Lovely hotel, staff are friendly. Me and my friend stayed here for her birthday weekend, there is noise, but what do you expect its right next to all the popular bars! We didn't mind it as it was a short stay (2 nights). The breakfast was okay, but there's a pub down the road which do amazing breakfast! Also the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Me and friend stayed here for one night, to go on a night out for our masters graduation, so we chose it because it was central and cheap.
Staff were friendly, and location is great, bit of noise from the bars around but that has to be expected.
Our room was small and in need of being renovated, chair had one broken leg in our room and the sink was blocked on arrival. Basic room.
Beds were clean which is a must, but definitely needs renovating and maintenance !

Very decent hotel for sure. Nice ambiance when you enter.
Was a bit worried when i saw that the bar/restaurant that is attached, had live music, as I thought this would be noisy. But no, no issue at all.
The room was very comfortable and clean.
There was no minibar but facility for tea and coffee was provided included in room price.
Bathroom had a full size bath which I love.
Plug sockets placed where you need them is a big plus for me and there was no issue here.
Check in and out was straight forward.
Only negative, like a lot of hotels, Wifi was a bit patchy. Otherwise 5 stars.
Would definitely stay there again.

Pros:
The bathroom was a lot larger than expected and the bed was very comfortable.
Although there were warnings that it could be noisy (it's located in Temple Bar, after all) I had no trouble sleeping all the way through until morning.
The free welcome drink at the bar until 6pm was a very pleasant surprise - I have been in far higher classed hotels that did not offer this.
Cons:
The bathroom facilities could do with some renovations, they were slightly old/damaged. They were, however, fully operational so it had no effect on my stay/comfort.
The hallway to the rooms could be better lit, it was rather dark with no windows.
The price for a pint of cider appeared outrageous, but that seems to be a general thing in Temple Bar so I guess I can't fault the hotel too much for this.

Location is great but that's about it. Rooms are dated, we stayed in what was supposed to be a twin room which actually had a normal double size bed and a small, quite uncomfortable small single. Really noisy as there is a night club on the ground floor open until 3am. Breakfast was ok. Good hotel if location is all you want. Quite expensive for what you get.

I stayed here mid-week earlier this month. it was elderly my father's birthday. from the time we checked in to the moment we left, everything was first class. The welcome we received from reception from Kris was really warm and heartfelt and completely set the tone for our stay- He even dropped in later when we ate in the restaurant to wish my father a happy birthday- a beautiful gesture from an exceptional gentleman.
We had not intended to eat in the restaurant, but given the rainfall outside we decided to. I'm not a big fan of hotel restaurants, but this was a revelation. i had the steak(rib eye;less than 20 euro and my dad had the liver and onions(early bird- it was stunning) and the service was the same- our waiter (I can't remember his name, but he was originally from Burma, was incredibly helpful and kind and couldn't do enough for us.
The room was large, clean and (probably because it was mid-week) quiet.
An exceptional stay. 10/10

we recently stayed in blooms for a week away. it was our first time in dublin so we wanted to be central. we didn't know any of temple bar's reputation, and the scary tales we heard upon arriving thankfully never came into fruition. we never had any problem with noise or drunk people, we never struggled to get out or in to the hotel, and never struggled to sleep at night.
the hotel itself is gorgeous, the lobby is beautiful, the rooms are modern and clean and spacious... the breakfast is great.. .the only thing i can fault this hotel on is the staff. they aren't rude or bad mannered, they just seem a little sulky. it's the only way we can describe them. none of them really smile or are outwardly friendly. it wasn't a problem, but if i had to think of a negative it would be that. they didn't exactly make you feel welcome. but that's honestly it, everything else was amazing.

Location is great for temple bar area of Dublin and wasn't too loud at bedtime on a weeknight. Room was nice and clean and bathroom was a good size. Bed seemed uncomfortable at first but actually turned out to be rather nice. Service at the front desk was great and the attached bar is a nice perk!
J. Y.
Easy walking distance of many must see sights, lots of bar and restaurants including a good bar downstairs. I was on the top floor with two front/street facing windows. It is very close to a nightclub and while it can be noisy, I was surprised that it wasn't as noisy on the top floor as I would have expected. Good sized room, lots of outlets, bathroom was good. Walking distance to lots of must-see sights. Definitely would book here again.

Extremely friendly and helpful hotel staff. Allowed us to check in hours early for free and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are clean, beds comfy and plenty of hot water for shower or bath. Tea and coffee in the room along with a hair dryer. This is a spot on inexpensive hotel and I'll be returning very soon. Oh, and it's right in the middle of the famous Temple Bar area for the best pubs and trad Irish music. So, yeah, perfect!.
s.
Great location. Rooms are clean, tidy and exactly what you need. Absolutely loved the bar below, lovely environment and music. Thank you for the free drink voucher. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the housekeeping staff - always received a hello or good morning, very welcoming. Breakfast was good but a bit more involvement/service from the staff would have been helpful as we felt slightly lost and confused. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others, and have already done so.

