Great carvery, you won't leave Mulcahys hungry. Quality food whether it's wraps and pizza or full dining. Super pint of Guinness which is all important. Friendly staff so 5 stars. 👍

Good food, but chicken meals aren't they best things. Fair prices. Accommodation: Clean, small rooms with extremely uncomfortable single beds, just to small. No heating overnight. No emergency exits so in case of fire you can get roasted. Breakfast from list. Not an open buffet.

Come here for good food and drink with friendly service. One of the higher end restaurants in downtown Clonmel with a globally inspired menu with steak, fish, duck, pasta, and curry. Decent wine list and lots of beers on tap. The main seating area looked as though it has been updated or refurbished.

I called in for a cappachino on Sunday evening around 5_5_30the girl that served me couldn't have been nicer and was very helpful offering to carry my shopping bags to my table. Would definitely recommend mulcahys for a visit. This girl was very cheerful while going about her work and made it a very enjoyable cuppa

I love the food, I go here quite often for my Sunday roast you get a man size portion the roast beef is melt in your mouth, the breakfast is brilliant too, I couldn't recommend Mulcahys enough

Stayed here saturday and sunday night. really nice and very comfy bed..spotless white bed linen. but bathroom fans could be ungraded, very noisy..we were in room 56 but fan in bathroom opposite was very noisy. other than that everything else was great. liz mcgrath.

Love the food in Mulcahys the carvery is unreal. Breakfast Omelette so tasty and the evening menu is delish. Loved the vegetarian pizza option. In general there is a wide variety and as a vegetarian myself there is always an option.

We availed of the carvery lunch. It's decent value for what you get. What we particularly liked was the fact that, unlike other places' carvery, the vegetables weren't covered in butter, which meant the lactose allergic in the family could eat a normal meal.

Called in for lunch, 2 adults. 12.45 but no rush on for lunch. My sister got roast of the day but I choose baked potato which was unavailable so I went for toasted special with salad/chips. Food was lovely but my sister had hers eaten by the time I got mine, I was in a queue- that was disappointing. Staff a bit too relaxed. Bright,airy & spacious. Will call again.

This is a fabulous central location to stay. It’s extremely well run and is spotlessly clean. Fabulous bar and restaurant area. Food is excellent. Bedroom was immaculate and comfortable. There is no lift in this building. Access to the accommodation area is by using your electronic key card,and is a separate entrance located beside the bar/restaurant door on the Main Street.

I was going to be staying at a modern hotel in a city for 2 weeks so I wanted to start my trip from America in a small town hotel with a nice pub. Mulcahy's in Clonmel fit the bill wonderfully.||||I don't know how old the hotel or its neighbors are, but they were build in the past when architecture was more interesting. The entire neighborhood of stores and shops are updated and modernized, while keeping the charm from the past. The street that Mulcahy's is on is bustling with life and vigor. It was refreshing to see an active small town shopping district.||||The check in was friendly and easy. They took my bags up while I moved my car to the back lot. The room was comfortable and roomy.||||The star of Mulcahy's, and the reason that I picked it, is the pub. It is a beautiful, classic pub, run by friendly people. I spent most of my time here getting adjusted from the jet lag. They have a restaurant on the other side of the lobby but I ate my meals at the bar. It is too good to leave. I had aq nice burger for my first meal, and really nice fish and chips every other meal.||||Like all great Irish pubs, it is a neighborhood gathering place, families eating, friends drinking and laughing, and sports on a few TVs. It was the perfect place for me to start this Irish trip.||||Bulmer's cider is made in the town so I recommend enjoying it.

As always great food and I feel this restaurant needs to be complimented on its food and service as I have been to a few different places recently since covid and the service appalling and food not great but not mulcahys food is always delicious and simple things like a bit of salad on a plate always adds to a meal and it doesn’t cost the world but most restaurants have cut this and it really affects presentation so well done to this restaurant and staff really nice and experienced staff who know how to treat customers. Well done will be back again.

A heartwarming welcome on arrival, very friendly and helpful staff, rooms are at a high standard,food from breakfast, carvery and restaurant menu is exceptional, the property is clean on a very high scale, very reasonable room rates,an absolute Gem in the heart of Clonmel. ||Well done to Sharon and team.||Certainly a great candidate for the boutique hotel of the year. Will certainly come back and without hesitation I will recommend Mulcahys to all I know.||Thank you Mulcahys and looking forward to stay again when I'm in Clonmel.

I have visited Clonmel several times and in my opinion Mulcahy's is the best bar and restaurant in the area...nice and varied buffet, generous portions. Welcoming and smiling staff. Guaranteed atmosphere at the bar, especially on weekends you can sip good Irish beers

Our usual breakfast being closed we decided to try Mulcahy's.|Very disappointed with the vast majority of dishes we will not come back for breakfast at least.|Very fatty, the egg dishes very dry and bland.|From suddenly the score is way too high for what it is.
