Reviews of Murphys Ice Cream

Murphy's Ice Cream is so delicious! We absolutely loved the Honeycomb Caramel, Irish Coffee, Kieran's Cookies, and Chocolate.
A. B.
Great ice cream place near the bay, it's a steal for the flavours they offer.
They have small, medium and large ranges with two scoops each.
Must try - Irish Gin (contains alcohol), Honeycomb caramel and Irish coffee (contains alcohol)
B. M.
Very friendly staff. Wonderfully inventive ice cream flavours. Perfect location in the centre of town.
R. B.
I try Sea Salt, Rum & Raisin and Elderflower and I highly recommend all of there!
s. d.
Delicious Ice cream in a fab location. Good selection the sea salt caramel was very tasty.
D. B.
Amazing different flavours! Lovely friendly staff who offered us little samples of the ones we wanted to try before we ordered.
Some of the flavours you wouldn’t think are nice are lovely depending on your tastes. Have to try if you visit Dingle
S.
Lovely creamy ice-cream. We were met by a charming woman who let us taste ice-cream samples for free, like fennel ice-cream, etc. We took each 2 scoops with their famous dingle sea salt ice-cream & another one in a big cone. My husband's ice-cream & my own were superb in flavour & texture. It was a bit more pricey but the same price of good quality ice-cream in Belgium.
K. L.
We drove all the way from Dublin to try this iconic ice cream and it was completely worth it. We tried a few flavour but ultimately went for the vanilla salt and it's the smoothest, rich, milky, savoury ice cream ever.
The shop is very well kept and has excellent customer service. The server was friendly and smiled the whole way.
J. B.
I give a full score for the concept with ice cream served their way. Kind on tasting before buyouts good. The staff is outstanding in service. In a natural way. Credit for that. The ice cream itself is good but you have tasted the same in other high level places. They have flavor you don’t expect. No parking outside. #wheelchair access.

We were soo excited to try this renown homemade ice cream and made it a must do on our itinerary list for Dingle where supposedly Murphy's was born.
I hate to say that I was somewhat disappointed. I had the coffee ice cream and tried the Christmas special ice cream. Meh. Both were just ok. I was not blown away by it and definitely had better. On the plus, you can mix any two flavors for certain ice creams.
Also, the service was very friendly and that saved my Murphy's experience.
T. F.
Best ice cream in Ireland. Very unique flavors like Dingle sea salt. Staff were helpful and more than willing to allow you a taste of all their flavors (making your choice that much more difficult). We got a medium cone with Dingle sea salt and Carmel.
G. N.
Sweet Lord, Decided to treat the kids to a large Ice cream, 5 of them €8 change out of 50 notes, I had a 20 spot ready, Nearly died on the spot. Some cheek in all fairness asking for that amount of dosh for a flipping ice cream. Twas Nothing special really, the missus makes stuff nicer TBH. I be Embarrassed to even say I actually paid this amount for Ice cream to someone!
E. P.
The brown bread ice cream is soooooo good. Other flavors are great. So if you are in Dingle don't miss it they also have locations in Dublin. We were there about 1.5 years ago. But I suspect it is still very tasty. Get your ice cream and walk along the water. And wash it down with some dingle whiskey.
K. L.
Ice cream in February? Okay!! I'll admit I have a bit of a sweet tooth so it didn't take much more than a little sample of their ice cream to get me in there for the full experience. I had their salted ice cream and their take on cookies n cream. It was delicious! I was like a kid in a candy shop...but in an ice cream shop instead.
A little expensive but worth the stop (and, they have toilets)
A. K.
Gorgeous vegan ice cream!! 2 flavours :) Servers were so nice and helpful and the setup is really lovely. Highly recommend a visit if coming to Dingle
K.
Had amazing Ice cream here served by a lovely young man called Conor. He was so obliging and friendly, letting us in when he was trying to close the shop! My favourite flavour was definitely the honeycomb caramel. Unreal!
E.
The only tourist trap worth falling into. Five euro for a small serving is kinda messed up but hey get that coin. I had caramel & chocolate which was very nice. My friend got gin ice cream, she had never had gin, i told her she wouldn't like it and she didn't.
A. p.
Amazingly fresh ice cream!!.
