It was my mother's birthday so we came here for lunch. It was a super experience! Food great! And the 3 ladies working there couldn't do enough. ( sorry, didn't get their names ) Then they surprised us with a rendition of " Happy birthday " when delivering the dessert. Made for a perfect ending. Cannot fault anything. Recommend highly!
Really lovely hotel about 15 minutes drive from Sligo Town. When we were there found the staff really nice. One young bar lad was hilarious with his one liners and comments..
To himself mostly but a comedy act in itself to hear. Room was basic enough...but considering it wasn't a suite it had everything we needed. Nice and clean. Good Covid measures in place. Right beside Rosses Point beach...beautiful and at times breathtaking experience of the Atlantic ocean at its most peaceful and also at its fearcist.....we were there during some pretty strong wind conditions. Great hotel and location for exploring Ireland. Highly recommend it.
Hotel clean & comfortable ,food fab, very
pleasant & hard working staff .
WI-FI only available in reception area, would be beneficial for guests if WI-FI available throughout hotel .
Fantastic weekend for the careers weekend in the yeats Hotel food was fantastic rooms fantastic thanks to monaghan lyons club
Fantastic hotel for a family break or even a couples retreat, the staff are fantastic and couldnt do enough for you, sligo Town is 5 mins away by car, lovely place to abscond to for a quiet weekend break with a lovely beach 2 mins walk away.
We had a fabulous family holiday in beautiful Rosses Point!! Staff could not have been more friendly & it really is a stunning location. Food in the hotel & Austie's was good but our favourite meal was in the Driftwood! Lots to do in surrounding area for kids, we especially enjoyed pony trekking on beach with Island view stables & Eagles Flying was really fun also!
Very quaint hotel that has been refurbished. The restaurant and bar were good as was the buffet breakfast. It had open fires with soft armchairs to enjoy. It has quite large rooms at the front with an excellent view over Sligo bay and the Atlantic. It also has a spa which was good and a swimming pool.
Lovely rooms clean nice loads of space and wonderful saff
What a spectacular hotel! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome, smiles and they made a big deal about our little girl! Room was spacious, clean and warm. No matter which room you are in you have a view of the sea of golf course! Leisure centre was lovely, water was warm and everything was clean. We had dinner in the restaurant was one of the nicest dinners we had and kids menu was perfect. Breakfast was simple but tasty and plentiful, freshly cooked eggs was a treat! Everything was just perfect. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough! And Rosses point is one of the nicest places to visit. We will definitely be back again!
This Hotel was so comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are very courteous and helpful. Food beautiful and reasonably priced. I look forward to another break at this lovely hotel.
Lovely hotel break with my family. Great kids club, lovely food and big rooms. Bathrooms could do with an update but everything spotlessly clean. Beds super comfy. Maybe a few more options on the menu for coeliac 's on dinner and bar menu. Staff very friendly and helpful. For families I'd highly recommend. Great value for family stay for Halloween break.
This is a lovely place to stay and the staff are very friendly
I could find no fault with this fantastic hotel. There was a few families there when I stayed and they were able to accommodate them all. It is exceptionally clean. Very friendly staff. Food excellent. The spa was simply divine. It is in a lovely quiet location. Plenty of walks.
Food good. Rooms are nice and clean. Reception staff nice and efficient. Dining room staff are a bit under pressure particularly at breakfast. But the biggest let down is the cleanliness of the pool and locker area. It doesn't open until 8am weekdays and 9am Sundays so no chance of a swim before breakfast as breakfast finishes at 10am.
Very friendly staff, rooms are spacious and clean very comfortable. Breakfast was served buffet style self service and was beautiful with a huge variety from which to choose from. Food in the bar was delicious with quick service and the restaurant food equally as good. My ultimate draw to the Yeats Country Hotel was it's seaweed baths pure luxury highly recommend. They also provide Entertainment every night and are very child friendly so if you want a break from it all and fancy a bit of luxury and relaxation for a bargain price Its the place for you.
had a lovely time at the hotel, went for 3 days. found the staff very nice especially in the restaurant. food was lovely couldn't fault it. Had a 9yr old and a 14 yr old, kids club was great for the younger one but nothing for the older lad. Could really do with a games room for older kids, as seen a couple of teenagers looking bored. Would not take much to provide a section off in main kids club room where they could meet for game of pool etc.
We stayed 2 nights. Food is good and dinner is served quickly.
Views fantastic. Rooms clean and bed very comfortable.
The only bad thing was that the hotel was under going renovations. We were not advised of this at the time of booking.
However, staff we friendly and in spite of the renovations the hotel was clean.
Great walks nearby.