Great location, nice clean room however, very dated and had old mattress/pillows. You get a free welcome drink which was needed on our last day due to broken sleep throughout our stay due to single glazed windows! If you are looking to explore but want a decent night's sleep maybe avoid.
One bonus to this place aside from the location - in Temple bar, 10 seconds walk from the airport bus stop... Is it is attached to the VAT house bar which is great. Live music and deliciously homemade curries.
We enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn't stay here again as we missed out sleep!!
T. H.
It has a great location! There is no A/C, room was clean but dated. It is in a busy area so I needed ear plugs to drown out the street noise (people not cars). Staff was friendly and helpful. To do it again I would take the continental breakfast for free, and not the full Irish breakfast for €10. There is to many food options to settle for ok.
M. B.
We enjoyed our stay here. We paid for the breakfast option and the food choices were great. Visiting from the USA, we wish would have known there was no A/C. We were warm at night. You can open the windows but it's very noisy at night. The room was clean and very spacious.
M. M.
The room was old but spacious and clean.
Large bathroom with bath.
I liked that the curtains blocked the light from outside well.
Few faults such as bathroom lights flickered for over one minute each time I turned it on before it’s stayed on.
No bar fridge and no laundry service at hotel.
The first night there was another room who made a lot of noise all night and woke me up repeatedly- not sure why they didn’t go out with all the pubs and clubs?
For the price it was good. Laundry would be an issue for a longer stay.
C. L.
Coming from a previous hotel receptionist from Galway, the location was fantastic, just round the corner from temple bar and lots of shops. Room was of a 4 star standard with Savage bed and very spacious. The staff at the reception were super and had me in my room in seconds! Over all the hotel should have 4 star rating but it's a steal for the price loved it !
T. I.
Perfectly situated in the middle of Temple bar, Blooms Hotel offered the convenience of close entertainment while still being relatively peaceful. It wasn't dead quiet but that was to be expected. Rooms were generous in size, and for the most part well kept. Staff were all incredibly friendly and the offer of a free drink on arrival was greatly appreciated. The €50 deposit required upon arrival was unexpected though.
B. G.
Staff helpful but unfriendly
Room wasn't very well cleaned. We found some hair in the bathroom which weren't from us and some old dried bloodstains on the sheets.
A couple of times some gray water came back the drain in the bathtub.
And it doesn't really matter if the windows are closed or open, the noise is the same.
But overall the Hotel is recommendable for everybody who is looking for an average hotel in a very good location.
M. S.
The hotel is nice, rooms are ok. They offer full irish breakfast for a really good price. They have have a pub "vat house, live music every night, it is really nice. I would not book a room there again, Blooms is in Temple Bar, so there is a lot of party going on, we already knew this, so when we booked we asked for a room far from the front, but we got street front room. It was hard to sleep, we couldn't close the window cause there was no AC, and it was hot! Maybe sealing the windows and installing AC it's the solution to the noise. Location is great!! So if you wanna party and don't mind the noise at night and after midnight this is your place.
m. v.
Lovely hotel. Central location. Clean and tidy rooms. We had a 4 person room which had the added bonus of a balcony with seating which was a nice touch. Staff are freindly and helpful. Reasonably prices a d would definutly stay here again.
C. B.
The hotel was ok. The staff was pleasant and kind. The wifi did not work in our room. There is no A/C or Fans. It is very close to Temple Bar, so it can get very loud at night. The bed were so-so comfortable. If your young it perfect location to all the bars. However I wouldn't recommend this hotel to individuals wanting a nice quiet sleep.
P.
Great hotel, with friendly and efficient staff, stayed here for my birthday and found the rates to be extremely good value. The rooms were clean and restocked with biscuits every morning! (nice touch guys). Also the extra deep bath is a must for a relaxing bubblebath (and lush is just around the corner). Will definitely choose this hotel next time we come to Dublin!
B. H.
Beautiful hotel in Temple Bar. Clean rooms and comfortable beds with a staff that is friendly and helpful. Hotel sits on top of a wonderful pub called the Vat Brewhouse. Great atmosphere and good food inside. Hotel also sits on top of Club M, a dance club that's open on Friday and Saturday nights only. The Temple Bar area can get a little loud at night and when Club M is open, it is rather loud in the rooms. This is the only reason I'm not giving a full 5 stars. If the party scene isn't your thing, plan your stay between Sunday and Thursday nights when it is quieter.
D. R.
Although the staff and accommodations were great, and it was in a prime location, be aware that the noise from being in this area is loud and goes on all hours. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this area, but plan on using the ear plugs they offer at the front desk. And that doesn't really help much... I would recommend staying here if you're into the party scene.
R. D.
Great stay, excellent location for weekend in Dublin! Would definitely stay there again as within walking distance to temple bar area and staff very friendly and helpful! Rooms comfy and clean.
P. E.
Nice hotel. Right in the middle of all the action. On the first night we accidentally got one double bed rather than two twins and the front office remedied it early next morning. The only issue was we specifically asked for a cab to the airport that takes credit cards and ours did not. Being our last day in Ireland we didn't have any Euros left and so had to hand over a $100 bill for a €42 ride.
A. C.
Blooms hotel was very convenient in location being right in the middle of Temple Bar. But at night time it was very noisy as the window didn't provide much soundproofing. But overall enjoyed our stay so no major complaints. If you're looking for a well priced hotel in a great location then this would be a perfect choice, just make sure you're part of the noise rather than listening to it 😁
G. F.
Central location. Don't stay if you want a quite night as the streets are noisy. A night out in Dublin and a few hours kip and it's a perfect location. Food in bar is nice and reasonably priced. Night club connected and free for residents but may be noisy for low bedrooms.
A. (.
Great location in the Temple Bar district if that's what you are looking for. Staff is friendly and courteous. Room was dingy and dirty. Bed had a huge bow in the middle of it making it very uncomfortable to sleep. Just be advised when you stay here you will probably hear quite a few people out and about late night having a good time drinking.
M. S.
Great hotel for a short stay in Dublin. Our room was large enough for three people, and the location was centric- almost all landmarks were within walking distance. It does get a bit noisy at night, which is not unexpected since it is located in Temple Bar.
C. J.
Adequate. Comfortable room. Central location. Some staff very "sulky" others very friendly. Breakfast was adequate but for the price we chose to go to the Mill Bar nearby. Same price for cooked-€10, but we know it's freshly cooked, not sat hours under lamps, and served to us, not buffet, and with a smile! Downside of course is if you want continental I couldn't find it nearby. €7 for what was on offer for continental was a lot but ...adequate.
Great place to stay 2/3 nights for sightseeing. Would go elsewhere for longer/romance/Anniversary etc.
Did not find it noisy on second floor.
Reception staff very patient with overtired travellers (thankyou).
To get 4/5 stars I would have liked -
Staff available at breakfast
Better manners from the one staff I found in restaurant
Better selection/quality of breakfast
More than 4 milks between 2 for room drinks = only one drink each (as it is customary to use 2 milks per drink). We were given a jug of milk when asked for more but that was sour by morning.
Better wifi connection (showed connected but did not enable me to access apps)
More comfy beds - they weren't bad for 3 nights would not stay a week.
Space for clothing does not encourage a longer stay.
BEWARE the taxi firm they use - cost under €25 from airport to Blooms but €33 returning to airport! Almost €10 difference. Extortionate.
Curiosity-- notice in bathroom to save laundry and reuse towels if possible, not expecting renewal daily. To not place on floor but hang on rail if not wanting renewal.
Each day we left our towels hung on rail and each day all towels (even unused) were replaced. ??? Point of request?
Overall a nice breakaway for a sightseeing trip.

