The pizza was perfectly delivered in the respect of my annotations. And the deliver man was polite and professional. Concerning the Pizza, the dough was fresh, thin and slight. The cheese was real cheese and not some industrial stuff. I enjoyed my meal and I’ll definitely order again.

Absolutely delicious. Everything tasted so fresh and tasty. We had the frutti di mare pizza which was so cheesy and good and the beef burger. They made the bun for the burger in the wood fire oven and everything was amazing. Also the staff were very friendly and helpful

Gorgeous atmospheric little pizza restaurant .. quick service, awesome pizza, thin crust very tasty. I ordered 15" Hawaiian and each slice was divine. I didn't feel stodgy or bloated like I do with other pizzas because these pizza are not doughy or sticky Also the Guinness on tap is top.notch, was amazed at the quality of pint.Waitress was very friendly and attentive .A real llittle gem of a place .

Really enjoyed our meal here at Rua. We tried out one of their starter's and two of their pizzas. Have to say it was fantastic. One of the best I've tasted on the Northside of the city. Up there with The Yarn and independent pizza.Not to pricey either. Do a good takeaway meal deal too off their website. The had no wine license yet but could bring your own bottle and Tesco's only across the road very handy. The staff where super friendly. Will definitely be back.

Finally a great Pizza place in Dublin 7. Gone are the days of being stuck with the slop that Dominos and Four Star have to offer. I only have experience with delivery from Rua, but the menu is really nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Will be using this place as my ‘go to’ pizza place from now on.

First time in Rua and it didn't disappoint!!! It truly lives up to the expectations. We had the Mare Monti pizza with prawns and the Quattro Formagi (4 cheese) *still drooling*. We had a glass of wine and a birra moreti. Please guys, if you go there GET THE BROWNIE FOR DESSERT! Thank me later!

SECOND TIME January 2022 After 2 years, we went again to Rua Woodfired, the quality still the same. The staff was very friendly, the food tasty as always and the best part? The prices STILL very competitive! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! FIRST TIME 2019 Well, we were looking for a place to eat around the area and we found Rua Woodfired Pizza, I cannot complain at all, it was delicious and cheap. We ordered 3 pizza + 2 drinks, the total was 37.5€ and the quality was A+. Very friendly staff and the local was very cosy. Highly recommended.

Rua's pizza and their chicken tenders are exceptional. We normally order the hellfire with extra toppings and sticky bbq chicken tenders and from a taste perspective it cannot be beaten. The reason I have down rated it though is the inconsistency of getting what you ordered. Last time we got a margherita pizza (which should have been a hellfire) with extra toppings which was a disappointment given we ordered plenty of extra cheese already, ha ha. Often the chicken tenders come with a scanty amount of sauce or indeed the wrong sauce. They are still very nice but ultimately disappointing given how good it is when they get it right. The dip has not been given on a few occasions too. 60% of the time the order is correct and the quality of that 60% makes myself and my partner regular customers. I really just wish we could guaranteed a high level of consistency of product. When the order is right, Rua are the best takeaway food restaurant. When it isn't, it's still okay.

Great pizza, nice thin base, fast delivery! Salads are also very good. Got pizza delivered and complained it was really cold on delivery and they could not have been nicer. They resent the delivery pipping hot with cake to say sorry. I order from them every week

Nice local option. 4 of us sat in last Saturday. Very relaxed and pizzas and pastas very nice. The 2 kids enjoyed it. Also they have beer on draft or can have wine. Will definitely be back.

Such a great pizza I had last Sunday. Booked a table for me and my girlfriend.. She had pasta with prawns and chicken, I had the Bianca pizza which was unreal... Definitely will come back, the staff is very friendly

The pizza was very nice and tasted great. The wings however were not good at all. I got the food for take away. The wings were "buffalo" flavor however there was next to no sauce on them. And they really don't travel well, when I got them home they were a soggy sweaty mess on account of being in a sealed plastic container. I guess I'll just stick to the pizza in future!

Phibsborough has a wonderful village-like feel, and Rua fits in well. It sounds weird but I don't care for restaurants where you, as a diner, are too visible from the street - especially if you are dining by yourself - so Rua's seating, right in the heart of the restaurant, appealed to me. The service was fantastic and the pizza I had was wonderful but on the evening I was there, I found it a little chilly. I wasn't staying long, so I didn't say anything but I remember thinking I was too cold to take off my jacket. I can understand how, in a busy restaurant, the staff might be so busy that they wouldn't feel the cold but the customers, sitting down & not moving around, would have a different experience of the ambient temperature. Anyway, that was my only negative issue. Great pizza, fantastic addition to Phibsborough!

The pizza game in Dublin is strong and unfortunately this place falls a little short. Pizza just feels like it's lacking, not very strong unfortunately. Pros - nice looking place - great chicken wings - friendly staff Cons - lack of fresh mozzarella - pizza dough was lifeless and dry (I expected an airy, tasty dough) - craft beer on the menu but not available

It’s good enough pizza. 3.5 would be more accurate but it definitely doesn’t warrant 4 stars. Having tasted a lot of pizza around Dublin recently out of different “recommended” takeaway restaurants I tried this one after it appeared on my Instagram flaunting their banoffee pie. The pizza is quite bland, and fairly standard. It’s nothing special, doesn’t stand out from any other pizza place. I created my own 9.5 inch, got a cheesy garlic bread, and a very small piece of banoffee pie to share with my partner and the delivery all came to €36 which I felt was expensive. The banoffee pie - despite being plastered all over their social media, is quite poor. The thinnest biscuit base, with basically all cream on top, the odd slice of banana thrown in. The cheesy garlic bread which was recommended by another reviewer, was just pizza base with melted cheese and far too much garlic oil. The entire cheese topping slid off the top of the bread, and the garlic was dripping from it.
