Very impressive mountains. Spectacular views and amazing flora and fauna. Unfortunately we couldn't make a full loop, due to extra strong wind. But we will definetelly come back and give another try.

Tiny car park which can accommodate almost 10 to 12 cars. You need to be here early if coming in a group.

Small carpark so need to be there early. Very accessible to cush, galtymore etc

Lovely place. I recommend even with children. You can walk to the lake in 2 hours, 10 km in total. Remember that it is forbidden to walk with dogs ...

I've always started my hike from this carpark it's really big, free,and leads me straight up the lough curra short cut route (on today's hike) ...walk to the top of the carpark walk straight left then left(for sign galtymore stile sign) then follow signs for lough curra short cut,brings you to lake can also galtees from here .. sign posted well follow the green posts took me 2half to 3 hours I started in the am to catch a sunrise..yea boots are needed, polls would be of benefit too enjoy !!!!be safe 🏔🧭➡️follow me on my Instagram for more adventures and hikes Kathy.mcpartland _wall