The hotel was great. Staff were helpful and available. The only thing was that there was no wifi available in the rooms, only in the hotel lobby and the restaurant/bar. That aspect was rather inconvenient as there was nowhere quiet to communicate with anyone. Other than that it was a fantastic experience. Great food, great bar, great stay.
D.
Needless to say- the building is stunning. The location is amazing, I didn't need to take the public transportation once to reach popular destinations, even if I did- there are plenty of buss stops around. The staff were friendly and very helpful when asked for help around the city or to keep your luggage prior to your check in. The room was okay (my only complaint was that our window didn't close completely which was a bit troublesome as I was there when hurricane Ophelia was passing. The wifi was also fast.
E. H.
The location of this Hotel is great. The room was also very nice and the shower was the best I've had in Ireland. However, It is extremely noisy with people walking, driving, and doing business nearby.
L. A.
Nice hotel, great location in the city centre, but you can't get any sleep due to the club on the side of the hotel. I wouldn't recommend it for families. Brilliant if you want to visit Dublin and party hard.
S. C.
Decent hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious for a downtown hotel and the location was excellent for accessibility. The front desk staff were not spectacular, and if you care about noise late at night, consider a different location. Overall, a decent stay.
A. S.
Beds are old and mattresses are sunken from long use. Bathrooms and room are clean. Can hear the noise from the street easily. Elevator makes taking bags up easy. You get a free drink in the bar on check in. WiFi is only good in lobby and bar, it is extremely shoddy in your room.
K. M.
Affordable, good sized rooms with comfortable bedding and a lively restaurant. The resident night club is very loud and can be disruptive but apart from that great spot.
M. S.
It's ok we only had to stay 2 nights here but the website pics look a lot better than in person. The great thing is that s it's in the middle of everything and you have a 2 min walk to all the pubs and river and shopping. Great location. The pub downstairs" the vat house" is great!!! Bartenders are awesome and super helpful.
K. D.
Perfect location in the centre of temple bar.
Great bar located on the ground floor, with fantastic live music and dancing in the evenings.
The rooms were very clean and the service was next to none, with a friendly environment.
I'd recommend the hotel to everyone and possibly stay there again.
R. G.
Excellent location. Rooms basic but clean. Noisy but you are right in the throng of Dublin centre, so expect the noise. Vat house bar at hotel is fantastic, great live music and wonderful atmosphere. Second visit and will keep on coming here.
S. E. J.
The great thing about Blooms is the location. The hotel is situated smack in the heart of the inner city with less than a minutes walk to the Temple Bar area, Trinity College, O'Neill's, The Irish Whiskey Museum and a lot of other cool places.
The prices are affordable and you can find seriously good offers if you are lucky so why not a 4 or 5 star rating you say?
The hotel is a wee bit run down and in dire need of some maintenance and love.
Our first room, yes we had to switch, had a broken radiator and a faulty shower faucet. The reception lady insisted they did not have any available rooms until the next day so we insisted that the maintenance guy at least looked at the radiator so we didn't have to sleep with our clothes on another night.
Enter the hero of this story. The maintenance man spent two seconds identifying the problem with the radiator and was about fix it when he took a look at the faucet. He immediately scapped it and said he would fix a new room for us because he had to order a new one since they were out of spares.
5 minutes later we were in a much larger and much warmer room. The new room had a functioning faucet that was able to send the water to the shower head but again there was a problem with both the water pressure and the stability of the water temperature.
Taking a shower at Blooms feels like being drooled on by a St. Bernard who just got a bone and the unstable temperatures makes you experience all four seasons during a 5 minute shower.
The walls are a bit thin and you will definately wake up when your neighbour starts belting out 7 drunken nights at 3 am but thats just a part of the experience I guess.
But you get what you pay for so no need to be too surprised or angry.
C. B.
I have adored the artwork on this building for years so my boyfriend surprised me by booking us in during a trip to Dublin. The building is as beautiful a ever, the rooms are a small but everything you need. I will say that you do pay for location above anything else. We were staying on the third floor and I am glad of it as any lower and the sound of the club would have kept us up. I am, fortunately, a heavy sleeper as it really is quite loud from about 11pm to 2am. Additionally at around 5am someone was screaming and shouting in the hallway which was not appreciated.
R. I.
Great location great price. Exactly what you want from a hotel in a city! Only criticism is the bar staff at Vat house aren't in a hurry! But if your not in a rush it's fine never was busy. :) would deffitnaly go again! :) cya soon
N.
Not bad, great area for seeing the more touristy areas. Hotel itself is average. Rooms are ok. Bit noisy but I wear earplugs to sleep.
R. G.
