This Victorian town park is one of my favourite spots in Dungarvan. It is a little off the beaten track and consequently is never crowded. It features an original Victorian cast iron bandstand manufactured in Glasgow. It also has monuments to the 1798 and 1916 Rebellions. The entrance gates are original to the parks foundation. Affording views over Dungarvan Harbour, on a sunny day this is a little oasis of tranquility close to the town centre. The park is on the Dungarvan Heritage Trail and is close to St. Mary's Church and Dungarvan Castle.

Dungarvan is a must see, great night life, good beaches and colligan woods, Mahon falls is just breath taking. Just to add west Waterford is one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland
