Sat outside at the back of the restaurant. Pizzas are really good. So is the wine. Great atmosphere with other diners and their dogs which are welcome. Fabulous evening and very happy to take the croissants offered for breakfast. 💖

The pizza wasn't for me, I just didn't like the cheese that they had instead of mozzarella. The base, sauce and presentation was lovely and the service was very friendly. The restaurant itself is bright and spacious with a welcoming vibe.
J. C.
Very friendly staff, tasty pastries and amazing pizzas. Recently tried their lunch and it was also very good.
Never had a chance to take a photo because I ate it all before I could think of it
M. E. R.
Very friendly staff, and quality food, we got nibbles, ham & mushrooms and chili & chorizo pizzas, and everything was very tasty. Recommended!
C. J.
Just to say guys I called in today and bought bread it was just beautiful and so fresh out of the oven. Its a lovely place and delighted to find it will be back soon, thanks Ryan,
G. O.
Proper pizza, baked in a wood fire oven with great quality toppings.
Only thing I'd change is I would season the tomato sauce a little more.
Otherwise a very good experience and I'll definitely be back as soon as possible.
K. P.
Awesome pizza, sourdough sandwiches and soups! Excellent service and very nice place!
N. J.
The soup, sourdough and salad are super fresh and delicious! And the place has a lovely outdoor terrace.
C. N.
Spacious, nice light and tables outside. Cafe but also restaurant. Unfortunately no gluten free options available so I didn't try any food.
Rare pearl because it's open until late and you can have a coffee or similar after 4pm.
K. T.
Cozy Café with Patio and very nice stuff. The environment is perfect but the coffee and the pizza must need to improve urgently. I will come back because of its kind team but not because its food. Keep on working guys and all the best.
E. P.
Amazing food, amazing coffee, friendly staff and great service and Dog friendly
C. H.
Great pizza with excellent wine/beer choices. Very friendly staff. Good place for children. Lovely outside terrace at the back.
S. B.
Quality food, great prices, really relaxed atmosphere, child friendly
M. L.
French pizza / cafe with a nice backdrop. It was alright but I felt like the pizza was a bit of a miss from a flavour perspective
E. N.
Lovely soup and gorgeous bread, very tasty tea and cake. Also nice coffee. We'll come back after 4pm to try the pizzas!

This might be my favorite place in Ireland. The food is divine. From the perfectly sweet pastries... to the the savory & satisfying sandwiches & soup... to the utterly perfect pizzas. I’ve tried it all & I keep coming back.
The entire staff are an absolute joy to be around. They are just as warm & welcoming as their cafe.
If you do just one thing during your visit to Dublin - stopping in here is well worth your travel. You deserve to treat yourself to something special.
💚

Loved the Interior, the atmosphere, the staff, the food, and above all the music ! Very casual and chilled place to have lunch with family or friends! Enjoy
M. C.
I am a huge fan of this restaurant and their sister venture in Greystones. The pizza is incredible and great value for money. The owners Gilles and Emma are so passionate about food and service and this is incredibly obvious as soon as you enter the door. The bread is also beautiful. The starter of chili garlic bread is one of my obsessions. Would 100% recommend this restaurant for date night or a friend group, it’s always amazing.
A. T.
Having eaten there every week for last 7 months or so, I can say I have tried their entire Pizza menu. Their pizzas are thoughtfully crafted, with minimal and appropriate ingredients. The portion size is big enough to feed 2 not so hungry people. The prices too are easy on pocket. A special call out to really friendly staff.
K. C.
Fabulous pizza with a sourdough crust in the evening; get there early in the morning to grab one of their delicious sourdough loaves, warm from the oven.
S. d. B.
Fantastic local bakery, Their sourdough bread is the best I've every had. Always a bit of a stress to get it on a Saturday morning as it's so popular and they only do small batches but absolutely worth getting up early for! Their pizzas are also excellent.
