I. M.Basic hotel set in the middle of an entertainment block in the centre of Carlow. Good food available on the premises. Bit of a smell of disinfectant when entering the main corridor but otherwise clean and reasonably quiet but then it was a Tues night stay. Receptionist very pleasant and helpful as were the other staff. Would recommend if your expectations weren't 4 star.

d. c.Very pricey. Chicken curry only includes rice, chips are extra. It was our most expensive dinner on holidays. It was a week night and place was quiet. Staff didnt check in once with us. Most had grumpy faces and none came back to us even though we needed more drinks and desert. Ended up paying and leaving.
Food was ok. Lack of service sort of ruined it as we had 2 kids and 2 grand parents.

T. R.Had my hen weekend there Aug Bank Holiday. Cannot rate this hotel high enough. Our group was taken care of and received VIP treatment from the moment we arrived. Hotel was beautiful, staff were amazing nothing was too much for them, they went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, food was exceptional.. Can't remember the name of duty manager but he was brilliant.. Well done to all in the hotel. If I could give 10 * I would..

b.This has become our local since moving to Carlow. Food is always piping hot, plenty of choice. Staff very friendly. Great place to people watch, live music. Lots of hen parties and a great age mix. I'm mid 50s and never feel out of place
A.Great place - unique terrace (huge, on two floors, opened to the sky through a glass roof), nice self-service food with a variety of choices, big indoor bar next to the hotel.
The terrace is a great experience on a nice day!

E. N.Always worth a visit, generally you get a good mix of all age groups here. Nice decor and a bit different on layout. You can find a nice quiet corner if that's your thing. drink and food choices are also good. Upstairs you have the foundry night club and also the tower where live bands play but not always, check it out............

C. H.The Cajun Salmon Caesar salad was pretty good, the Guinness excellent, and you have a large choice of Irish, Scottish, and American whiskeys and scotches. The Terrace is beautiful, as is much of the interior of the restaurant as well. The Dinn Ri is a full complex with a nice night club, some shops, and a cool alley way style tunnel. You will have to flag down the bar staff, otherwise they will think that you're all good.
K. O.Good service, nice friendly staff, comfortable clean rooms, attached to a cafe and a bar, food good in both. There is also a nightclub on site which can be heard in the rooms, not as loud as I feared. Wi-Fi receotion can be very bad while the nightclub is on, otherwise it's good.

Large portions, friendly staff, reasonable prices and plenty of seating options. Also it's located in the center of town with plenty of parking (paid parking) outside. Grab a newspaper from the newspaper stand and enjoy a meal thats sure to fill you!

C. M.Bringing a new standard of service to Carlow, this super pub performs well to those who come for morning coffee, dinner or to reserve a table for a evening menu. Providing an intimate settings and family friendly settings where many have their Sunday lunch out here as well as their daily lunch. Coffee refills are free, but this is not advertised and their wi-fi is strong. Have not been there late when it becomes a nightclub venue, but it remains a popular designation for many a hen party.

Had my hen party on friday 27th September in the Dinn Ri.. there was 25 of us and we booked the ten rooms, we felt like it was our hotel for the night.. Noleen and the receptionist staff were on hand to welcome us on arrival. All the staff were very helpful and friendly especially Warren and also John who gave us our cocktail class..dinner was beautiful and Irene looked after us so well. We had a drinks reception in the barracks and then on to the foundry nightclub where we let our hair down. We finished up the night in the resident bar where once again Warren looked after us..I would highly recommend the Dinn Ri for parties or a fun get together.

B. K.I stopped here after punchestown racing on Saturday for some dinner.. even though it was late in the evening the dinner was lovely and the surroundings were cosy but with some life around the place. I would recommend it if ur close by to stop in.
