S. O.Wonderful hotel! On the main street of Bundoran which gives you the opportunity to explore the town. The view from the front door is amazing. The room was quite spacious and very nicely decorated. Breakfast menu is a little limited due to the pandemic but it has the essentials on it. Breakfast was lovely and so was the dinner. The restaurant is a great place to go for a bite to eat. You can also go to the bar for bar food and drinks. The bar has lots of room and nice music playing. The food and drink in the bar were amazing too. The staff were more than helpful with any questions, Very nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that plans to go to Bundoran for a holiday!

T. S.Fantastic hotel. Second weekend trip our group of 6 have had at the Allingham over the past month and had great time on both. Large, spacious, clean rooms, breathtaking ocean views. Food was beautiful and staff so helpful throughout. Also impressed with hotel's covid policies, lots of space in bar/restaurant, plenty of staff for table service and numerous hand sanitisers throughout hotel which was important as my elderly relative felt safe and assured. Would strongly recommend this hotel and our group will definitely be returning.

E. L.Was very disappointed in the room , from looking at the pictures online of all the lovely rooms. Ours was very dated, it smelled , the toilet didn't properly flush and the shower was either scalding or freezing.

K. D.Stayed here for 4 nights, staff were lovley all round. Room was fine, basic but clean, the bathroom door was so creaky that it would wake you from your sleep in shock, schreeching accross the floor 😬. Breakfast has a limited menu due to the pandemic but as vegetarians it was very minimal and not substantial at all. Eggs, beans and 1 tomato with toast compared to the full Irish left us a bit disappointed. Food and drinks at the bar were great as was the service. The complimentary wifi didn't really work at all so we relied on our mobile data for our entire trip but overall We had a good experience here and would come back again.

C. D.Couldn't fault our whistle stop stay in Bundoran at the Aillingham Arms Hotel! We decided to book a Deluxe Seaview Room and what a great idea it was. The room was massive and had a large floor to ceiling window looking out at the sea. The weather was pretty changeable while we were in Bundoran so after a nice meal in the bar, we decided to head back to the room with a couple of drinks and watch the rain roll in.
Staff were lovely and friendly also. Check in was a breeze. Plenty of parking. Location is amazing.
If I had to complain about one thing, it would be the incredibly short shower curtain which did nothing to stop the floor from getting soaked. Needless to say, this isn't enough to stop us booking again and we hope to visit Bundoran again soon!
K. D.First and last visit . A 3star at best. Room was claustrophobic with one tiny window which looked out to a wall and was drab and old. On the plus side, food was really nice and the staff in the bar were friendly, courteous and efficient.

Sundae 8 euro for a bit of fudge cake and ice cream. Very poor. Overcharged for drinks but Kamil sorted very quickly.

The new addition of a beautiful designed out door dining area complement the existing Quay West Bar, add a sea breeze, rolling waves an uninterrupted view of the 'Wild Atlantic Way' - Donegal Bay is literally facing the hotel.
There is a large Car Park, Wheelchair access, also known as a Country Music venue with dancing at the weekend (not at the moment due to restrictions in place)

J. S.Overall hotel was good. Staff are very friendly, service is very good. Rooms are a little dated needs face-lift. Shower pressure was poor. Good atmosphere good bars and restaurant.

The only downfall was the actually room which was not of a 4 star standard which the hotel claimed they are. The room was small even for 2 people. I. b.I stay in a lot of hotels and while the place is clean along with friendly staff. I do wonder how it has a 4 star hotel rating. As this hotel is on the main road but entrance on main street it is down the side of the hotel with no signs indicating entrance or name of hotel.
The car park is located at rear of hotel and no entrance at rear of hotel so if it's raining you will get very wet before you find the entrance to the hotel.
I booked my dinner hours before arriving and was told there was only 2 times available which did not suit my plans so I took the 19:15 booking and worked around it, when I was sitting down to dinner the place was almost empty I counted 29 empty tables.
I am 35 years old but this hotel had a lot younger people looking like they just turned 18 years old in the bar also there was 2 groups of very young people just taking chairs wherever they found them and making big groups.
I understand very young people are also looking for somewhere to drink as well but normally this sort of drinking and behavior is not found in a 4 or 5 star hotel
N. T.For a weekend of fun and enjoyment it's all here. Top food, accommodation and entertainment at very reasonable prices. I don't think you will be disappointed. Try it and see

M. C. B.Lovely hotel. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Four of us stayed for one night. We had no advance booking and reception staff were very efficient and helpful. Location is excellent, right on the seafront and within walking distance of the main street. There is a large lobby which is nice for just chilling. Our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Facilities are very good and although the hotel is lively with music (country) in the bar, it was quiet upstairs. The breakfast was well cooked with a good choice of menu. Overall, good value, high standards and would definitely stay again.