Atlantic Sea Salt was great...but the Brown Bread and Orange Marmalade combo is too great to even type about.
When in Dingle....come to Murphy's
i. a.
Not the most tasty ice cream that I have had but different one. Worthy to try. Homemade & healthy
J. T.
We spent the day on the Dingle peninsula and read great things about this ice cream shop. We stopped we were in Dingle which was a very cute town. Strangely, there are two of the same ice cream shop within a two minute walk of each other on the same street in Dingle. We stopped at the first one and then saw a second one.
They were very friendly and let us sample several different flavors before we decided what to get. I decided to get the dreamy creamy caramel which was delicious. My parents loved what they got as well.
The one we stopped at was small with no seats, but the one down the street was a bit bigger and had some seating.
This is definitely worth stopping for in Dingle! There are also shops in Dublin, Killarney, and Galway.
M. C.
The ice cream was good but not amazing.. sea salt flavor was worth the trip from Tralee because it was a new experience.. other flavors was ordinary.. it is expensive (9€ for 3 small scoops). The trip from Tralee to Dingle by bus (cost 28€ two ways) was amazing experience.. beautiful scenery especially that I went there in a relatively sunny day 😂. So if you have time & some money go for it. They have friendly staff too.
D.
Absolutely fantastic ice cream. They have such an amazing selection of flavours. A Dingle must
B. S.
Best icecream between Dublin and Porltand (Salt&Straw). Everything homemade by using local products. Two scoops 4,50 € seems to be expensive but it´s worth it. Try it, you´ll love it.
M. S.
Fantastic range of flavours made in dingle, one of the best ice creams I've had, definitely recommended if u like a saucy ice cream.
E. L.
The sea salt flavor is simply the best ice cream on the planet! You can definitely smell the sea, it's smooth, creamy, perfection. It's a must if you're in Dingle.
A. A.
Good ice cream. Minuscule scoops. Way too pricey for the quantity served.
A. L.
I was a little taken aback by the prices. Until I had my first little bite. We came back for seconds after dinner. And thirds the next afternoon. Gin ice cream was amazing on its own and together with berry.
M. J.
I LOVE MURPHY'S ICE CREAM. I fell in love with it in Dingle, then had it in Galway, and then in Dublin. There was a lot of Murphy's ice cream eaten on my trip to Ireland. Their flavors are all amazing, but the simple unflavored cream flavor was transcendental. The employees across all locations were very friendly people too.
S. I.
Great ice cream. Try the brown bread with chocolate... very yummy!
D. H.
The flavor choices are great - we held up the line while sampling as many as we could - and they were all great! Definitely stop in here while you're in Dingle!
A. D.
The Irish coffee ice cream is amazing, and very kind staff
J. S.
This place makes its own ice cream with some very unique flavors that celebrate all things Irish -- Dingle Sea Salt, Irish Brown Bread, Dingle Gin, Irish Garden, just to name a few. It's a bit expensive for the amount you get, but you have to factor in things like boiling down sea water to get the salt. And you're on vacation! If you're looking for plain vanilla or chocolate, you won't find it here.
J. O.
Spotlessly clean shop, nice friendly welcoming staff. Ice cream is a bit pricey but of very high quality so I guess you get what you pay for, and it is a treat after all!
S. K.
Visited here today, nice selection of flavours and different cones and tubs. As a celiac, the service was very good. No questions asked, a new scoop was washed and used for my serving. Would not visit again however as it is too expensive for what it is. €6.40 for a medium size, in reality was two small scoops. Also, when we visited one of the employees was short spoken and impatient as we ordered.
M. P.
If you love ice-cream as much as I do then this is a must visit when you are Dingle. So many interesting options to choose from. Will definitely be stopping by a few more times.
A. M. C.
Kids love, wish they would drop the over played Irish gimmickery..just want the icecream! Sorbet yum too
C. P.
Amazing delicious! This is a must stop even on a rainy day. My favorites are chocolate and Dingle gin but they’re all excellent.
R. C.
Creamy and delicious! Just the right amount of sweetness.
N.
This is the type of places you get excited about... Young and old, there's ice cream for everyone. The fantastic customer service gives it an all round great experience!
R. D.
Best ice cream ever! I had the honeycomb caramel and the Dingle sea salt, which were both amazing.