We stayed for two nights. The bed had springs out of place, the bed was uneven. Also the room smelled of smoke, probably OK with most people since Europeans smoke like chimneys. Also they do have flat screen TV, though its a laughable size, all my computers monitors in my office are larger. Poor value. Noise does not bother me, I can sleep through anything, I did notice the place was extremely loud at even 4am on a sat night. The Blooms is a poor value. Not a dump by any means just a poor value.
Their WiFi was the worst of all the places we stayed at in Ireland. Poor signal strength and runs at the speed of a drunk tortoise .
D. M.
Great hotel in the heart of Dublin! The upbeat feel and the art outside on the walls is great. Check for construction as it gets a little loud, but this is the place to stay.
J. H.
The location can't be beat. Right in the middle of the night life. Stayed 2 nights. The first night got loud in the hall at around 4 am. I didn't mind because that's why I was there. If you want quiet, stay further out of town.
p. k.
I actually should have done this months ago. My kids stayed at Blooms hotel during the summer and my son left his wallet behind him. He wasn't sure where he lost it so assumed it was gone. Shortly after returning to New York we got a call from the hotel saying that they found the wallet and we made arrangements to have it picked up. I was so delighted because along with cash he had some ID in the wallet and it was great to get it back. I feel like this speaks volumes about the hotel and the staff and we will definitely be staying there again. Thank you to all at Blooms for your honesty..
a. b.
Rooms are small but are all you need. We were on the 5th floor and could still hear the club late into the night but it's part of the experience. Location is AMAZING! Would definitely book here again.
M. M.
The location of the Blooms hotel boosts its value - it is right in the heart of Temple Bar so is surrounded by the sights and sounds that make this area famous. Many tourists, though, who can contribute towards a disturbed sleep as the hotel's soundproofing is non-existent.
The facilities of the hotel are basic, though. It feels a little like a hostel than a hotel. So treat it as a base more than as a place to hang out for long periods.
B. L.
This place is ok.... and only ok.
The good: The staff was nice, the location is centralized, check in was easy, shower worked.
The bad: TV cable connection to the wall was broken and took some fiddling to get it to work, ther remote for the TV was a generic universal that didn't work properly, there was a ton of noise outside all night...ALL NIGHT... literally until around 6 am. At 8:30 am the fire alarm went off for 20 seconds and then stopped. Then the outside noise started up again. Sounds like construction outsidebut window.
K. W.
Very good hotel to stay!!! Spotless and location is brilliant if you want to be near temple bar etc ... Staff very kind also and very comfortable. Only thing is you can hear night club but didn't bother me too much. Defos coming back to this hotel next time I'm back at Dublin!!! :)
P. B.
Very central location, good value for money (midweek rate, may be more expensive on weekend). Staff very friendly and helpful, an issue with our room was quickly resolved without fuss. Would definitely stay again...
C. L.
Comfy hotel with top location in temple bar with good breakfast quality. Unfortunately the Placebo ist a bit worn out and not reworked for maybe 5-10 years. So they got only 4 Stars from me. Rooms for four cost 100€ less per night than direct on temple bar Main street (in our case 310€ room rate per night instead of 400€). All in all everything was ok and i will maybe come back.
M. S.
amazing location right in Temple Bar. We walked to all the central locations in Dublin.
room was nice and clean which is always a plus.
they have a guard posted at night, and you need to show your room key to enter.
S. S.
Being situated in Temple Bar, Blooms Hotel is well positioned for those looking to go out around Temple Bar. The bar (Vat House) serves great food and has a good selection of drinks. The rooms are basic but good.
The reason for 3/5 stars is:
a) The noise blaring out from the nightclub until 3am and with poor noise insulation to the rooms above, it was difficult to sleep with all the noise.
b) The fire alarm was triggered at 04:50 with no attempt at apologising upon check-out the same day.
K. O.
Was initially given a room that wasn't cleaned, beds still tossed. Then once pointed out, given another room. Digbox of a room for the cost. Hadn't time to sort. Going to Bon Jovi. Turns out another couple had the same experience as us at the same time, they were next to us at reception. Barman was not interested in taking an order. Got woken by the construction going on next door. Feckin Jack hammers. Only saving grace was that the breakfast was very good. Seem to have a severe lack of staff. And some of the staff do nit have the interest in the job. Convenient location, but not worth the money paid. Would suggest finding alternative accommodation if available even if it costs a few more buck's.
R. R.
Located in Temple Bar the hotel is ideal for a short break as we had intended to go to Dublin for a hen weekend. It has free acess to Club M with your room key and the breakfast, which is optional, is a selecrion of hot or cold food. The hotel has wifi and a bar area with live music. Perfect for what we where there for though i wouldn't recomend for families as the noise from the outside is quite loud (which is expected being located on Temple bar). We realy enjoyed our stay here and would book again.
S. 7.
Great location, good value, nice enough rooms. However, very very loud at all hours. Surprisingly, the seagulls are louder than both the partiers or the traffic, all of which are abundant. Free drink and very early check-in were nice surprises.
J. R.