This was my second visit to Yeats Country Hotel at Rosses Point in Sligo. The staff couldn't make you feel more welcome. It's a lovely friendly family athmosphere, where you can relax , or take long walks on the beach, or even a round of golf. You will definitely feel the better for staying there.
5 star kids club. The girls are fantastic definitely going back again because of the kids club. The food was not great. Irish stew in the middle of the summer would have preferred to see more salads and lighter options for dinner. The food is the only reason I dropped 2 stars.
Wonderful little area. The hotel fulfills every need you would want. comfy clean and Big rooms, nice bar. Buffet brekkie etc, and then so much to do. Great gym as well. no complaints at all. Great value
At long last, after 2 years of restrictions & lockdowns, bookings cancelled due to covid, i eventually made it back to Yeats Country Hotel last week for 3 night stay and what a great time my family & i had. Staff as always polite, pleasent & very helpful, which makes the stay a worthwhile experience. Already looking forward to my next visit. To each and everyone of the staff thank you for a wonderful visit.
Basic hotel, very dated and the food was just average. Very noisy at night. Leisure facilities are in another building with poor changing facilties especially for families with young children on the upside the Pool was lovely and warm.
Friendly family-run hotel. Lovely views from the rooms and very welcoming. Fantastic location to explore coastal Sligo or stop off when doing the Wild Atlantic Way.
Thanks for a great weekend, very friendly staff. Nice music on Monday night. Recommend the steak from the restaurant, compares with the best we tasted. Spa very friendly and a good experience.
enjoyed the pool and the surroundings. Room very spacious, will go back.
We have taken our 4 children here every year for the past 6 years and we all love our stay. The staff, food, entertainment has always been fantastic. Can't wait for our next stay!
Just back from a 3 night break at the Yeats, on arrival at reception Martina gave us a a lovely and informative welcome, she's some craic, 😁😀 ,, the rooms are large (massive) and clean, just freshly painted and decorated,,, the continental or full Irish breakfast is self service and totally adequate, hot and fresh,,,, the four course dinner menu has a choice of four starters four main meals and four deserts and tea/ coffee, is changed nightly and is served quickly by very attentive staff. Music every night or relax in the lounges or bar, The leisure center is ok but underused I was the only user,,, private pool 😎. Most people we met were on their third or fourth visit so that speaks for itself. Sligo bus every hour from the front door, and fantastic beach walks two minutes from the hotel. We will certainly return for a visit..
Great place to chill and relax.staff very nice and helpful at all times.bedroom very nice bathroom bit dated.lovely open fires in lounge areas if you can get to sit by the fires some people don't like to share that area..food good.
the Yeats country hotel, was really good for families, and there was a lot of things to do in the hotel alone with music, gym, swimming pool and kids club. But on the last day I went to the spa to get GELeration two week polish nails and after 4 days it all peeled off which has never happened to me before!! And it was really disappointing as I paid 25 euro.
Stayed here with all the immediate family a few weeks ago. Everything was perfect and everyone enjoyed the hotel. Staff were great.
Amazing location, fantastic spa and hotel. Staff were very friendly, approachable and helpful. Rooms were lovely and spacious and fabulous views
Absolutely lovely. Would give 5 star but leisure centre needs a makeover!! Dinner menu a bit limited but food very nice. Would def stay there again 😃
Had a lovely time, hotel was lovely, food was great and staff were excellent, was just a bit disappointed that the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room weren't working, maybe they will be next time but the pool was great.
I stayed there for two days on a package deal. It was lovley, the staff were very friendly and the room was big and spacious and and comfy. The only thing was the jacuzzii was out of order at that time or so I was told.
I would love to stay there again and will do, soon.
The staff were amazing very nice and helpful the hotel was lovely very clean all over the spa was amazing i recommend it to anyone the food was awesome didnt make to the pool but maybe next time just wanna add big thank u to all the staff

Really enjoyed my stay great pool and spa also very friendly staff and great location and only a short walk to the beach.
Will be back great food friendly staff . Scenery amazing.
A bit rough around the edges....rooms and public areas need some TLC and modernization.....they turn the heating off at night -why??? Food is so so
Hotel has had an update since last time we visited. Much brighter and more modern.
Enjoyed our stay, breakfast excellent, staff very efficient.
Great service amazing hotel staff are so helpful rooms are immaculate
Very nice staff food in the restaurant not the best but bar food was good

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting.
The place on the planet for families with young kids
Had a lovely relaxing stay
A laugh a minute great spot
Lovely spot very friendly
Very nice place on the coast
Upon arrival to room we were unimpressed by the cleanliness. Fan didn't work in the bathroom , so after a family of 4 has a shower it's like a swimming pool. Breakfast was chaotic. Waited 20 minutes for hot food to arrive as the buffet was empty!! Hotel needs updated.