A. M.
Amazing staff! They greet each client, chat and offer to taste the ice cream. This on its own is a 5-star welcome.
The ice cream is excellent. I had some of it. More than what can be considered reasonable but it does worth it!
M. D.
Combining two of my favourite things. Gin AND ICE-CREAM! What's not to love? Very friendly staff who let us sample almost every ice-cream and made pairing recommendations! In the end I opted for the dingle gin and the sea salt (I know it sounds ominous but it is incredible!). You can't visit Dingle without stopping here. Brown bread and Irish coffee get honorary mentions!
J. W.
Unreal Ice Cream! The staff were so kind and helpful. They offer you some free samples before you buy. They recommend certain combinations which are really lovely together. The ice cream is packed full of flavour and so delicious. Hope I get the chance to taste it again in the future.
R. a. S. N.
Super good ice cream but very expensive. They freely give out samples so that you can find a flavor that you enjoy. You have to visit this place in Dingle, the best ice cream ever! We loved the Honeycomb/Irish Coffee combo.
L. M.
I still dream about this ice cream. Creamy, in astounding flavors, with unique toppings. 🍨
C. W. N.
They serve really nice ice cream but it can be a small bit pricey but that is expected as they have many different flavours that they come up with by themselves. The staff are really friendly, they allow you to try all their flavours for free so you can take your time to decide what flavours you like. I especially liked the brown bread and sea salt flavoured ice cream. Definitely worth a try if you're nearby.
J. S.
Excellent! Great customer service! It's the Chick-fil-a of ice cream shops!
K. L.
Rated best ice cream in Ireland. Try the Dingle Sea salt. For 4.50€, you get 2 small scoops. The staff is very friendly and attentive. He let me try as many flavors as I needed until I found the ones I liked. They have 2 locations in Dingle.
L. S.
Extraordinarily good ice cream. Certainly the best ice cream available in the country. Varied array of flavour options. Provide dairy free option of chocolate sorbet, and raspberry sorbet. Would highly recommend the brown bread flavour ice cream. Not inexpensive, but worth it if you consider the quality. Treat it as a desert or a treat. Less expensive ice creams are available but not comparable. Worth a visit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A. R.
I had their ice cream a while ago and still dream about it to this day. It’s made with milk from local cows! Grab a cone and walk around adorable Dingle.
A. C.
Visited here with family this week (and another branch in Galway too). This place has nice staff and decor and the ice cream is good. It has the same menu in both locations. There are individual flavours on the top menu for cones or cups. Or special mixed flavours with toppings on the bottom, only available in cups.
They allow you to try a taste of the ice creams before you order. There is brown bread ice cream, raspberry sorbet, cookies and cream, Irish apple balsamic and plenty of others.
It is 4.50 for small, 6 for medium and 7.50 for large from the top menu.
The special ice creams are 5.50 small, 7 medium and 8.50 large.
Expensive but it does reflect the quality. They also sell souvenir merchandise.
A. G.
The awards are well-earned. Tasty unique Irish flavors served by pleasant staff.
E. H.
Staff were fantastic and ice cream equally so
K. O.
No words describe this better than yum. The home of brown bread icecream. We each god different flavours and they were all equally delicious. This is a must go place if you are in dingle
R. G.
Best ice-cream ever. When you walk in you are greeted but extremely cheerful members of staff ( sorry, didn't catch your names). They will explain you each flavour and you can try for free. The scoops are good size and ice-cream are delicious!
M. W.
Lovely little store and the ice cream is DELICIOUS, even if it's a bit expensive. Especially the brown bread ice cream is very unique. There's also a very cute and talkative employee 🥺
B. S.
Great ice cream and very nice staff. They offer lots of samples and advice so you pick the right flavor. Mix a few different flavors together and you can get some amazing dessert.