Great location, but very very noisy. If you are sensitive to noise and like going to be early then probably not advisable to stay here. We were comfortable enough, and the room had a good heating system.
C. H.
Good standard hotel. 5 minute walk to The Temple bar pub and right in the heart of the bars and shops. Wasn't too loud on a night either so we were able to sleep. Would recommend.
N. V.
Nice hotel but our room was over the top of their night club which kept us up all night. Great location otherwise, right in temple bar and easy to access shops and restaurants!
H. E.
Great location and the room was clean but the towels had stains. Door to the balcony didn't close properly and it was extremely noisy at night. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was okay.
P. N.
You would stay at this hotel for the live music, the bar and its location in Temple Bar with the proximity to so many Irish pubs, bars and restaurants. The hotel in itself unremarkable and the rooms adequate…just! There is a nightclub under the hotel, which did not seem to be well patronised or perhaps I went too early.
Breakfast, well it was filling! It reminded me of breakfasts in the seventies in the basements of cheap hotels in London which are now far from cheap.
Apart from a very close, staggering distance to the nearby pubs, is there any other reason so many people go to Dublin, it is a very easy walk to one of the many watering holes nearby. Did I mention the pubs? Temple Bar is a fun area, full of both tourists and locals who are I found very welcoming and friendly. I think I noticed even one who was putting up a good show of appearing sober. I was probably mistaken.
The evening I arrived U2 were playing the Joshua Tree concert for one night at the Croke Stadium. I had no idea but by sheer dent of luck, and finding a scalper with a reasonable ticket at an unreasonable price I managed to attend the concert, which was a knockout experience. The Irish seem to have an uncanny ability to remember more songs and all the words the more they drink.
Apart from its location in Temple Bar, this hotel is central to many of the things the average tourist in Dublin may want to see. Did I mention the pubs? These include Trinity College with the Book of Kells and its amazing library, Saint Stephen’s Green, the old traditional Irish pubs, many of which do not serve any meals, Churches, Cathedrals and some wonderful old buildings and museums.
At the end of the day, a bed is a bed but it is sure well located even if my liver may well disagree.
M. M.
I stayed here a few nights ago and while very central, right in the heart of the city as well as in Temple Bar I found the hotel and the room a bit dated. I didn't eat here so can't comment on that. If you can get a good rate and want to be very well located for visits to Trinity College, the GPO, O'Connell street and Grafton street then this is a very good option!
D. M.
Best location in Dublin, near all the pubs. The rooms are OK, nothing special but really tidy. There's no room service, so if you want breakfast, you have to go to the restaurant.
V. T.
The beds were uncomfortable. When we walked by 2 weeks later the dumpster was full of mattresses, so they could be better now. Other than that, it was an amazing hotel.
M. M.
Everything was as expected. Was warned about noisey music later but it didn't bother us both. Lovely bar and food. Polite staff and clean rooms. Would stay there again.
T. “. C. K.
We stayed here on the 21st December for one night.
Check in was a piece of cake and the staff were very efficient and friendly.
The check in area was directly opposite the bar through the doors (the Vathouse).
The prices reflect the position within Templebar, the other side of Dame street and up torwards Grafton street. It gets cheaper.
The drinks vouchers, (one each) were valid until 2300 hours, but you only had a choice of three drinks, Guinness, Baileys and a generic lager at this time.
Our room was 419 and it was quiet throughout the night.
Very clean all round, beds a little hard for me, but I have a dodgy lower back.
And using Expedia we got a good deal for the night.
Did not try the nightclub.
We would stay here again.
P. S.
I passed a weekend in the Bloomshotel from the 23th of August till the 26th. Well, may be the Blooms is not the Ritz, but nevertheless I enjoyed my stay very much. The room was okay, the location in the centre of Temple Bar is excellent and the hotel bar is a good place for the late evening.
But first of all, the staff was very friendly and obliging, I never saw an impatient face. Especially the charming young lady who ran the breakfast room is a person you will like to meet at the beginning of the day.
So I can recommend this place unconditionally.
B. M.
Great place to stay in Dublin. Central location and all landmarks and famous pubs are in walking distance. Rooms are big and clean. The staff are very friendly.
A. T.
Blooms Hotel is in the heart of Dublin. The room was big and comfortable and the rate was very reasonable . Discount car parking is very close by. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Ireland.
T. S.
Was just ok...not the best or worst. Not the cleanest or the most dirty. They had a lot dust where people normally wouldn't touch or look which is not great for people with allergies. I had two gross encounters in my room. They fixed one of the issues. It was seriously just ok ...bareable ...semi comfertable. Everything was dated. The lights goes of and on sometimes. It was nice that you get a drink at the bar.
K. S.
Lovely quirky hotel right in the heart of Temple Bar. Rooms well appointed. Staff polite and efficient. Bar adjacent. Good location near College Green and Trinity College. On major bus routes. Recommended

