It is good to see Bits and Pizzas has reopened. This time under new ownership. The menu is very similar to before, but the food is not yet as tasty as the original. Particularly tasty are the garlic mushrooms and chicken wings. Wine is reasonably priced. Staff are pleasant and helpful. A lot done, but more to do when it comes to the quality of some of the dishes.

Menu slightly limited! Nice pizza, desserts prepared in house, definitely value for money. Decor quite basic but otherwise clean. Staff members very attentive and look after clients at all times. I will go back!

Tried the pizza from Bits and Pizzas after all the hype and i have mixed feelings on how did I find it. To start with pizzas were not bad but definitely it was not the best i had. Quality of cheese on pizza was just like any American style pizza which didn’t suit the base I guess. Maybe pizza would have been a lot better if I was eating that in restaurant. I liked the tomato base as it was better than most of the places. I have to say that I am disappointed with the garlic bread. It tasted like something similar to the ones we get from Tesco. Readymade baguette slices with garlic butter spread. Definitely you guys can do better than this.

Great local pizzeria, they always have new inventive pizzas on the menu. Like the NY Buffalo pizza: celery, chicken, blue cheese and hot sauce! Probably one of the best pizzas on the planet, in my opinion! Staff are friendly and efficient. Also, you can see chef cooking your pizza right in front of you. The garlic mushrooms are amazing. Baked and covered in gooey cheese. The restaurant is still going strong after all these years, which is testament to its food and service. It's very family friendly. PS, my photo doesn't do the pizza the justice it deserves!

I always used to like coming here unfortunately I can't say the same for my recent visit. I had a pizza as did one of my friends. The pizza was very mediocre and over priced at €17.95! The desert was nice however as did I my friends also felt that the service wasn't good. They were pleasant but too busy so was hard to get their attention. We were informed that a lot of staff changes had been made since their reopening recently... Still very disappointing

The new rooftop dining area is well laid out. And the food was excellent. It misses out on 5 stars as some small details were missed. I asked for a topping to be taken off my pizza when ordering, but got it anyway ( I wasn't to bothered by that ) and we requested the kids food we ordered to be brought out first or with the starters and they were the last to get their meal. These minor things would not put me off returning to the restaurant.

Two separate experiences recently. Our first visit to the new rooftop area was 2nd July and went really well, they were busy but service & food was good and all 4 of us enjoyed it. Second visit was just myself and my husband on 2nd August and was completely different. Service was a bit hit and miss. I was served a 7inch pizza instead of the regular pizza I ordered. Then when it came time to pay we were charged for 4 pizzas (even though only 2 of us). Unfortunately this experience would put us off returning, pity :(

While good, this place is clearly not the masterpiece the local make you want to believe. Good pizzas but not the most amazing ones, not quite generous (3 shrimps for the starters, really?) and lack a bit of salt in either the dough or the tomato sauce. It's nice that they make them in front of you though!

Best pizza in Dunlaoghaire, for sure. Been there for years . I always go for the gorgeous fungi pizza with added sweet corn. Great that they also do a gluten free base if your looking for that option. Good drinks menu too and a very lovely chicken Caesar salad. Take away is also available.

Bits and pizzas serves great food. My family and I have been going here for years, and we have never had any problems. The staff are wonderful and friendly, there's great choice on the menu for all dietary requirements. They cater for small and large groups and the prices are very reasonable especially since the portions are lovely and big.... They also allow you to take home your leftover pizza slices!!

This is my favourite pizza ever. I love the fact that after more than 20 years the pizza's are still the same. You know you're getting the best. The place is comfortable and the staff are always friendly and helpful. If you haven't been yet its worth a visit.

Bits and Pizzas suffers from having been around to long. I actually found the pizza very dry recently, wings over cooked and the garlic bread seemed greasy. Lovely little placement for a restaurant just off the main street. The layout is quaint and the staff are almost always friendly.

Food is fantastic, and excellent service. They can be a bit slow when busy, but understandable. They do their best to rectify any mistakes - after an order of Pizzas stayed in the oven too long they comped all of our drinks. It's our favourite place to eat when we're in the area.

The best food I have tasted in washington. Made to order which is the best. Had a delivery last week and it was on time. Pizza absolutely lovely and kebab lovely and all hot. Been going to this place for over 10 years and have not been disappointed once. Friendly staff and amazing pizzas time and time again. The Baked Garlic Mushrooms are also very good.