J. J.
Very nice pizza. Good quality ingredients, hand made, with a good variety of pizza toppings and flavors to choose from. Drinks selection includes wine and beer, as well as lemonades.
I drop it a star as the prices are a bit on the more expensive side for pizza and a drink.
Also the seating is a bit "canteen" style benches without any cushions or back support. It is a "shabby chiq" styling but without essentials.....a nice seat to sit on.
If they dropped their pizza prices by a couple of Euro I could forgive the seating, but if you charge more, your customers will expect a bit more.
M. M.
Very nice pizza place in Dublin 8. Pizza choices are limited but what is on offer is very well made and tasty. They also do a selection of freshly baked breads, tea, coffee. Very few options for breakfast time which does let the place down. Nice open air seating out the back which is nice especially in summer.
T. D.
Being a sourdough connoisseur I've compared the G&G Sourdough to the Sourdough standard bearer that is Bread41.
G&G knocks it out of the park.
The coffee is superb too.
L. A.
My favourite restaurant in Dublin, the food is amazing (genuinely addicted to the mushroom, spinach and pine nut pizza) and the staff are so lovely. It's also such a gorgeous space, in winter it's super cosy and in summer the little back patio is the perfect hideaway to chill in the sun with great wine and food, couldn't recommend more!
J. W.
The pizza's here are insanely amazing. Loved the style of this restaurant. More casual in the ordering style but you go up and order at the till and it has no frills. It has a gorgeous earthy vibe and pizza's can be a mix of half and half of any style you want. I love this rustic pizza place. Cool people inside and cool people go there. Must try their spinach pine nut pizza. Devine. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Always a lovely place to visit. Cakes and coffee in the morning, lovely sandwiches from 12 o'clock on homemade bread and woodfire baked pizza in the evenings. The food is delicious, particularly the breads and pizza bases. Sourdough loafs are available to buy fresh from the oven and often sell out.
Definitely the best local place for a coffee and an easy recommendation for food at any time of the day.
E. J. D.
Wonderful sandwiches during the day, and really good pizza served at night. They use Emmental cheese always, I think, so it's a little different. They're happy to swap around pizza toppings for you also. You can buy loaves of bread here too, and it's the best bread in the city in my opinion. Lovely friendly staff too.
C. P.
Really delicious pizza using good quality foods. The 4 cheese is really tasty and the pizza dough very thin (love it). Good service too and you can even speak French as the owner is and really kind and easy to talk to! You can also come and order to take away.
K. C.
Love this place! Amazing pizzas, nice wines, and a lovely relaxed vibe. Staff are friendly and attentive, and it’s great for kids/families. They have a cute outdoor seating area too.
A. B.
Yet to try the pizza as I've only been at lunch time. But so far so good. The soup and sandwich combo is great for lunch and they make their own croissants.
P. R.
Very nice place and friendly staff. I've been there last night and the four cheese pizza was delicious. Will definitely go back.
J. W.
Really nice place! Great sandwiches and pastries and really friendly staff. Interior is very tasteful (a bit hipster style, but nicely made) and food a dream! Definitely back soon!
C. B.
Just had the most amazing take out sandwich here. This was a surprise as I didn't know they were open for lunch. The bread was their delicious sourdough and the chicken was free range cooked to some old French recipe. The chef explained the process involved 70 cloves of garlic and a big pot and lots of patience.
V. C.
I'm glad a special lady told me about this place but am wary to tell others. It's been our place since it opened. It also has a very well respected bar close by. *COUGH* There are no frills here just the best pizza there's been in Dublin for some time. I reccommend the one with meat and without mushrooms.
A. D.
French Pizza Shop.yes.. (4 cheese always) but beside that - the best bread in Dublin if you are lucky enough to get it. the crust. holy cat flaps. i am hooked. the pizza is magnificent. simple small menu but the best of the best of everything and they do half and half if you cant decide. big fan. lovely addition to the neighbourhood. Staff are particularly sound and a.hole factor is low; but that because nearly all of them are from greystones.
