Mark and Fiona captured our wedding in September. We booked them for photography and videography. They were professional, fun and also had such a calm presence about them. Our pictures and video are more than we could have ever expected , they captured each part of the day magically and knew exactly where to take pictures at our venue and when the best time would be to take them. We would Highly recommend them to anyone thinking of booking photo or video services.

Mark and Fiona were fantastic to work with from start to finish. We had to move our wedding date 3 times due to Covid and they were so accommodating of all the changes and quick to respond which really helped with our planning. On day the of the wedding, Mark as great at keeping us to schedule, especially in the madness of getting ready in the morning! Both him and Fiona made sure to get the key shots and get us to the church on time! Neither myself or Conor are big fans of being photographed and did dread a little the shots on our own, but Mark and Fiona put us so at ease and we were laughing and smiling throughout. It all felt really natural and like we were just being captured in the moment. We have seen a couple of photos so far and absolutely love them. We cannot wait to get our hands on the whole lot as we know they will be amazing! Everything Mark and Fiona do is top quality. I would highly recommend working with The Fennells :)

We had the Fennell’s for our wedding and what an easy decision it was. Looking at their portfolio when we found them I knew they were who we wanted, but also how quick Mark was at replying to emails and any questions we had made the decision for us. When we changed our wedding date due to COVID there was no problem, we made sure it was a date that suited them aswell as they were the main supplier we didn’t want to lose! On our wedding day Mark and Fiona were amazing! They got on so well with the other suppliers so the bridal prep was a good laugh. They were so discreet in the church and at the venue. They knew exactly where all the good shots were in Ballymagarvey and it was very swift to get what we wanted. Everything seemed so natural. No over posing or feeling uncomfortable. All natural smiles and it was so enjoyable. When we got our photos back we were over the moon! Highly highly recommend the Fennell’s! True professionals and amazing photographers. You won’t be disappointed.

Where to start! I found The Fennells on Instagram back in 2017 and I’ve just been a massive fan of Mark and Fiona since day one. So when I was booking my wedding I knew they were the first thing I had to book long before even thinking of my dress or a venue. I couldn’t imagine my day without them. They were both so approachable even before we booked them and were there for us through the Covid postponements, questions, panics etc and put us at ease. The morning they showed up at my house I nearly died as seeing them in person meant it was finally “wedding time” (and like celebs in the house!!) The day went so perfect and it’s all down to Mark and Fiona. We wouldn’t be the most comfortable in front of the camera but they made it so easy and so enjoyable. The pictures are out of this world and the memories made on the day I’ll never forget or be able to thank them enough. Can we do it again please? I couldn’t recommend them enough. I want to first start off by saying that if you are unsure about which photographer to go with in look no further! Their work is simple, classic and timeless, exactly what I was looking for when searching for a photographer. Words will never express how happy we are to have chosen The Fennells as our wedding photographers or should I say how lucky we were that they agreed to be part of our day! We were one of the lucky couples who had amazing weather for our wedding and when we speak with family and friends the first thing everyone comments on is the weather quickly followed by and ‘your photographs are amazing, your photographers were brilliant, they were great fun’. Mark and Fiona are outstanding photographers, their attention to detail is incredible! As with every couple getting married in 2020, the weeks leading up to our wedding were a rollercoaster of change and emotion. Mark and Fiona were so calm and reassuring and made excellent suggestions whilst always respecting our wishes. Their style of photography captured the mood of the entire day and we have the most amazing array of photographs to look back on. They captured moments with all our guests that we never expected them to do. In our case, the sunset shots which we hadn’t planned but which they gave us the choice of that evening are among our absolute favourites! Whilst always professional, they were fun and flexible and felt like two friends on the day. My husband was the sixth son to get married in his family and therefore with lots of wedding experience it’s a very strong testimony when both his parents said that The Fennells were the best photographers they had experienced. Friends who are getting married have asked for our opinion of vary aspects of the day and we always begin by saying that choosing The Fennells was the best decision we made. They ‘made’ our day the best it could be!