If your looking for the Party hotel, where your fellow travelers stager up from a night of partying while yelling and banging the doors. This place is for you! Bring your own pillows because what they offer is nothing more than a 1/2 inch flat pad. Oh...Don't forget your slippers, the floor is unvacumed and or not mopped ever. The sweet girl at the front desk..or (polish night clerk) is the gift and Joy of the intire establishment. Bar was great!
K. M.
Lovely hotel but reception staff could be more welcoming and friendly. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Little noisy from streets but slept well.
I. H.
Nice clean room. Great pub. Close to everything you want. Music everywhere. Smiles and friendly faces like nowhere else I have ever been.
V. I.
Rooms may seem a bit dirty, though they're just old. Right next to a nightclub (to which you get free entry) so expect loud music.
On arrival got a rather useless drink voucher (cannot be used after 6pm).
C.
Free Wi-Fi, great location around the corner from concert I was attending. Comfy beds. A bit noisy at times but it can be over looked based on the location. Complimentary free selected drink pass on arrival.
P. H.
We stayed last week and booked at the last moment and it was very expensive. Noise levels on weekends is too high..good point is in middle of city center but sleeping in weekend nights is nightmare.
T. S.
Perfectly located in the middle of Temple Bar. But still quiet enough to relax and sleep and the staff was very helpful. The hotel bar and restaurant had good food and excellent entertainment. We'll be back!
N. F.
The room was very small for the price, but clean. The club below the hotel had base pounding all the way up on the 3rd floor. We did have a weird instance with check-in. Our flight was delayed until the next morning from Milan, so we called long-distance ($15.99 on a payphone) to let them know that we won't make it in that night and to please check us in anyway. When we got there the next day, the front desk associate made some rude comment about how he had been calling us all day and almost gave our room up because we didn't check in last night. I was very put off by that.
G. J. T.
Can be noisey .in and outside hotel .We had fire alarm set off at 3 am we did make our way down to reception only to be told false alarm and hotel staff didn't seem that bothed. Ok if you just want a base
B. V.
Very beatiful, they gift you a glass of craft beer at the bar next to the hotel. Tiny rooms, but very comfortable. Nice views. Located at the center of Temple Bar
M. K.
Lovely hotel had to pay a 50 deposit on arrival. Reception staff lovely barman on duty very very helpful courtesy room spotless bed extremely comfortable.
G. G.
Very handy hotel in temple bar close to all nightlife and restaurant's..
If you can get pasr the rooms as they are a bit dated and the beds are very uncomfortable but the staff are great and it's ajoined to the vat house pub...
D. K.
Perfect location! Room was very comfortable, staff excellent. Overall great experience staying here. I'll stay here when I come back to visit Dublin.
J. R.
Service is ok, prices as well.
The bad things are the room, very warm and noisy, even more when you have to open the window.
Another bad thing is that they charge extra to leave your bags after checkout, first place I've visited that does that.
One good thing though is the pub in the same building, Vat House.
V. H.
Step out,go left, and you are in the center of Temple Bar
E. S.
Centrally located. Rooms are simple but have everything you need to make it confortable hair dryer , Kettle , hotTub.
Lots of selections for Pubs . Restaurants shops within 5 mins walk. Will go back there .
M. (.
Rooms were clean tidy and confortable. Noise was the only issue and I was warned about music downstairs. Food was delicious in bar.
s. b.
Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and very central to everything !! The Vat bar next door is a lively bar with traditional Irish music and we'll worth a visit
P. L.
In the center of the busy Temple Bar area of Dublin. Pubs, music, food, shops! Be prepared for noisy evenings! (Being earplugs!) Bar/restaurant has good food and entertainment. Walking distance from Trinity College and other sites.
V. C.
Location is great. Walking distance from all of the bars/restaurant/shops .No central air was a bummer. The window barely opened. Thankfully it was nice and cool outside.
G. M.
Rooms were clean and presentable. Bathroom was clean too. Great location. Cheap price. Just a good hotel and done the job.
n. e.
Right in the heart of Temple Bar sits Blooms. Very reasonably priced. Cannot beat location. Room was clean. Service great. Breakfast in the am was good. Location. Location.
R. H.
Clean rooms, 2 mins walk from temple area. Doesn't look very appealing from outside but nice inside with a bar.
S. F.
Friendly staff, perfect location without being too noisy, and a large room. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and well kept.
J. L.
Very cosy room I had a big issue with the noise at the back of the hotel due to building works I think we should have been told beforehand
N. B.
Having the bar attached to the hotel during St. Paddy's day was the best. The accommodations were good, and you're centrally located around some nice bars and restaurants.
K. H.
Great location. Easy walks to all of the attractions and to temple bar area. Room was spacious and clean.
L. M.
Very clean, spacious and friendly hotel to stay in, within jumping distance of temple bar, DO NOT HESITATE, get booked up and enjoy a superb stay! thanks again!!!
n.
Small room and bathroom need some maintenance. The shower pressure and change of water temperature while you having a shower was annoying
I. S.
Central location basic cheap hotel. Nothing to shout about does what it needs to do. Clean bed bathroom a little noisy but in the middle of Temple Bar area so needs to be expected.
J. R.
Wonderful hotel for a short stay. The area is very busy so noise is constantly there but it's within acceptable range.
A. G.
Excellent stay. Rooms very clean and huge. Friendly staff and a good pub/restaurant on site.
M. v.
Decent hotel located fiarly close to the city center. Rooms and lobby are somewhat outdated but reasonable for the price.
R. S.
Nice and cosy hotel with friendly staff.
Very near to the city center in the heart of temple bar.
The prices at our booking were absolutely cheep.
The only disadvantage I know is, that some rooms are louder than the others.
D. C.
Right in the heart of the entertainment zone you have a nightclub attached and a pub staff in hotel were really helpful by taking and storing our luggage until we checked in
A. T.
Nice hotel and location is ideal! Found the reception staff slightly stand offish when checking in an out didn't feel very welcome.
A. C.
Bed was comfortable, room was clean there was a problem with the TV but they fixed it , overall I'm happy.
Z. U.