Peter the owner was so helpful in accommodating people in the 2 Bars while still taking Covid Restrictions in to consideration. Rooms were lovely and overall good value for Money, music 3 nights over the weekend was popular by most guests Huge shout out to Peter, Jason and Sinead, Female owner could improve hugely on her Customer Service skills as she was not at all friendly and quite rude with paying guests. This hotel has turned into a fine place to stay.
Our room is vast with sitting area large flat screen TV choice of channels although not many. Bed is very comfortable and clean,bathroom with large walk in shower.
Only thing although while staff are helpful and nice would benefit from time and motion studies too make better use of their time never seem to look around them.

As someone that travels a lot and stay in mostly 4/5 star hotels, this should be a minimum of 4 stars. The Allingham Arms hotel is fantastic and very good value.

Breakfast t'is morning was very good as well. Lovely views from the Dining room over Donegal bay, right over to Slieve League and Killybegs. Will be back.

O. K.Hotel was nice, rooms were modern and clean. Good location. Very noisy though at night time when there is music on till late, its annoying when you are there for a quiet weekend away. Also, the hotel should be able to afford real orange juice and not have it substituted with mí wadi orange. Only a smáll thing that but people like to have nice orange juice for breakfast and I think a four star hotel should have this basic need, even a one star hotel would. Hotel needs a side entrance, annoying to have to bring luggage around the back, tís a long walk around to main door

Derek Ryan was to sing from 10pm the place was jammed packed. There was big que waiting to buy tickets for Derek Ryan show. Although a good atmosphere it was difficult to find seating. Derek Ryan did not start entertaining until midnight. However a good night was had.

H.Nice hotel, they have regular country nights with great bands, function room where the bands are is a bit of a disaster, dance floor is OK to dance on seating to one side of the floor that you have or walk the whole way around to go to the toilets or bar, because of the lack of seating on a busy night everyone stands inside the doorway making it impossible on a busy night to enter or leave getting to the bar being impossible because of where the crowd stand, coming off and onto the dance floor is also impossible as everyone stands along the sides between the bar and the floor due to lack of seating and to many people in the room, air conditioning depending on where u stand, I have frequented these premises alot over the period of a few years and it has been the same experience every night, they open a seating area down the back which is so far away from the dance floor, all in all a lovely hotel with a disappointing country night out

K. B.I attended an event in this hotel, we had a wonderful night. There was a cloakroom. This closed and you had to get your jacket from reception. Unfortunately the job was given to a man called Micheal who did not have the capacity to do the job. It was -4 outside and he wanted me to ring the hotel tomorrow for them to post my jacket!! He had care of 4 jackets only one of which was white. This incompetent little man cost me an hour on the coldest night of the year!! The bouncer who eventually got my jacket for me said ah sur god love him his is not the brightest!!! its madness to give jobs to people who cant do them!

D. M.An amazing venue, great for all ages. Do music at weekends that would please most people. Great food. Good variety of drinks both no alcoholic and alcoholic. Great access for disabled and person with pushchairs. They also have a number of separate halls for hire. They also have hotel accommodation which not stayed so unable to comment on, but would say if they are decorated, stylish and clean like rest of establishment you would not go wrong. The staff are friendly approachable and professional. This includes management.
If your in Bundoran I would suggest visiting at least once.

Ballymoney Old Vehicle Club spent the weekend 18th Sept 2015 - 20th Sept 2015 everyone who attended enjoyed their stay with good food and friendly staff. A big thank you to the Chef's who prepared great food that everyone enjoyed. Thanks to the waiters and bar staff who were all very efficient. We would highly recommend this hotel for a weekend break or a mid week break as it is excellent in every way.