D. S.
Good ice cream but a little pricey
Q. M.
I'm raging I never got any pictures of this place. But as you walk in the staff or not invoice friendly and helpful. As we browse through the menu we spotted something that was near and dear to our Irish hearts brown bread ice cream lots of brown bread being in ice cream turned us a little but when we got a taste of it it was the most amazing thing we've ever tasted in our life who would have thought putting granny's homemade brown bread into ice cream would work. You could tell as well with the quality of the ice cream that they had there that it was all homemade a locally sourced. One of the most popular ice creams was the sea salt one. I am not surprised why it is the most popular because it was absolutely beautiful will most definitely be returning
S. M.
Get some of this while you're here. No excuses both the ice cream and non-dairy sorbet are fantastic and the girl who let us in right before closing is amazing to talk to. Super awesome and I hope things go well for her. Definitely one of the top places to go and right next door to objectively the best bar in Dingle.
d. m.
i brought my little girl in for her birthday and there was a small group with us. we just ordered a selection of flavours and shared them out and they were great. the staff knew it was my daughters birthday and really made her feel like she was the centre of the world for the time there. we very much appreciated the lovely gesture they made for her on the day. big thank you to everyone working there for such a good day, she's been boasting about the candles on the ice-cream since :)
S. C.
It was good ice cream, there is no doubt. It was pretty creamy. However, I thought that it was ever so slightly lacking in flavor. Also given that it is made right here on the Dingle peninsula, I expected more flavors. I guess I am spoiled by some of ice cream shops I have been in.
C.
We weren't even hungry as we were walking by, but my wife informed me that hunger isn't a prerequisite to enjoying ice cream. She was right, and the ice cream here is pretty top notch.
The staff is incredibly friendly, and perfectly willing to let you sample all the flavors.
E. G.
Very overpriced!. Ice cream tasted ok, we tried a few flavours and the sticky toffee pudding special wasn't the best but not the worst. While the male member of staff was chopping up the sticky toffee pudding he was munching on the off cuts which was quite off putting. I didn't enjoy the lavender ice cream. The sorbet was probably the best of the lot and the only one that was finished out of the 9 in our group and the portions are fairly small so that says it all really. The t shirts slogans are cool ! I felt like the staff felt uncomfortable waking around the shop and outside to talk to customers it was forced conservation rather than natural chat.
L. W.
Loved the icecream and the staff are great :)
Try the soda bread icecream :) It is delicious.
E.
Great local made ice cream, best in town. comparable prices to the other shop opposite, but much nicer flavours. The "specials" caramel, and Peanut were delicious, they care a lot about their ice cream!
K.
Just the best ice cream we ever tasted. We had the flavors of Dingle Sea Salt and Kieran's Cookies - both delicious! This place was packed and we went in to the store last 10 minutes before close! The employees were joyful and eager to tell us about how they crafted the ice cream.
G. D.
I loved the ice cream here. I would come here once a day for the three days I was in Dingle. I would get Kierans's Cookies and Smooth Chocolate in a Medium Cone. And I. Would. LOVE IT.
C.
My little Girl got to visit Murphy's from Texas while on a Make A Wish. The owner and staff were wonderful. They took her to the production facility and had her serving ice cream at the store. They made Abby feel so special. The ice cream is fantastic and the way it is made is impressive as well. Made with actual rain water and salt they make themselves from sea water. They have their own cows that provide the milk. The cows are Kerry Cows that are special of themselves.
S. S. O.
We had the Dingle Sse salt, butterscotch, and smooth chocolate ice cream. So delicious! Even on a cold day, this ice cream is refreshing. It has almost a malt-like flavor.
J. G.
We got addicted to Murphy's Ice Cream during our stop in Dingle and believe it or not, we visited both locations because we might not have gotten a chance to try all of their amazing flavors at our first visit. Don't worry, we also hit the one in Dublin up for some of our favorites before heading back across the pond. Go in - enjoy some ice cream!
D. B.
Our favourite ice cream brand in Ireland 🍨💞
A. A.
Don't miss their ice cream. The most delicious ice cream Ive ever tasted. The staff are very friendly
J. H.
Some of the best ice cream I've ever had, though the serving sizes are quite small for the high price. Very friendly and cheerful service though! You have to try it out if visiting Dingle.
T. K.
Super good ice cream and the staff was so friendly to help us pick out complimenting flavors. The Dingle Gin and Raspberry were great but we opted for the Irish Coffee and Butterscotch!
S. M.
The service was the best. The young man was very nice and gave us a taste of some flavours.
There are lots of flavours. We took raspberry and blackcurrant Sorbet (those are made with irish rainwater) and chocolate and irish Coffee (which is with Whisky). All four delicious!
