An amazing little spot! Fab to visit on a sunny day to take advantage of the outdoor seating! Big menu with lots of choice and everything we had was delicious, you could tell it was fresh and prepared with care! Cannot recommend it enough!

Lovely setting beside the river Brosna. Would be lovely to sit out in the summer. Looks like its been recently refurbished. Nicely done in muted colours that makes an older building feel more modern yet warm. Service was good but not mega friendly. Mum thoroughly enjoyed roast turkey main course. My BLT was good with well toasted bread, crispy bacon and a good lick of mayo.

This restaurant has reopened under new management as the River restaurant. The menu is classic and varied. Best garlic mushrooms I have ever tasted, really tasty sea bass and fabulous desserts based on classics - I had light as a feather Riverstown mess. Loads of room and really covid conscious without losing the atmosphere. Service is friendly and quick. Our party left smiling planning to be back soon.

Only have 1 complaint about the place but it is a major one. I will compare every place I eat to Parker's, the food was so nice I was about to ask for a second helping of everything and a doggy bag to take away. The prawns were tasty and the cheesecake was beyond divine. Plenty of security on the door with some escaped chickens manning it, don't let them stop you going in though. 3course meal was cheap, with quality being higher than expected it made it better, expected to pay twice what we did pay. Will be coming back no doubt about it.

It was lovely. Carvery chef nice and friendly. Chips were a bit undercooked but still ate them. Cashier was delightful. Over all a pleasant lunch and reasonable.

Really beautiful lunch today - thoroughly enjoyed by all, including 2 toddlers! Cookie jar dessert is amazing! Cozy, clean, friendly venue... would recommend 👍🍰

Delicious meals, excellent service and friendly staff. Hearty portions of the main course, with family style potatoes and veggies served for all at the table. I attempt to have a meal there when ever I'm in Ireland.

My partner and I went to Parkers recently for a meal to celebrate his birthday. It was our first visit. The restaurant was quiet but it was Tuesday evening. We were very impressed with the atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was first class our waitress was excellent. We will definitely be going back.

Very slow service. It took ages to place an order and it wasn't even a full restaurant. My chips where not cooked enough very raw so I sent them back to be cooked properly and I never got them back. Found young waitress to be quite rude. The food wasn't anything to write home about. Apparently it is hit and miss with his place and we were probably just unfortunate to get them on a bad night as I have heard mixed reviews of parkers.

Food was fantastic and timely, service was excellent and staff were very welcoming and helpful. The waitress Viv was very helpful and accomodating throughout the meal. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area