M. Á. G.
Great homemade pizzas! They are pretty different to any other pizzas I have had. The cheese and the tomato they use make pizzas special. I had the one with ham, mushrooms and olives.
Pain au chocolat at breakfast time also very good!
Looking forward to trying the cakes!
D. C.
Gorgeous breads, cakes, pastries & savoury treats. Small wine & grocery selection, lovely staff, a weekend highlight 😎
E. N.
Best bread in Dublin with no doubt. Flour from the pyrenees, Woodfire baked, delicious when still hot. They don't bake a lot of loaves so your better go early enough, people rush there everyday. Won't stay a gem very long.
P. M.
5 stars for lunches, salads are absolutely amazing, best bread in Dublin . Pizza not my style though.
L. C.
Went for the first time last week and have been there every day since. I now just have to wave and they know my coffee order. Speaking of the coffee it's the nicest blend of coffee in the world. The staff are lovely and are nice to have a chat with and their pan eu chocolates no words just beautiful! I wish I could give this place more than five stars!
N. F.
The Best sourdough in Dublin by far.The Staff are so welcoming and friendly it gives a great family and friends vibe to the place. If a Michelin star can be given to a bakery /pizzeria this should have it!
M. D.
Love this place. They cater to my needs for dairy free and offer lots of simple delicious lunch options. Very friendly. Nice atmosphere. I usually get the chicken and pomegranate salad.
K. F.
Amazing bread and pastries. Coffee is not quite as good as say Brother Hubbard or Two Pups but it's still nice. I haven't had their pizza but I heard it's very good
L. A. S.
Very earthy rustic dining experience with great pizzas, very tasty, thin base. Antipasti entree presented very well and tasted great.
Thoroughly enjoyable made better with great company.
S. C.
The loveliest pastries I've had in years. Excellent coffee. Lovely atmosphere. Great balance between being welcoming and giving you space.
T. S.
Pizza in the evening, bread and amazing croissants in the morning, for lunch they have the terrace in the back. The French style pizza (Emmental cheese) is something special!
J. M.
This new arrival in Dublin 8 certainly serves the best gourmet pizzas I have tasted in a while. I arrived late Saturday evening ordered two pizzas ,watched the Chef play 'air guitar' while making the two pizzas , had a gorgeous cup of coffee while I waited and watched a lot of happy customers sitting at tables tucking into to their divine pizzas, what's not to like , Bien venu to the neighbourhood
G. P.
Pizza FLAVOR is subjective. One person's "mmmmmm" is another person "yuck". So, I will leave that go. But pizza QUALITY is more quantifiable. I like what they are doing here, the pizza crust is a good quality, the toppings top-notch, and the creativity refreshing. We loved the Vibe of the place. Very quaint but Spartan, no pretention. They have a neat arrangement with the pub next door where I could get a nice pint and bring it back to the restaurant. I assume that it is also a BYOB for wine. Cool place, check it out.
R. S.
The vegetarian pizza is the best pizza in Dublin (and I'm not a vegetarian!)
b. b.
Was here for first time last night and had some amazingly delicious pizza. Lovely venue and very nice staff. Looking forward to visiting the next time I’m in Dublin
m. e. c. m.
Excellent coffee and bakery 😊😋
M. K.
Expensive and limited breakfast menu. They do pizza which was a surprise. Tea was lovely and everything was very cheerful.
Seemed like a nice place for meetings or working, less so for a casual chat.
D. B.
Perfect setting for a casual family gathering with a liitle of love spice. Many good vibrations. Sensual environment. Lots of gentle naughtiness :) children friendly so go ahead and explore your options :)
S. S.
Have only been for lunch but soup and sambos are consistently delish. Have heard great things about the pizza. Can’t wait to try.

Really lovely pizza with great selection of toppings. And if you can't make your mind up you can always do a half and half! It's more about the savoury here as deserts are small baked goods off the counter but to be honest the pizza is so big its unlikely a big desert is needed!