It is expensive though, but worth it.
S. L.
Great ice cream and really friendly staff. You’ll see Murphy’s all over Ireland but this is where it all began.
J. L.
Top notch ice cream. It's in the top three in the country. Great local varieties, and the staff are always lovely. They even have joke jars, full of handwritten jokes from customers.
A. W.
Great little icecream spot. The caramel cream dream was excellent
M. W.
Delicious Ice cream! Try the Butterscotch and their classic Sea Salt Vanille!
X. C.
Great ice creams and hyper friendly staff
A. K.
Beautiful ice creams..... just yummy specially sea salt
L. F.
Ah fantastic ice cream! Was there last year and I remember getting a wild garlic ice cream cone which was amazing then I dropped it when I was crossing the street and I was so sad but then they gave me another one and I was happy again!
L. S.
Very nice staff, extremely delicious and unique ice cream. Not cheap but definitely well worth it!
J. N.
The staff in both shops in dingle were amazing. Explained everything, sense of humor with the cow and also great selection of ice creams
K. S.
The absolute best ice cream ever !!! Sea salt is my favourite but all of them are really delicious ! Definitely not just got kids !
S. M.
Best ice-cream in Dingle. Quality ingredients, delicious flavours. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Our first stop when we arrive in Dingle!
N. O.
The Ice-cream here is lovely, slightly pricey but it is a tourist town so this is expected. However the staff that were on today (6/4/19) were quite all over the place. We were greeted by one girl(long curly haired)who when we asked a few questions to, regarding a fish allergy, she gave us an allergen book which was very helpful.
Once we queued, we were being served by a girl (Chloe) who was good but it was the new person being trained in or maybe needs to be trained more that really let down the service. She was cutting in over us placing an order from the couple behind, which confused not only us but Chloe who was serving us, then to make matters a little worse the girl who greeted us, decided to cut in front of us to finish our order (confusing us and Chloe more) while also semi-giving out to the new girl, which was not at all quiet or discreet.
If you are to train someone in, maybe train them in on one station at a time and maybe a not so busy period, so when peak season arrives they are ready. I give 3 stars because of how messy the staff were, Chloe is the only one I can give credit to as she was trying to make all the different ice creams while the other two tried to work...
J. B.
Friendly staff! We sampled a few flavors and settled on elderflower and Irish cream - so delicious! Wish I could have packed all the flavors into a single cup!
T. T.
Tried the brown bread ice cream. Expensive, but worth trying.
L. R.
The staff here are very enthusiastic and well spirited. There is a good selection of unusual flavors of ice-cream and few sorbets as well, you will definitely find something you'll enjoy.
m. d.
Hi , Mark Doherty here. I'm the tour guide who used to drive the 'Driftwood' tour bus. A good few of you shop staff would know me as the guide who used to 'kidnap them for ice cream'. It was such fun. They would jump on the bus with loads of freebees for all my passengers. Any way I hope you are all doing well down in Dingle. I used to stay 3 nights a month in Dingle, but I'm not sure if I will make it down this year.... Hope you are all doing ok. Take Care. Mark Doherty. P.S Can you PM the details of who did your website and branding. Its really good. (But of course everything with Murphys is 5 Star [[email protected]]
T. C.
An absolute array of different flavours! They let you taste before so you pick the right flavour! Try the 'dingle sea salt'. All of their products are naturally sourced, the milk is from indigenous Kerry cattle which is cool.
G. T.
Yummy ice cream - not cheap, but worth the money.
D. O.
Staff are very welcoming. A very nice idea of allowing samples, helps you to decide. Small selection of flavours, however the flavours on offer are simply amazing. Best Ice-Cream shop ever!!!
R. W.
Lovely ice cream shop. Sourcing the best local ingredients from the milk used and all the flavourings. Some great flavours are Irish sea salt, brown bread, dingle Gin, Guinness.
A. T. H. G.
Without doubt the nicest ice cream in Ireland.. The Murphy brothers have created a wonderful business in Dingle where their cream comes from the Kerry cow only.. They have branched out and opened shops outside of Kerry also and is a real treat for any family day out.
D. B.
Their ice cream is made from milk from the very special Kerry cow. They have a lot of delicious flavors - including Dingle Gin. The girls who run the place are a joy to be around. Dingle is a lovely town to go for a taste of old seaside west Ireland.
