C. O.Mike and Bob run a great store here. Lots of specialist knowledge for any question you may have and a wide range of gear for anyone from a beginner/amateur up to the pro photographer. Well worth a visit for anything camera or photography related. Also you can print your photos on site if you wish to.

K. D. Ž.I recently bought my first Nikon mirrorles camera. I always prefer to go to the store, but since due to current restrictions we are not able to travel, I decided to make an online purchase. Honestly, I don’t like online shopping, for several reasons, but I have to admit that this experience has fully encouraged me. I literally received the package the next day and the product was incredibly well protected.
The whole process was incredibly enjoyable and the staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and professional. Namely, the product I wanted to buy was not available on their website, so I called the store to ask when they would get the camera I wanted to buy. The kind gentlemen immediately offered me an alternative over the phone so I was able to get the kit I wanted. Also, since due to technical problems by my bank I could not make the purchase immediately, I called the store once again to explain the situation and then I was told there was no problem, that they would put the camera kit aside until my payment was processed.
In short, an extraordinary experience! All recommendations. Customer service is on a professional level. I have definitely found my own photo equipment store to which I will return in the future. Greetings from the real capital! :)
M. K.I only heard about the solar eclipse a few days before it occurred, so I headed into Conns Cameras, and was delighted to find all I needed there. Thanks to the very knowledgeable staff, I bought a solar Lee eclipse filter and attachments, which enabled me to get some fabulous (imo) shots of the eclipse.
I've found Cons to be unfailingly helpful and pleasant any time I've visited their store.

Visited with my dad to price upgrading my camera and lens. Walked out with a new camera and lens, excellent advice regarding my old equipment, a variety of new carrying and cleaning equipment and a new pair of binoculars. We were permitted to try out different models when deciding, and the shop was very well-stocked.
We were assisted by Marcus, who couldn't have been more helpful - anything we mentioned he brought for us to examine or try out. He showed us examples of photography using the equipment I was interested in, including his own work. He was respectful, informative, able to recommend and explain products very well, and a joy to talk to.
I will definitely be returning to Conn's Cameras, and I would highly recommend it to people interested in photography, filmography and similar areas, no matter their level.

I was able to play with all of the latest high-end cameras; picking and choosing whichever bits of kit I wished to pair it with. The owner was so helpful, talked to me about alternative and ways of achieving the shot I needed. Showed me a few pieces of equipment, even promised I could take back for a refund it it didn't work out. And all this happened right at 6pm as the shop was closing. They didn't try to hurry me out the door. I really felt they wanted to make sure I was happy before I left.

P. B.Great service and assistance. After bed experience I had with the other photolab, I called Conns Camara first, in order to get more information about the photos I needed. The person who assisted me over the phone was super professional and helpful. I received a lot of tips and suggestions. They printed my photos 1 hour after I sent them to their lab. When I arrived to pick up the photos, I was attended quickly and without any problems, despite the fact that they had a lot of the other Clients at their place.
Additional big advantage of Conns Cameras is their flexibility - unlike the many other places, They are opened on Saturday.
D.I came here for passport photos so my review is only related to this service. I had expected the photos to be taken in a suitably equipped studio perhaps in the back of the shop. Instead, you have to stand in the middle of the corridor with the reflective foil in your hand and have your photo taken. The quality is accordingly. If you want a fast and uncomplicated service you can come here. I would have liked, however, that my photos looked a little brighter and not grainy.

S. P.Not sure what the chaps name was that looked after me but he was wearing a red top/ jacket and was tall. Best problem solving skills I've seen in a while. Really outstanding customer service. He made a small rig and phone holder combo so that i could have a monitor on my gimbal without having to invest and wait on the stock Zhiyun attachment. Not only did he save me time and money, the set up actually works better than the Zhiyun equivalent.
This is why Conns has always been and will inevitably remain, the best camera equipment store in the country. I can't begin to tell you guys how happy this small effort made me. All the best for Xmas, lads.

C. H.I went here to get visa photos done for my trip to Thailand. The shop was very busy when we arrived and we had to wait for some time to be attended to. This would have been fine but for (who I assumed to be) the owner of the shop yelling at his employees to look after all the customers and shouting up the stairs to other staff members when everyone was clearly busy. It made for and awkward experience.
When we were attended to, the staff member was extremely helpful and attentive. He even gave me 2 different sizes of photos to make sure I had the correct one.

S. S.Very small shop and very busy for whatever reason, so you get the very minimum service possible. I was buying an expensive camera, and the most my shop assistant could say about it was "she is good, huh?".
Second, I tried to buy a bag from them, which was "in stock" on their website. Asked if I could stop by to take a look and buy at the shop. They said yes but once I arrived, they couldn't find the bag. Great, "give us your email and we'll let you know" - never happened! My subsequent email reminder was also left without a reply.
Bad service, that's all.

Not taking into consideration our request he was more focused on his sale. Luckily I did prior research and even though the sensor size is larger, we were lookign to upgrade from the sx 520.
Overall good place and helpful staff but that salesman was a bit abrupt and that for me lost our sale.

I have recently made contact by email and telephone re some Canon printing accessories. I had the good fortune to speak to a gentleman name Bob and am very happy to see that there are people like him carrying on the good tradition of Conn's camera shop. I was impressed.. I am Kilkenny based for past 38 years but it is so easy now to do business with the likes of Conn's cameras.on line or by email, message or telephone and if you make a purchase a Courier will make the delivery promptly, apparently no matter where you are globally.
However, I am in the happy position that I can journey there in an hour and a quarter. I hope to continue to do business with Conn's as all you need is to speak to a guy like Bob to convince you it's worth it. In this busy world it's nice to communicate with helpful, relaxed easy people and Bob to me seems such a person.

I then called and they said the driver left it in my house and of course i tell them they never came to my house. So they just say its next door and to deal with it.

So i have to go out to their house climb over a fairly high wall to get my package which is basically thrown in a bush on the other side