Best kids club in Ireland

Great staff

Very relaxing
Friendly atmosphere
Brilliant.
Nice location. Front room nice view. Less towards the back towards Sligo. All rooms are large and tidy. Bus to Sligo too rare. Typical hotel for car travelers. Lovely walks to Rosses Point beach. Quiet with a few restaurants nearby. Dinner possible at the hotel. Occasional events in the hotel. Swimming pool in the hotel or swimming in the sea. Inexpensive for what is offered.
Just returned from a couple of nights stay.
Staff were lovely and very helpful. Room was lovely and clean and judging from other reviews I think we had one of the updated rooms. Food was lovely and well presented. We enjoyed the music in the evenings too.
My only complaint would be the grab rail in the shower/bath is in the wrong place and made showering awkward and the shower knob was stiff and difficult to turn.
Will definitely visit again
Love this hotel we've been going out just to go for dinner there as lovely area to sit and look out and in winter lovely fires there too sit next to and get comfy on with the sofas. Good food here for nice dinners. Stayed here in hotel few years ago with friends and found rooms nice also.
Very friendly staff. Nothing was too much for them. Plush surroundings. Good food and relaxing facilities. Rooms were spacious and clean. The open fires left you with a really warm feeling. Would definitely go back there again.
I had my 40th birthday here at the weekend and it was just excellent! Top quality service from start to finish. Amazing staff and great facilities in the perfect location. I would highly recommend this hotel for an event or weekend stay.
The rooms are spotless, again the staff are so friendly and any requests are done straight away, asking for an iron etc.great spot near a bay I'm told is good for a swim. Bit cold at the moment to try. Really nice village.
Good hotel with friendly staff. A team of true professionals will resolve any of your requests. Very beautiful scenery and scenic area.
Nice rooms, well kept, very friendly staff. The pool is also amazing! Enjoyed our stay there.
Food was nothing impressive but eatable. Service slow and a little bit lack of information from servers.... the blonde lady in the restaurant was very nice :)
Beautiful location, nice friendly helpful staff. The hotel is a bit dated and the food was not great.
Day trip to the Spa, fabulous treatments ,wonderful staff, highly recommended
Thanks
Theresa Brady
Had a brilliant time here
Lovex it great place will definitely be back
We will probably visit this area of Sligo again.
Overall pleasant stay. The rooms are very large and very clean in an old style. Pleasant welcome. The big downside is with the catering, both in terms of the service and the quality of the dishes and drinks offered...not at all at the level of a 4 star and that's a real shame...
We had a large room on the ground floor with a nice view of the parking lot. It was nice to be able to monitor the car :-) The decor is a little dated but the charm works nonetheless. The friendliness of the staff is a plus. In this establishment, it is possible to eat at the pub or restaurant (reservation required) I recommend the pub which has the same menu, opens earlier and offers more affordable dishes. A lovely experience, a bit back to the future, with a much appreciated old-fashioned charm. Absolutely beautiful environment.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights during our tour of Ireland in August. Its location is fantastic, overlooking Sligo Bay and the landscape is one of the most fascinating I have ever seen. I can see why the poet Yates loved it here! The hotel is comfortable, even though our room did not have a sea view. The pool/spa area is really beautiful and my family enjoyed it very much.
The room is huge. Unfortunately not quite as clean. The water pressure is great, unfortunately a bathtub with a shower curtain and a permanently installed shower head.
Breakfast is a buffet and there is always plenty of everything available.
The Yeats Country Hotel impresses with its large and clean rooms. The entire hotel as a whole looks like it's from a bygone era, but it's very comfortable.|The bathrooms, on the other hand, are modern and clean, but you won't find a toilet brush.|The breakfast was ok, but nothing more.|Wi-Fi is available free of charge, However, you won't find a German television program. The highlight of the hotel is the direct view of the Atlantic from the rooms. Simply fantastic.
Old-fashioned hotel not in line with Italian standards (British taste) would need a revamp, on the other hand the location is spectacular on Sligo Bay and you can enjoy postcard-like views (especially at sunset). It is about ten kilometers from the center of Sligo. One night is enough and more.
The location is splendid, the rooms are large | The walk to the beach is simply beautiful. | Unfortunately, the furnishings are in urgent need of renovation | The carpet is worn out, the mattress is worn out, the - an old tube device - is no longer up to date
Nice hotel, good price, too bad you have to go outside to go to the spa, swimming pool...