1. G.
Just arrived to Dingle and the one thing we were recommended to try was the battered chocolate bars. Absolutely amazing! Gorgeous sea view!
R. B.
The ice-cream is so good, I couldn't believe anyone could make gin flavoured ice cream but Murphy's did it, and with panache. Being able to try the flavours before you committed was a massive bonus.
A. O.
I'm really glad I don't live in Dingle (spoiler alert, that's not really true!) As I'd spend my life eating the wonderful ice-cream. The variety and depth of flavour is unique
F. N.
Bit pricy but well worth it. Must try at least once. The staff and setting turn choosing an ice cream into a whole new experience. You can get their ice cream in some stores now but it's just not the same...
B. W.
Top notch...try the sea salt ice cream
G. C.
Best ice cream in Ireland by far.
S. D.
Would be 5* but for the absolute extortionate prices!!! Buyer beware especially with children in tow!
A. o.
Beautiful ice cream but a little bit expensive
B.
Definitely the best mango sorbet i've had in my life. I'm from the United states, but this was one of the best ice cream places i've ever been to. When I was visiting Kerry, locals recommended it. It smelled kind of strange inside but the sorbet I had was delicious. There is a large and very welcoming open entrance. I recommend stepping in and giving it a try if you are in this area!
B. B.
Don't say I did not warn you. Eating at Murphy's will ruin all other ice cream for you because it is bar none the best ice cream I have ever had. I suggest getting the gin ice cream and mixing it with one of the fruit flavors.
T. C.
Fantastic ice cream with great variety. Lovely location and better staff. Claire seems like she'll never run out of energy. Great place to stop!
R. B.
Great icecream, staff really nice, and they offer samples so you can taste their wide selection of ice cream before settling on one.
F. K.
Lovely staff. Best ice cream and sorbet ever. Dingle gin. A bit pricey but every penny. Clean. Irish. Delicious.
A. K.
Best ice cream in town! Tasty flavors. Very friendly. Prices quite high but so is quality. Loved it!
S. R.
Brown bread ice cream is amazing!!
F. A.
Perfect ice cream cone for walking around town.
P. P.
The ice cream is amazing, especially their home made sea salt ice cream. They usually give you some samples to try for you to decide, which is a nice and friendly touch.
A. J.
Good ice cream. Love that they make it themselves with local ingredients. Service was good. Daily specials available.
A. P.
Very nice ice cream well worth to try. Tasty and new flavours
R. M. (.
A bright shining star of indulgence. Serving great ice-cream and super hot chocolate in a relaxed, friendly, and colourful premises on Wicklow street. They do good coffee to and it's a kids paradise.
W. M.
Some of the best I've cream I have tasted, but the spirit of the workers is infectious. The combination keeps you coming back for more!
T. O.
Great ice cream. We liked the one in Dublin so much that when we were in Dingle we stopped here too
D. G.
Wonderful locally made and flavoured icecreams . You can sample all flavours before buying. Excellent friendly service.
B. B.
Really great flavors and very, very nice and talkative employee. Nice comfortable atmosphere. A highlight
C. D.
Had the brown bread and Irish coffee. Was a bit expensive for what you get for sure but it tasted good and the people inside were friendly. I’d go again if I was in Dingle.
M. M.
Murphy’s Ice Cream, the staff are wonderfully helpful with smiles and great service. “I scream, You scream, We all scream for Ice Cream”. Deeeelicious.
C. B.
Ice cream taste good. Employees were extremely friendly and kind to take their time to explain everything to us.
B. D.
I was slightly disappointed here. The location closest to the marina was closed because it was "out of season," even though it was April and the town was packed with tourists. We went to the one slightly farther away. The staff was nice, but the ice cream was a letdown given all I'd heard about it. I tasted a couple of options and settled on butterscotch, and it all had a little bit of freezer burn. Once I got past that, it was fine. But if you're comparing to, say, Springer's in Stone Harbor (NJ), it's not in the same league.
By all means, stop in if you're in Dingle and looking for something cold and sweet. But it's not really worth going out of your way.
A. C.
Make sure you try the Irish Sea salt flavour. The gin goes well with the raspberry sorbet. Surprisingly they don't have vanilla.
