U. H.Wonderful service and advice - we found some old black and white photos of my grandparents which unfortunately had become damaged and scratched, so I brought them to Pictorium. I wanted to get them restored and also enlarged (one was very small), and they came out absolutely beautifully. Not only were the scratches removed, but the colour was corrected, so the white portions were actually white rather than cream. We also got the photos framed, and the advice given to us was wonderful, we found the perfect frame type to suit the two pictures and we're so so happy with how they turned out. We will definitely be coming back soon with more enlargements, restoration, and framing!!

P. O.What a discovery Pictorium Monkstown, in the person of Sharon Slowey was for me...let me explain. In 2019 I was writing a book on the history of Stewarts Care, Palmerstown and had reached the stage of considering and selecting what photographs and images to include. I did not have many old photographs, but there were a few which were in a very poor condition - cracked surface, colour faded, damaged. I decided I would only include photos that presented the people in them well, and was about to abandon some of them when I heard of Sharon at Pictorium. In May I brought her a small selection and within a few minutes she demonstrated her restoration approach and technique to me - pure magic before my eyes. A few days later I returned to collect that first batch, which were utterly transformed. That was the first of many trips to Monkstown on the No.4 Bus as I brought her original documents, maps, newspaper cuttings, slides, photos, all to be scanned and restored. In all she worked on over 200 images for inclusion in the book. The best was yet to come, as we discussed the layout for the cover, on which I had set ideas. I did not know until then that I was also dealing with a graphic designer of over twenty years experience, who took the task in her professional hand and delivered every idea I had, and far more. I have received nothing but compliments on the production values of the book and particularly the superbly designed front and back covers with the inner folds. In all, it was a very positive experience and nothing was a problem to Sharon.
