This is our favorite Indian restaurant. It has been more than 7 years since we came to Cork. This is not fast food, a queue of more than 90 minutes is very reasonable when the restaurant has a lot of orders. In addition, if the food is carefully prepared, no one can quickly complete all orders when they are busy. The 2 star review below is rude. You can dislike it, but your comments and statements can only make you feel ignorant and rude. You should return to the fast food that suits you.

Probably the best Indian Restaurant in Cork - First time eating in after all those takeaways , and it did not disappoint
Authentic Indian spices and nicely served by very attentive and helpful staff
Recommended !

Loved the food! Very tasty. Got the chilli chicken and the achari chicken curries. Both delicious. Friendly staff. Would go again
R. K.
One of the best. Though it has very less options for vegitarians both in main and starters the items ordered were fantastic. Service was very good. Reservation is must as this is a small place and has very limited seating. Dal haveli and haveli starter platter is must try

Beautiful food and the staff are really good at helping you pick the right dish for the very large menu....highly recommend this place 👌
V. M.
Great menu, staff are very helpful and nice eventhough it's always really busy. I've only eaten take out but never disappointed, good size portions and staff at hand to answer any questions. I'd advise to order well in advance. Probably the best Indian restaurant in the area.

Aloo prata:9/10
onion kulcha:8/10
Chicken tikka masala:7/10
Indian Coffee:7/10
The food portion is good
The Indian breads are soft and fresh, kulcha was a bit too much buttery.
Curry was quite good but the chicken has the frozen meat taste may be due to lack of marination.
R. s.
The taste of food was but price is high. Restaurant ambiance is nice and service is average
N. S.
Great Starters, Good Staff/Ambience but average Main Course(meat was well cooked - very tender) Ordered: Chole, Chicken Bhuna, Rara Gosht
R.
Great food, friendly helpful service, nice music and atmosphere, wish more healthy vegetarian options 😀

Probably my favourite Indian in Cork.
Naan is excellent quality and dishes are fresh. Looking forward to eating there again in person.

The best Indian restaurant in Cork and I suspect one of the best on the island of Ireland. I have eaten there many times and the food and service has always been excellent. I have recommended Haveli to many people.

The place looked lovely when we first arrived we were seated fast and our waitress was lovely. Our starters were all delicious very pleased. But then they got very busy so our mains took a very long time, and when it arrived wasn't as nice as expected after the starter. And once we had finally gotten our mains we were being rushed to leave to give our table to people waiting. So in all it was okay 👌 but If I'm ever there again I'd rather go when it's quiet so that I can enjoy my food :)

The best Indian food experience in Ireland. Carefully and skilfully cooked meals, that leave you with the satisfied taste buds. The portions are generous, the food is so good, that I find it impossible to leave anything behind. The place is spotless, service is very friendly and professional. Highly recommended to a true Indian food conniseur.
J. D.
The best proper Indian restaurant in Cork without a doubt. Always busy so do check before. Food is not hot but is full of spicy flavour and perfectly cooked. There are dishes that you will not find elsewhere. Service is prompt and polite. Really could not ask for better
C. O. c.
Haveli is indeed an excellent restaurant .I see how hard the owners work. However they have become a victim of their own success. It has now become very difficult to do business with them . The phone is constantly engaged and doesn’t have an adequate recorded message. They don’t have an ordering app. They don’t do deliveries anymore even though a lot of people would be happy to pay Deliveroo to do so. If you do manage to get through you could be facing a wait of a few hours on weekends. Maybe Haveli are happy with the business they are doing but they could be twice as busy if they put the systems and staff in place to deal with the extra demand.
S. A. S.
nice ambiance with good quality food perfect combination and try their prawns as appetizer:)

Went here for first time because it came up with the highest rating for Indian food in Cork City.
It was a disappointment on many levels!
Take away for two people and I was there when restaurant opened. Was told food would take 25 to 30min because chefs had to get kitchen ready! Chefs should have been there an hour or more before restaurant opened! Owners fault, not chefs!
Food was dry, with a white sauce that was like something that you would buy in a supermarket. The dish itself had no vegetables even though every other restaurant makes it with vegetables and when googled all answers with vegetables in ingredients. Chicken was dry, sauce was terrible, meal itself best described as boring for what should be a treat at my weekend. Was like how an Irish person (I'm Irish) "had a go" at Indian cooking! Very disappointing and wouldn't be in a hurry to go back. Gets 3 stars simply on the cost which was reasonably cheap.
R. N.
First time ever eating here, got a take away, was a bit of a wait but well worth it! Never trust a take away that gets turned out fast. Staff were super friendly couldn’t recommend them enough
Thanks again,
Rob

