund or another movie as I had young lady da they did not want to wait and watch half of the movie again so we got out refund but to start it all off their should behave been a discount offered to when we went to buy tickets at the desk as we were told that their was no heating and it would be a little bit cold well I can tell you that it was freezing in there and my little girl was so cold leaving the cinema she was actually shaking with the cold.
T. W.The cinema seats are very comfortable however the newly upgraded "MAXX" screens seem to have an issue with fast pace scenes as it tends to go very blurry.
