A hidden, old world gem of a pub with fantastic live acts planned for this year, fingers crossed given the pandemic...really enjoyed the Luke Kelly show last night, and for any wine lovers, the pinot grigio, on tap, was gorgeous!!!!!

Great place with such a diverse Crowd of patrons ranging from all ages and originating from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds. The pints are always delicious with a nice selection to choose from on Draught with an even larger selection of bottled items to choose from (from IPA's to ciders and wines). The staff are so welcoming and friendly, that they engage you in conversation and make your time there to be very pleasant. It is my favorite place to visit in Dundalk as there is always something going on in the Spirit Store, whether it is live music or comedy events. There is something on for everyone.

Lovely bar, nice spot for a Guineess and some traditional music. Bit of a shame that when we asked for assistance to call a taxi because we all had foreign numbers, the barmaid was quite difficult and was very resistant to call one to the bar despite having called taxis for other all evening. Would be a lot more welcoming for visitors if they were a bit more helpful.

Great selection of draft beers and a good range of bottled offerings. Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent upstairs venue for live music, with separate bar to avoid too much traipsing back and forth! Very enjoyable evening.

We were in the Spirit Store last night the main band cancelled as one of their members was sick. The supporting band played and they were brilliant! Staff are always lovely too. That band was from Drogheda four boys fantastic stage presence and music was outstanding.

Had dinner here this evening. To be fair, the service was good. The waitresses attentive and quick to the mark, however the food left a lot to be desired. The starters were un-inspired and felt churned out. Wings were good but still felt like something was lacking. Fishcakes tasted very bland... The main was one of the worst mains I had in quite some time. Haddock Burger....not sure if the burger was cooked incorrectly or if it was supposed to actually taste like it did, but if the latter, not sure why a chef would opt to have it in his/her menu. There was nothing appetising about it On a lighter note.... Guinness was incredible and the wine wasn't bad. + The atmosphere was chilled and quirky Overall - Ok Adiós amigo's!

Fantastic venue. Saw the Bionic rats here last weekend and they were amazing! Loads of room to dance and the bar is outside the main room which is handy. Love this place and the Bionic rats. 😁😍🤩

However the Proprietor intervened,and said, hello Russell and we exchanged pleasantries and I left, Happy in the knowledge, that the, Ole, pub of my youth,was still in good hands. Despite an unfortunate situation with a third-party entertainment provider, the venue's staff went above and beyond to ensure the bride and groom had the memorable day they deserved. When the planned Karaoke service fell through, the venue's team jumped into action without hesitation. Evan & Derek worked diligently to ensure that the bride and groom still got the Karaoke experience they had so eagerly anticipated for their special day. Thier resourcefulness, and dedication turned what could have been a significant disappointment into a joyful highlight of the evening. The venue itself was beautiful, the ambiance was perfect, and the service was top-notch. The staff's commitment to making the evening special, even in the face of unexpected challenges, truly set The Spirit Store apart. Great music venue. Old spirit store.. literally! Right on the sea wall in North County Louth. Quirky old pub within walking distance of Dundalk town centre. Very atmospheric, good sound, intimate.

Good function room upstairs with bar . You have to come back down the stairs to a smoking area which is nicely set up . Bar is a bit pokey , they seem to serve food here also but wasn't open in the evening.

Used to head here on a regular basis back in the early 2000s when I was in college in Dundalk. Saw some amazing gigs there over the years. Great pints great music and great staff and great memories. Hope to get back some day to catch a gig and a couple of pints of Maisel Weisse.

Great hidden place in Dundalk. Port front. At night it seems to be quite busy and they go out to enjoy their beers at the door since they are not in the center. Up the stairs is the place where live bands play.
