B. K.Very nice comfy spot with a great selection of pizzas and trendy decor. I had the mussels starter - it was delicious - and the monkfish main. The monkfish was delicious but the fries were skinny and dry. Service was absolutely excellent until our server went on break - then service stopped completely and getting the bill was a struggle, as was paying. Disappointing end after a great start.
V. P.Smaller than expected, which is a good thing. Nice atmosphere, rustic. Staff were super nice and so was the manager Shane. Bathrooms are located through a wardrobe which was very Narnia.
Most importantly the food was nice and tasty so no complaints here!

D. S.Great atmosphere. Very serene area right in front of the ocean. The Bray mountains and a short drive or walk away. The whole pier is full of other restaurants and eateries. It’s a must visit if you’re anywhere near Bray. Make sure to try the wings with Buffallo sauce

A. L.I and my family picked this restaurant randomly, just because my little daughter wanted pizza.
I'm a professional chef of over 27 years, so food quality always comes first, and this is a proper casual dining restaurant, with the cozy and roomy environment. A modern opened kitchen with stone pizza ovens set in the middle of the floor, everyone can see the performances of the hard working chefs (couldn't see the other side, I guess 3 chefs were on duty?). Tables aren't too close to each other which I liked this the most as a customer of view, it gave enough privacy to the diners.
Staffs were friendly and quite pretty, we got the table within 1 minute from the time we walked in. My little daughter had the kid set menu which included a starter, a drink, a main course with a few choices to choose from, and a dessert. My wife chose a pulled pork pizza, and I'd certainly chose the seafood linguine, because it was the easiest way to test the chef's cooking technique.
The foods arrived within 15 to 20 reasonable waiting minutes, my first bite was the mussel, then the linguine, followed by the prawn, and then the squid at last. All the seafood were beautifully cooked, not chewy or gummy. The pasta was al dente with the perfect seasoning, and not much cooking liquid from the pasta. It was just moist perfectly! The pizza crusts were thin, crispy but not hard. The pizza sauce was balanced, and the ingredients weren't overcooked at all.
We haven't had a high food quality dinning out experience like this for 2 years. My heart was smiling, while my mouth was busy to chew, and my palette was enjoying the flavour......ahh...... thank you chefs! The bill with all the quality&quantity foods, and 2 cups of cappuccino for €51 is a slam bargain to me.
However, there was a small criticism to the floor staffs, and to the chefs from a chef point of view.
Firstly, floor staffs are young, pretty and friendly, but why would most of them wore such a short blouse/ jumper/ top, and exposed their abdominal body part was puzzling me and my wife. Also, their jewellery (oversized earrings, bracelets, rings, facial piercing), nail varnish and gel nails weren't complied to the health and safety standards, and to the professional image as well.
Secondly, in many occasions, the girls were chatting a lot, but nobody come to our table for the follow up in our 90 minutes visit which proved the service is on the weak side. Yes, one of you had the birthday because I could overheard your conversations from a distance...... I hope the management/ owner will take this more serious, and set a higher standard to this.
Mean while, there was a lack of communication between the two chefs at the pizza side, and to the pass as well. One chef was too busy to handle most of the pizza, the other one perhaps should show some concern and offer a bit of help. Both of them failed to signal each other when handling hot food from behind someone's back, or operated the oven door. I hope they would take safety into the account and improve this asap. Safety always comes first! The floor staff was waiting for food patiently at the pass, but none of the chef from the entire kitchen walk up and communicate. This indicated the lack of leadership to me, someone must take control and cooperate with the front at the pass, otherwise, the people who will suffer are the diners. I'm saying this just because this restaurant should deserve a big success, and no star rating is dropped from my review. At last and of course, I'll return for food if I go to Bray again!
O. E.Wow. Just wow. The best pizza and the best service we had for a while. Must have is the Punjabi chicken tikka pizza (just amazing). The margarita pizza is very solid. The sweet potato fries is the best we had in a long time. Overall 10 out of 10. They have a kids menu which we appreciated very much. Also the chicken in the punjabi piazza is halal.

I'd recommend the boneless chicken wings, lasagne and montepultiano wine! The facilities are a special treat also let's just say it's a magic door when on way to the toilet..really cute touch to the place!! Location is perfect in bray and right on the seafront so very close to the Dart!

If you are going for a meal here I would recommend sitting in the outdoor area as you can order from both platform and box burger, don't worry about the winter months their heaters will have you feeling tropical. Astounding as a vegan or a meat eater. This spot is being run run by people who clearly really really care about what they are doing.

o. s.I love going here, as everything is always a really good standard. The decor is quirky and there's a nice candle lit at each table. I created my own pizza and it was very good however because of the way their pricing is done I paid 20 for my pizza that consisted of 6 toppings, in total but 5 of them were simply veg. I ordered calamari and prawns which were delicious. This was close to 5 stars for me, because the service was good and our food was out in 5-10 minutes which was incredibly quick. However the price I got charged for my 90% vegetable pizza wasn't great , even though I did enjoy it. I also don't like the way they use towel napkins instead of paper napkins, but this is only a minor problem. I would definitely come back again for sure
S. 1.I’ve eaten with my family and with my friends in Platform Pizza many times now. The food is always great, the atmosphere buzzy and the waiting staff are always very friendly and accommodating. The best thing for me is though that the staff go out of their way to make the kids feel welcome. Really recommend Platform Pizza for a restaurant where the kids love but also the adults wouldn't hesitate to go to too!
C. v. d. L.Great food in a warm atmosphere. Platform has quirky decor in a rustic setting. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They cater to gluten free diets and it's not too expensive. This is one of my favorite restaurants. It's very popular so I suggest making a reservation.

