Really nice hotel/ bar in the centre of Trim,our visit just happened to coincide with the reopening of hospitality and the bar and restaurant were really busy,the staff couldn't have been nicer and the atmosphere was brilliant,the room was grand.....i've yet to come across jax rolls bigger than the ones supplied!!😂

Absolutely loved it. Staff were a little over worked, but very apologetic. Food was excellent quality, overall excellent value for money. Courtyard area is full of character and makes for a great outdoor dining experience.

We were in Brogans Trim for stay over. We were met by very friendly staff in the restaurant. Had a wonderful meal the girls couldn't do enough for us. Thanks girls. Went upstairs for the music afterwards had a great night. Room was 1st. class. Breakfast was excellent served by a lovely lady who was also doubling as receptionist. Thank you so much for your help. Went for dinner here with my family. If you are hungry then the Don Burger is for you. Service was a little disjointed that night. Usually it's very good. Anyway, if your passing though Trim or staying for awhile then give them a try.

Brogans is a hidden gem. It is very comfortable. The staff are wonderful friendly and very helpful. You have a gorgeous quiet bar with a welcoming fire. Then go into the dining room and sample some of the finest food I have ever eaten. After dinner we were thrilled to experience music from Don Baker and Rob Strong. What an amazing night that was. Then back to our Fablis room. The following morning what a great treat breakfast was. So all in all get to Brogans quickly. Its your loss if you don't. I will most definitely be back.

Nice place to stay in a tiny village, not very touristic. Room was nice and staff was very friendly. There is a bar and a restaurant in this guesthouse with the possibilty to sit & eat outside in the inner courtyard. Our room was located with the window facing to the inner courtyard. We were there on a friday evening and there was about two hours awesome (definitely one of the highlihts of our Ireland Trip) live music in the bar by The Don Baker & Rob Strong Band. No entry and price for drinks is fair. It almost felt like most of the people were locals. According to some other guests, one of the musicians is the owner of this place. Live music started around 10pm and they played for about 2 hours. Little disadvantage: At night it was quite loud because some people were sitting in the inner courtyard, talking and laughing. But since we were very tired, this was not a problem for us. Food was also delicious. We had some burgers during our trip, but the one from Brogans was the best. Service could be better (we were sitting in the inner courtyard), at first nobody came for serving outside. What I also did not like is that the table was not cleaned when we came there. There was still some cigarette ash on the table and it was a bit sticky. However, the service was perfect when we had breakfast in the restaurant the next morning. The waitress was very friendly and attentive and breakfast was also good.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Brogan's. The rooms were cozy and the water pressure in the shower was great. The hotel is part of the bar/restaurant and around the courtyard, so it was a bit noisy on the Friday night, but it didn't bother us. We got breakfast included with our room, it was delicious and very filling. Highly recommend the French toast or pancakes. The staff is very friendly and helpful, treat you like family. Great experience and would definitely stay there again.