m. g.
It's ok they don't tell you that there is building working on so we had been woken up from 7.30 in the morning not happy with that
T. H.
It's located down town. Access to all places and services. Reasonably priced. Clean interiors. Staff are very helpful and cordial.
T. L.
Great location, rooms comfortable, good bar food however drink expensive. I'd say again for the location.
J. J.

B. R.
Friendly staff and great breakfast. Expensive area but a quick walk to a lot of lovely pubs.
K. M.

T. W.
Comfortable place. Good food in Vat House below. Noisey at night on lower floors due to singing in the streets.
m. a.
ROOMS are well maintained and the staff are very polite and friendly. The only fault I had was the builders making lots of noise early on a morning

B. M.
Great location - great value for money- rooms need a bit of an update including new pillows and matteress
P. “. D.

(Translated) The hotel is reasonably priced. It was ok because it was not expensive and the location was too expensive. You can drink it at the vat house on the ground floor for a free craft beer voucher. I think it's just a beer. Guinness should not be free. The time limit is gone instead. It was not my favorite beer. The hotel ... was narrower than I thought, and the floor was a bit of a real stone, not a carpet. It's narrow and the heater is next to a radiator from the old school and you have to heat it up. If you search for other details, it will come out. The stream was a bit weak, so it was a problem. The worst thing that beats it all is noise. It's very noisy because it's under construction and the soundproof is weak in other rooms Plus, I'm partying nearby by the end of the week so I'm very noisy in the hotel guide booklet .; I wasn't lucky enough to avoid this time. Nevertheless, it was okay because of its location and location. Oh and the staff were friendly. Humorous. If you are a student without money, you should sleep well, stay away from the hotel for a long time, take a long shower, and if the location is your first priority, this is the place to be.

(Translated) The four of us stayed at the Blooms Hotel for four nights. So the location is very good. You can walk to pretty much everything in Dublin, and the bus station is just around the corner.
The rooms are, well ... "Irish standard". It was clean, but the furnishings are a bit dated and the rooms are very cramped. For a short city trip, however, totally sufficient.
The breakfast buffet is the same every day and not too big, but you get full (there are baked beans, eggs, sausages, cheese, sausage, cereal, juices, coffee, tea, toast).
If you are a light sleeper, you should perhaps take earplugs with you. The windows are not necessarily the best and you can hear one or two noises from the street outside, but as I said you are right in the center. And on the weekend the nightclub downstairs in the hotel is open and you can hear it.
The bar in the hotel was quite pleasant if you don't want to go far in the evening. The staff was nice. I wouldn't recommend it to whiskey connoisseurs (we were served the wrong whiskey).
There is NO parking space at the hotel. It wasn't a problem for us because we didn't have a car anyway and everything walked.
(Original)

(Translated) For a short stay to be recommended because very centrally located. However, it is very loud. Room 215 is not because any device in front of the window very noisy. Then we changed to 201 .... The room goes to the main side of the hotel this is noise all night ... The bar in the hotel and the food is great. When we were in the hotel for a week now, there were also major construction works ..... and the compressor was started early in the morning at 6 o'clock ..... Also came once a big crane with lift. The noise was unbearable.
Since such building measures were the hotel was overpriced and the price absolutely not worth it. Fam. Jacob

Fam. Jakob

(Translated) Four of us stayed here on Halloween weekend 2016. You shouldn't expect too much before furnishing the room, but to explore Dublin for a few days and "just" sleep here, it was okay.
The hotel was in a great location, especially for evening trips to the bar and trendy district of Temple Bar.
We hadn't booked breakfast in the hotel and always went to one of the surrounding restaurants.
I will book it again next time I visit Dublin.