The food is exceptionally well done and very flavorful. Not usually spicy, so don't be deterred if you can't eat very spicy foods. (Some dishes are though if you like heat)
The reason I knock a star off is that frequently if we get the rest of our food to go after we've dined in, they will not pack all of it, which is really, really obnoxious considering the food is not cheap and I want to eat what I paid for. :(
M. M.
Fantastic food and info on tastes and flavors.
F. O.
Ordered a take away here a few months back. It was very tasty and the staff were friendly. Will definitely be returning!!
R. F.
Delicious curry dishes with freshly cooked ingredients. Texture of the chicken and lamb were perfect. Staff were very friendly and accommodating when we arrived without a booking. However, I feel the prices are a bit expensive so I couldn't give 5 stars.

The Indian restaurant that made me like Indian food!
The food here is incredible! The garlic, chilli's etc. don't see the chopping board until you've actually ordered the dish - everything is made to order and super duper fresh! You can definitely taste the difference!
They have a great selection of curries and other dishes for people with a strong palate or a slightly more timid one. The variety makes this place a great option for families or big groups.
The staff are wonderful and always ready to help you out with recommendations!
Definitely a must try if you're in Cork!

This is one of my favourite Indian restaurants
L. M. Q.
Absolutely fabulous food, the best indian ever
N.
Great restaurant altogether! Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing, the garlic naan bread was by far the best I have ever have! Great portions, had enough to be able to take some home and enjoy it all over again the next day. Can't wait to visit Cork and eat here again!
D. R.
A delightful little restaurant which have great food complimented by great staff. The price for the food reflected the quality of the food and service. The food is cooked fresh and you choose the hot level of your food. I recommend you to try this Indian restaurant but please book first as walk ins during the evening on most nights will be turned away or given a time to come back. Have a great evening.
N. D.
Mixed review. Food was excellent. However there were teens wandering in and out of kitchen without PPE. Just given the context we are currently living in, more care needs to be taken.
E. D.
You won't beat Havelli for pure food quality - Indian or otherwise. The heat in every dish can be tailored to your tastes. The restaurant is run impeccably. This is simply Indian food for gourmets. The staff are friendly and accomodating. Just note that it can take a little longer than expected for mains to arrive. They explained that this is because most meals are cooked from scratch. The starter tasting menu for two shouldn't be missed. It's seven (I think) superb tasting starters to share. Also almost the entire menu is gluten free. Just try it - you won't be disappointed.
E. D.
For taste this is one of the best restaurants in Cork and almost 100% gluten free.
K. C.
10/10 every time. We order from here nearly every Sunday evening and have yet to be disappointed. Usually go for the Madras or the Bhuna
J. M.
The food was amazing we took recommendations from the excellent friendly Sandeep and we were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed by the friendly staff and despite the busy restaurant food was prompt and staff very helpful. 5star service, great food and wine We can’t wait to go back. Had to wait but sooo glad we did, sat in a lovely pub and the restaurant called us when the table was ready. Wonderful waiter helped us with our choice of food which turned out fabulous would highly recommend for service, food and atmosphere. Will certainly call in again if we are ever back in Cork.

I had an excellent experience at Haveli. The service was outstanding. The host welcomed us to the restaurant (something that doesn't happen often these days), and asked us if it was our first time to the restaurant offering to explain the menu to us.
The food was delicious, I had vegetable samosas to begin, along with potatoes in a spiced tomato sauce (sarson ka aloo) and rice.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
S. D.
Quality of food consistently high: depth of flavours incredible. Have not had a mediocre dish here.

This place is really quite amazing, a real step up from other Indian places I've eaten at around cork. Their menu covers a broad selection of foods from different parts of India, and with lots of great veggie options too. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the food itself is stellar. Definitely the place to go for Indian in cork!
S. V.
A friend and I headed to Haveli after doing a Tripadvisor search for nearby restaurants. With a #2 rating from all of the Cork eateries this was an easy choice.
I’m very pleased to say this, their place is well earned.
The restaurant makes reference to its focus on flavour and we weren’t disappointed, lovely food and good sized portions.
One thing to note, when you look through the menu you will probably not recognise any of the dishes. If you are looking for a more north west Europe set of choices, ask for the takeaway menu on here you’ll fine all of the ‘standards’
Staff were attentive, helpful and polite.
Highly recommended.

