N. G.I've had my ebonite M&E R&R for nearly a year now, and couldn't be happier with it. I thought the key springs were a bit heavy at first, but Michael advised me not to tinker... and I'm glad I didn't as they have eased (or my fingers are more muscular). The cork compressed somewhat too, but nothing a little Teflon tape couldn't fix until I see a flute repairperson. Great service and an excellent flute that has cured my hankering for wood.