B. N.One of our favourite places. Me and my daughter are gluten and dairy intolerants so eating out is a constant struggle for us. Usually restaurants don't like these "problematic" customers like us. The staff at the Platform was absolutely brilliant though. We had a gluten and dairy free pizza there and it was great. My daughter even got some ice cream for free which I realized after we came out so I couldn't thank it. We are sold for life. Definitely will be back as many times as we can although we live in Carlow. Thanks for making us this experience memorable.
I. K.I've been several times and they really do make a great pizza. There is a nice atmosphere and it's a pleasant place to eat. Their deserts can be hit and miss at times, one time I had a lovely fudge cake but a few weeks later it tasted as if it wasn't properly baked. On the whole though it's well worth a visit!
G. D.I like this place for family meals. It's priced well and the food is pretty good. Some nice options for salads as well as the usual pizza and wings type of offerings. Location is good, behind the dart station in bray. There is parking available as well. Staff are very friendly and efficient. I've been there 5 or 6 times and haven't had a bad experience yet.
S. Z.We have dined here as a family many times, and usually find a laid back atmosphere and a menu that is very good value for money.
Unfortunately the standard of food appears to be dropping. Previously the pizzas were apparently hand pulled dough, with a light thin base, irregular shape and an abundance of tasty toppings.
Today the pizza we were served were baked in a tin, taking away a bit of the charm, and were much thicker and 'doughier' than before. The toppings were bland and uninteresting.
All in, a bit of a shame as this place used to be top of the list in bray for a family meal, we would now consider other options before returning.

T. K.A friend of mine took me and her daughter to this special place. Pavel, the cook had us sit near the open kitchen and came out to welcome us. I had a burger and it was AWESOME! It wasn't too dry and it was smothered in really tasty cheese! The skinny chips were perfect and the hostess let us use a section of the restaurant and assigned a server just to us! I LOVE HAMBURGERS and this was a great burger place. The price was reasonable, as well. I'm going back here really soon!
D. T.I think platform pizza is a great place to, you have great pizza and there is also drinks and cocktails readily available! It's not an upscale restaurant by any means, yet is offers good food, nice decor the staff are very kind and if you don't like any of the preset pizzas you can ask for any topping you like! I have been here several times, and have enjoyed it each time!

K.It's not often I take the time to post a review of a restaurant (I've actually never done it before) but I just have to in this case. The food here is superb - the dish I had (Royal Oyster Mushroom Flatbread with feta cheese, pesto and spinach) was one of the best I have ever had anywhere in my life! I also tried the garlic pizza bread (lovely, baked to perfection, light but wholesome) and had a couple of slices of the tomato and cheese pizza (very nice). The prices were reasonable, the menu very clear and easy to navigate, the staff very warm and friendly, the music refreshingly-different (a steady stream of funk-driven tunes, none of your standard mainstream radio fluff) and the building itself was well-heated and with a good atmosphere. All in all a terrific restaurant, check it out

The service was mixed when I visited as the staff were very friendly and helpful and were very accommodating to the needs of the 3 young children in my group, however they forgot to make my pizza and it was only after the rest of my party had been served and I waited a few minutes that they realised this, however in fairness they did remove my pizza from the bill in the end so it made up for it

I was given the wrong pizza but didn't mind as it had more meat on it, but the fries were definitely not parmesan... pizza was nice but lacked standard flavour I thought. I found I had to put a fair bit of salt, pepper and chilli flakes on. I was disappointed that there were no flavoured oils set on the table for a pizzeria. Service was good, waiter gave us more time to order as we couldn't decide - menu looked so good!

J. G.Myself, wife and 5 children have just moved to Dublin. We decided to go to Bray for the weekend and do the 7 km Cliff walk which was just the exercise the kids needed. 14km in toal. Kids 5,8,and 10 so they felt it at the end as did we. Anyway, as a treat we said we would take them out for meal. They wanted Pizza, so I searched on nearest Pizza Parlour to current location on Windows Cortana on Nokia Phone. It had this at top of list. So we headed off to find it. When we went in it was Chocca-Block. However, the speed at which they were turning over tables was incredibly efficient and the Italian Host (who was a pro) said they would fit us in. We were over the moon due to the ambience feeling very Italian Authentic and had a great atmosphere. The food was excellent. The beers were lovely. Yes - against my better judgement I tried two local high hop beers. I have to say they were great quality. Kids loved there Pizzas as they didn't skimp on toppings and they tasted incredibly authentic and fresh. You can't go wrong here...seriously. Staff were typically Irish/Italian mix helpful - very professional. Oh - and the coffee for the big mug I had of it was good quality with good body.

You can have boneless chicken wings, pizzas, salads etc. I recommend the pancetta, walnuts, rocket pizza or the pancetta salad! There are vegetable options as well. The staff are good, sometimes a little slow. But we have great service from one girl Charlotte who is always so lovely and knows a lot of info about Bray. It can be a little dark but that's the atmosphere. You have to go through a wardrobe to get to the bathrooms!! So so cool! Try their cocktails or gin! I always go for 'Bré Bré'. You'll see that the theme is connected to the Bray train station behind them if you're a local. Would 100% recommend people trying this place if they're in the area.

It was quite busy on a sunny May Monday evening but we were able to get a table for four nevertheless. The antipasti arrived before the drinks and that was good because we were feeling a little peckish.
Would love to see more gorgonzola options.
The Narnia closet to the bathroom was very creative touch to the décor, I have not seen something like that before :)
