Don't ever ask for advice if your camera breaks! €150 to send it to England for repair and that's before the work. That is all they ever offer, or to buy a new one obviously.

My charger wasn't working so I assumed it was my converter (American). The easiest solution I thought was just to buy a charger. The gentleman behind the counter confirmed it was the converter, and instead is selling me a charger for over £50 he walked me to a store a few doors down so I could purchase an appropriate adapter. Unbelievable level of kindness!