K.
Lots of unique flavours, excellent customer service (they bring samples to you as you wait) but overpriced (4.50 for small, 6 for medium, 7.50 for large)
T. M.
ace ice cream. Irish coffee was amazing. Very nice great staff, bit off a rip off though. Can't miss though gotta go atleast once while in dingle.
J. Ó. R.
Lovely ice-cream and friendly staff. They are happy to let you try flavours before you buy.
D. H.
Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. Such creative flavors.
P. C.
The ice cream is delicious. I had the caramel and my hubby the Irish garden both were fabulous.
Z. L.
Delicious flavors that are distinctly Irish. The Brown Bread flavor is surprisingly good. Try a cookie in your scoop; it's delicious!
G. V.
so we now have been following Murphys from city to city and we are apparently going to experience each and every one of their locations prior to my vacation being over. The tastes are different than they are back in America perhaps it because the cows are so happy here. I don't know why but the staff seems to be generally enjoying their jobs and the ice cream is terrific the price is reasonable I would give this place 5 Stars. As I did
J. N.
Great ice-cream and great selection of flavours - weird and wonderful but all delicious!
M. I.
Fantastic ice cream with lovely staff. Would highly recommend this place for families etc
T. S.
The best ice cream shop in the country, the ice cream is incredible but it's the customer service that sets it apart
S. ..
Best ice cream in Ireland!!! Period.
D. G.
Nice but expensive icecream, it's a treat for the senses though. Dingle gin icecream is lovely in the summer .
J. S.
We had 3 kinds of ice cream here, all great! Nice location and great employees
A. A.
Great all around
T. B.
The best icecream ever and the staff were incredible!! 100% Worth a visit and you won't regret it.
S. J.
The best ice cream ever. Too bad it's so far from home. Try the sea salt, or the honeycomb, or the butterscotch. Or anything else; it's all delicious.
H. T.
Great ice cream. Super customer service. A bit pricy. But quality doesn't come cheap.
I. I.
I had raspeberry and chocolate sorbet: wonderful! No artificial flavourings, just natural ingredients!
A. L.
Delicious ice cream!
N. C.
Very worth a visit - even the day was freezing ❄❄ ice cream variety fantastic 🍧🍨
O. A.
Probably the best ice cream shop in the world. The brown bread ice cream is amazing.
G. C.

Good ice cream with local Irish ingredients, but hard to get past the €6 price tag for a pretty average sized 'Medium' cone. Sure if you're here you're probably on holiday, so treat yourself to the Irish Coffee flavour with real whiskey anyway.

(Translated) Dingle's famous ice cream shop. It's called a chain store, but I'm not sure.
It's really delicious. There are a variety of flavors and the taste is really good and the staff are very friendly.
The price is a bit expensive, but it's a tourist destination. We recommend it by all means.

(Translated) Mmmmmm ..... the ice cream is really very good even if a little expensive. The staff is really very friendly. I recommend the "cut" butterschotch and salted butter caramel.

(Translated) Ice cream very good. The company has been awarded many medals. An interesting fact is salty ice cream. The only drawback is probably the price is too high.

Lody bardzo dobre. Firma odznaczona wieloma medalami. Ciekawostką są słone lody. Jedyną wadą jest chyba zbyt wysoka cena.

(Translated) You always hear "Murphys have the best ice cream". It was tasty, not exactly special, tiny little balls that you really need to dig deep into your pocket. All in all. Completely overpriced and not nearly as good as real Italian ice cream.
(Original)
Man hört ja ständig „bei Murphys gibt es das beste Eis“. Es war lecker, nicht unbedingt besonders, winzig kleine Kugeln für die man wirklich sehr tief in die Tasche greifen muss. Alles in allem. Vollkommen überteuert und nicht annähernd so gut wie echte italienische Eiscreme.

(Translated) The ice creams are delicious. They let you taste the flavors before buying them. The staff is very nice and attentive. I ordered a chocolate whiskey flavor and it tasted great. They may seem a bit expensive but they are worth buying

(Translated) Hamme rice. Price is, as I find very cheap because the balls are probably twice as big as in Germany. Irish ice cream tastes just mega good.
(Original)
Hammereis.