(Translated) Great location the hotel is centrally located a stone's throw from Temple Bar nightlife street, on the ground floor there is a local Pub and a nightclub, the rooms are clean and spacious.
(Original)

(Translated) A very well located hotel if you like noise and fun. It is close to everything. The rooms are comfortable. But the best thing of all is the excellent Pub that they have below and is part of the hotel. Every night you can enjoy a very cold and tasty pint while listening to Irish music with a live show of stomping and violin is incredible what it feels to be there with all that atmosphere. The price for everything that is Dublin is accessible compared to other hotels and location. Recommended for a weekend.
(Original)

(Translated) Certainly okay by Irish standards.
The window cannot be closed completely and thanks to the lack of sealing you are woken up by the noise of a construction site at 7 a.m. Otherwise everything is fine. Two blankets and not one that was connected would certainly still be nice.
(Original)

(Translated) Well, here's a realistic assessment of the hotel.
The hotel is clean and was up to date in the 70s.
The staff is always friendly and everything is quite hygienic.
The breakfast is the last dirt ... you pay 10 € extra for a breakfast, which is hardly over boredom and which in the price performance ratio on a scale of 1-10 a -3 would receive.
(Honestly .... rather go out a few feet from the hotel and get you something better, even if you are still mega tight since) :-)
Summarized:
Nice staff ... good location .... clean rooms ... really bad breakfast .... a good drunkard .... Disco entrance inclusive.
He yells when Bock invites you to join us in jüst ens with Bonne and Tomi us.
(Original)
Zusammengefasst:
Nettes Personal...gute Lage....saubere Zimmer...richtig schlechtes Frühstück....ein gutes Säuferhotel....Discoeintritt Inclusive.
Et rickt wenne Bock häss dich ins jüst ens mit Bonne un Tomi us dem Lebe zusuufe.

(Translated) Stayed 2 nights from Friday to Sunday.
The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is very central, especially if you want to visit the numerous pubs ... The rooms were clean, and as expected.
The wifi in the hotel is unusable, the signal quality was actually bad everywhere ... Both nights you could hear a fire alarm, which woke you up. The adjoining disco (Club-M) was audible in our room all night (on the first floor).
For 2-3 days with colleagues the price-performance ratio is ok, for a romantic vacation with the wife I would recommend another hotel ...
(Original)

(Translated) Excellent location, nice hotel with a lot of personality, comfortable and functional rooms, good wifi. Right at the entrance there is a container that gives a bad image, to remove it would be the perfect hotel.
I was on the second floor during the week and I had no problem with the noise
(Original)

(Translated) Anglesea Street is too close to Temple Bar, so too noisy with a cacophony of singers and music arriving in poorly soundproofed rooms. The buffet '' continental breakfast '' is a poverty, for 7 euros I think we find better in the district. The doors of the rooms all have the hydraulic door closers, which makes them slam at any time. The advantage is that it is well centered in the heart of Dublin but good at what price in every sense of the word.
(Original)

(Translated) The hotel is in the best location in dublin, close to everything, and with a pretty recommendable bar on the ground floor. The room is fine, clean, and of size as it is usually for Europe, normal, the bathroom and the perfect hot water, the comfortable bed and in the room it was not cold.
The WiFi is not bad but it's no wonder 5 mbps download and 0.5 mbps upload

(Translated) As positive points the location, the rooms and the bathroom. It has a bar downstairs that is pretty cool. They give you a welcome beer.
Breakfast is also quite complete.
On the negative side, at check-out we left our bags until the flight departure and we had to pay 2 euros for each one. We found it quite ugly and seedy
(Original)

(Translated) Great location, right in the center of the city, the area of restaurants and the most famous bars. Hotel with good structure and with an excellent bar / restaurant on the ground floor. The only drawback is the noise at night, especially at the weekend. If the aim is to rest and have a good relaxed night, I advise you to look for another hotel.

(Translated) The location is great. However, a little louder in the evening because it is in the party corner. Breakfast was really little. Well for the price. The hotel scores with its location alone.

(Translated) The hotel is located in the heart of Temple Bar, in the hub of Dublin. Within a radius of 100m you can find Subway, Tesco and Starbucks, but above all some of the most renowned pubs in Dublin. The Blooms Hotel is located in the same building as the Vat House Pub, which often features live traditional music.

(Translated) Decent hotel room in the middle of Temple Bar. Nothing really great, but definitely above hostel level. Breakfast buffet simple but ok with jam, toast, rolls, muesli, yoghurt, a bit of canned fruit. Rooms and beds good. But if you are looking for peace and quiet, you are not necessarily right here in the middle of Temple Bar. When the last roaring night owls are somewhere in the corner around 5, the beer trucks come immediately and rumble to fill up the stocks. The rooms facing away from the alleys are a bit quieter.
(Original)
Ordentliches Hotelzimmer mitten in Temple Bar.

(Translated) We stayed four nights at this hotel and we were happy. The room was just an ordinary hotel room, clean and brown (Carpet), the bathroom was big and spacious. The staff at Respa were very nice and helpful. The downstairs pub was also a nice place. Breakfast (continental € 7 and Irish € 10) was just ok, should have had more fruit and vegetables.
Lots to see just a short walk away, buses leave just around the corner, Temple Bar area just around the corner.
This hotel faced price and quality, I recommend!

(Translated) A great location in the center of the Temple Bar, close to everything, with a short walk to all the surrounding sites, the hotel is inviting and pleasant with a nice lobby for a meeting, an Irish pub is located on the entrance floor with a live performance every evening, fun to sit and pass the time, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable, we requested a room in the quiet wing of the hotel We were on the fifth floor in the room facing the hotel's back and not to the noise of the street, and we were definitely quiet even though we were worried about the noise after reading the noise on the spot.
In the shower there was a very weak flow, a short check-out was a fifteen-minute line.
There is an excellent wifi in the entire hotel, the rooms have a safe, iron and ironing board. In conclusion, we were very happy and recommending.
