Loved it !! Nice relaxing welcome. We had 2 beautiful pizza's, one was gluten free, both were lovely. Followed up with honeycomb cream slice, gluten free carrot cake and cappuccinos. Price was very reasonable considering the quality. Can't wait for next visit !

I visited Milano Dawson Street last weekend and I really recommend. I’m not vegan but I tried the vegan and gluten-free pizza, it was amazing. They have a lot of traditional, vegan and gluten-free pizzas options. The place is amazing and the staff are super professional and kind, especially the chef Thiago.

Amazing pizza! A great variety of vegan options! Definitely will gi back there!

Loved the ambience and atmosphere! Huge seating and the food are priced fairly. Just a little disappointed with the pesto pollo i ordered this time as the pasta was uncooked evenly, they changed it but i felt like they just microwaved the old one and added more cheese. We ended up not eating it. Must be an isolated case though. Have no picture for that one unfortunately.

This place offers a wide variety of wine, pizzas and some tasty pastas. Plenty of options for vegans as well. Milano also has a lovely ambience and huge seating capacity. The staff is friendly and welcoming and provides a surprisingly quick service.

first place i went indoor dining post-vaccine, calm atmosphere with great food and friendly staff!

I visited here today with my School to make our own Pizza and eat them! The pizza was very nice and the Cheese on them tasted very Mature. The staff were very nice and gave us suggestions for what to put on our Pizza. The place was also much cleaner than most Restuarants that I visited in Ireland. I would definitely be coming back here again!

Popped into Milano’s Dawson St for a pizza and glass of wine, got seats outside in the unusual heat, well socially distanced from the other diners. The waiter (Tall, blond lad) was so accommodating, friendly and efficient. Bruschetta was delicious, shared pepperoni pizza fab! He remembered everything we asked for, ice, different oils etc, great to not have to ask again and again. Great service and great food on a sunny Friday in Dublin City, thank you 😊

A wonderful place! in you are in mood for pizza you must go here. Hot, fresh and delicious. Great service and the atmosphere was amazing. The decor is sophisticated yet relaxing. I was in jeans / my daytime touring clothes and I felt completely comfortable. Full of locals and I'm sure some tourists. I loved this place and highly recommend it.

Good food and surprisingly quick service when I needed it. Lots more tables than you would think from the outside. Wine served by the glass in 3 different sizes which is a great idea. Looking forward to my next visit; I would strongly recommend.

Wasn't too impressed with here tbh lots of staff but didn't have a "wow" factor of service . Staff seemed like a lot of bored students wishing they were somewhere else. Food was edible. Mine tasted like Batchelors pasta n sauce. And portions not the biggest. Only redeeming factor was the gluten free chocolate brownie dessert. It was very rich and filled the belly. Definitely not worth the money tho. Almost €100 for 3 people. No starters and only two drinks. I wouldn't recommend it. And if it is a chain ... I shouldn't have been surprised.

Mediocre and overpriced pizza and pasta. The pizza menu is pretty limited unless you're in the mood for ridiculously oily pepperoni or a half hearted attempt at a vegetarian option. Ordering a margherita with some different toppings makes the pizza so expensive it's not worth it. It's saving grace is that it is kid friendly, they have a reasonably priced kids menu and give out colouring pencils to keep them occupied.

Good restaurant, very spacious with large tables. At some tables you can have a lots of privacy. Great pizza, especially a choice between classic dough and thin crusted romana style pizza. UPDATE: Went for another meal, this time we had cannelloni and risotto with mixed salad. Salad wasn't salty at all and no salt on the table so we asked for it. But risotto had too much pepper, so we exchanged meals among ourselves, even I who can stand a bit spicy food wasn't satisfied with that risotto. Pepper was on the table though. I recommend to cooks to be careful with spices, cause not everyone likes spicy food. Its easier to spice it up if someone wants it then to ruin the meal. Still like the restaurant very much, and often go there.

Very good thin-crust pizza, salads, and a young, enthusiastic waitstaff. We would go there again. It's a busy place, so allow for possible short wait for a table. And directly across the street, a former synagogue....hidden behind the trees..

We were with a large group of people, so we asked for 4 of us to be put on a separate bill to make paying easier. We were told no we can split the bill at the end. When the time came, they wouldn't let us split the bill. The menu said a pizza came with tomatoes, and the waiter confirmed this, so my friend asked for no tomatoes and he took that to mean that she wanted no sauce on her pizza. A misunderstanding would have been ok, but she did clarify which makes it unacceptable. Service was really not great that Evening.

Unfortunately we are only getting around to writing this review now and we do apologise. On Friday 25th of August my mam, my sister and I decided to go for some afternoon drinks in cafe en seine. Given Milanos is always our first choice for pizza's and wine and it was right next door, we thought it would be rude not to pop in. Upon our arrival we were seated almost immediately, our orders were taken and our drinks had arrived swiftly. However, shortly before our food was served we received a phone call from home with some very bad news and had to leave the restaurant at once. I approached our waitress and explained the situation as we were more than a little embarrassed having to leave all the food which was now plated and ready to be served. However we couldn't be more grateful for what happened next. Our waitress explained to the manager what had happened and she boxed up all the food which we had ordered so as we could take it home and refused to take payment. We had only a 20 euro note in cash on us which we tried to give the waitress as a tip and she would not accept. In our panicked state your staff truley made our situation a little easier to bear and we could not thank you enough. I'm unsure of the waitress and managers name unfortunately but they both had dark hair and customer service standards that we are still praising to this day. Thank you again and we do hope that on our next visit you will accept our generous tip.

I was here with my work colleagues. The food was nice however I needed to leave early and the staff wouldn't let us pay separately. Since we were all paying separately we needed to collect money from each other and figure out the change. It was very inflexible and simply lazy! Many places accommodate customers. I see no reason why Milanos is an exception like that.

As with all Milano's, this is a fairly standard experience. If you know of Pizza Express in the UK, this is the same chain. Garlic dough balls are worth going for as a starter. Be warned that the Leggera pizzas basically have a big ring of dough cut out of the centre and salad in its place - not the most filling! I always go for the Romana style base - super thin and crispy. Probably not my top recommendation for city centre dining but wouldn't discourage it.

Interesting place to go with kids. They'll get a chef hat, coloring pencils, and their menu includes at the end a "Bambinoccino", which is a special "coffee" for them, they love it. It also helps that the food for their parents is also very nice.