Booking The Fennells was the easiest and best decision we made throughout planning our special day. We can't thank Mark & Fiona enough for the incredible memories they have provided us with. We absolutely love our photographs, everything is perfect and we couldn't be any happier with them. In particular, we love the action shots of our wedding guests throughout the day. As a couple, we generally don't like photographs of ourselves and always tend to feel a bit awkward. We expressed this concern to Mark & Fiona in advance of the wedding and they couldn't have made us feel any more comfortable on the day and the results are evident in the photographs! Due to unforeseen circumstances, our wedding band cancelled on the morning of our wedding. Mark & Fiona (the 'lifesavers') came to the rescue and organised a replacement band to show up on the day! They really do go above and beyond to ensure the couple have the best day possible. All we can say is Mark & Fiona were the team to have by our side throughout it all! The positive vibes and energy they created ensured we were relaxed and had fun at all time. They were professional to deal with from start to finish, and not to mention extremely efficient in sending back our photographs in record time!The only problem with working with these guys is choosing the photographs to go to the wedding album.....we love them all it's impossible!! The only way to describe The Fennel’s is magical. We met Mark and Fiona shortly after getting engaged and as soon as we met them we knew we had to have them at our wedding. The first thing I loved was the fact they were husband and wife. They’ve experienced what it’s like to get married so who would better to have photographing you then a couple who’ve already been through the emotions(and there were a LOT of emotions). The guys spent a great deal of time planning what shots we wanted to get and what was important to us before our big day. I wanted to make sure there were plenty of candid shots and while they’re not always the prettiest, they capture the moment perfectly and these are the memories I wanted. Luckily for us, they managed to even make the candid shots look incredible. I was a bundle of nerves on the morning and both Mark and Fiona made me feel so comfortable. They’re also absolutely hilarious, I would have spent the whole day chatting with them if I didn’t have to go and get married that afternoon :). After the wedding everyone commented on how “invisible ” the guys made themselves, there’s nothing worse than a photographer invading your personal space at a wedding but Mark and Fiona were the opposite. The Fennells. In a word, perfect ! We didn’t expect to get so much from them, but over and above the photography they really made the day. They worked so well with our hotel and other suppliers such as hair makeup and videography and were so fun and sound. They saw we hadn’t a clue what the flow was and just took over in a relaxed way that we just followed their lead and it meant so much to us! They got all the shots we asked for but the best surprise was seeing the photos they delivered that we hadn’t. We have so much footage of our guests and family from candid to formal. I can’t even begin to explain how grateful we are to Mark and a Fiona for many different reasons. Our wedding day was like a whirlwind kinda day and it was only when we looked at moments caught by The Fennells that we remembered lovely moments of the big day ( along with a few surprisest!). The day started off with getting ready and joking with the bridal party, all caught on camera and honestly we don’t remember these pics being taking! I do remember that my bridesmaids didn’t know how to close my dress properly and The Fennell’s stepped in and helped! In show biz they say never work with animals or children, well now I totally agree. The Fennells provided the photography and videography for our wedding on 25/10/21 in Faithlegg House Hotel. From the moment I read about them on weddingsonline, to looking at their portfolios online, it really was a no-brainer. Their work is incredible! Speaking to Mark really sealed the deal. He is so warm, professional, understanding and answered all of our (many!) questions. Throughout wedding planning in a pandemic, Mark and Fiona were so understanding of our date changes, and were as flexible as possible with rearranging a new date each time. On the day, their positive energy really added to the excitement of the whole day, they really kept the show on the road! Honestly, I felt like they were just two more friends who had joined the party! We received our photos and videos this week and I haven't stopped looking at them since. We are absolutely thrilled with them. We chose to do an engagement shoot with Mark before the wedding, and I would highly recommend doing this to all couples too as it taught us a lot about what to do and what not to do for our photos on the wedding day. (Top tip: Chatting too much while getting your photographs taken leads to funny facial expressions!! :-)) Honestly, I couldn't recommend Mark and Fiona highly enough to anyone looking for wedding photographers and videographers or indeed someone to capture any big event in your life. We can't thank them enough for documenting one of the happiest days of our lives so beautifully.