Had to wait but sooo glad we did, sat in a lovely pub and the restaurant called us when the table was ready. Wonderful waiter helped us with our choice of food which turned out fabulous would highly recommend for service, food and atmosphere. Will certainly call in again if we are ever back in Cork.

Not bad but the vindaloo didn't have any kick at all. Also you'd think with a 50 min wait time for take out they'd add in a few papadum's. Food was tasty though.
l. l.
I can honestly say this one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to! I have currys at home on a weekly basis and where I come from (Bradford - west yorkshire) is know for its currys, but this place is definitely in my top 3! The customer service and the slightly unique way they operate means you get the exact taste and spice you are after! Loved it.....
A. D.
Amazing food and very friendly staff. I'm a huge fan of vegetarian samosas and this restaurant has the best I've ever had. Only problem with this place is that the food is so good you'll end up addicted to it!
N. D.
The food was good and also, I was amazed by the high quality of the service. I went there as part of a group of 8 people, and the waitress took the time to advise us about the different dishes we were looking at to ensure that we order one that will satisfy us. Really good service !!!!
M. K.
Beautiful meal and excellent service. One waiter in particular had great attention to detail and knowledge of the menu. Great flavoursome meal from start to finish

I am an Indian foodie. And food here , especially Tandoori Chicken ,is by far the best I have eaten anywhere outside India. I have eaten in Dubai , London , Dublin etc... For that matter T-chicken tastes a lot better than a lot of Places in India. The best part is , they don't use irritating food colors (in none of the dishes) .Biryani is a bit let down though. But again far better than any place in Cork or in Ireland. The place is small but well looked after and the staff are very pleasing.
Have been there about 20 times in 2 yrs.
C. M. G.
The food was superb! Everyone loved their meal! The service was prompt and very friendly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Truly an enjoyable evening and would recommend to anyone!
C. B.
Great food. Lovely atmosphere. Would go again, minus the kids next time. Everything is made from scratch so don't go if you are already "hangry" :0) It was worth the wait though.
E. 6.
Tandoori chicken was moist and succulent. Vindaloo (toned down on our request) lamb tender and well flavoured. Accompanied with Garlic Naan (big piece) and Pulao Rice (rice perfectly cooked). Very satisfied, a bit too much food (could have done without the rice and Naan bread was big portion). Definitely recommended a must try for those looking for genuine delicious Indian food.
A. F. K.
Best in Cork when it comes to Indian cuisine. However, options are less in drinks menu, an offbeat. Overall, delicious food is served with good service!
P. H.
Very good. Best indian I've had in Cork but takeaway order wait times are too long. One hour?
C. M.
If you don't like Indian food it's because you haven't eaten here yet. Eat here. Delicious food, casual atmosphere, friendly staff and quick service
B. H.
Outstanding restaurant. From the minute you walk in the door uou are made to feel like the most iimportant people in the room. The staff are wonderful, the food is wonderful. All in all a wonderful experience.

D. L.
Definitely worth letting the owners guide you in your selections. They're extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Delicious food
M. O. C.

Absolutely love this place, we don’t even live anywhere near it but still drive down for dinner. Naan bread is out of this world and the staff is brilliant!
S. S.
Gorgeous food - so fresh and full of flavour. Best Indian in Ireland!

The food was amazing! We ordered the tandoori chicken, which reminded me of India and the prawn masala was delicious.
S. C. C.

Arguably the best Indian restaurant in Cork, and possibly outside Dublin. Bold claims I know but Haveli's curries are world beaters!

I'm in love with lamb biryani. This is the best restaurant in Douglas, and the best Indian in Cork.
A. M.
Good food, large portion sizes. only problem is the place is too small for dine in. Has very small number of tables.
R. B.
Outstanding food by a chef who really cares about his ingredients. Worth a detour if you're driving from Dublin to Belfast.

Really nice food, but they don't deliver to the city centre and are always so busy that sometimes you have to wait there for 45 minutes for food!
J. K.
Food was good not great but good , the restaurant seating was cramped and the table too small the décor wasn't typically Indian
P. W.
Over-rated. Staff friendly but overall a bit bland. Poor poppadoms. Didn't hate it, but I've had much better takeaways for less.
