i. K.Delicious pizza and great staff. We’ve tried chorizo & funghi bianca, both pizza’s were absolutely delicious! Full of flavour dough and generous amount of toppings. Garlic aioli dip was really really good too. Even though the place was really busy the staff were super polite and friendly. Highly recommend!

A. A.Delicious pizza at the food truck in front of Bernard Shaw (Drumcondra)! The dough is authentic napolitean and quite wet. The sauce absolutely delicious and the best part is their fermented black olives! The waiting times can be quite long during the evenings, but I highly recommend this place if you have some patience. Comparable to Dublin pizza company quality.

The guys are very nice and in addition to the regular menu of 6 pizzas (including some vegan ones) they do some delicious special ones from time to time. Make sure you check their insta before going as they are in the Belfry only few weeks per months.

It’s the absolute best pizza I’ve ever had. Fresh ingredients and even real black olives! It’s amazing. So much, in fact, that it inspired me to tell the people working at the kiosk at Bernard Shaw what a great job they did... they did not give a s***! Lol. Guy in front didnt even look up at me and the woman making the pizza just stared at me like.... can you leave please? They didnt say anything. Felt so awkward and embarrassed for complementing them. So, great pizza, not so great customer service? I think I would feel weird going there again. But would recommend if you dont really care about that stuff.

The service is also absolutely top notch! They ensure that you are taken care of and that your experience is a positive one! During one of my orders, they ran out of vegan dipping sauce and were kind enough to go and get some from a neighbouring vegan restaurant! It’s service like this that really sets them apart.

Z. M.It took a little while to try these guys out.. Man! I am raging that I did not get here sooner. Amazing, I mean amazing authentic pizza. Fluffy, light and thin base. Neapolitan style. Fresh and delicious pizza sauce that they must make themselves. So, so good. Simple, high quality toppings with perfect quantities used which does not take away from that wonderful base and sauce. I can not recommend this leopard pizza enough!! Certainly, my top 3 in Dublin. Well done! 👏🏼

Although I lean towards simplicity with Margherita pizzas usually, at Village Pizza I tend to go for either of their vegan options - they are amazing.
Can’t recommend these guys enough! Definitely worth the trip up north.

S. C.I am a massive pizza fan and know a good pizza when I eat one. I can safely say that these are the best pizza’s I have eaten in my 20 years living in Dublin. This tiny little van produces unbelievably good pizza. The pizza’s have puffy crusts dotted with charred blisters around the edge almost like leopard print. So in essence, It makes the crust of the pizzas is as good as the rest of it. We ordered the Funghi, Chorizo and a Marguerita. The toppings were absolutely delicious. This place is seriously good! We are so lucky to have this gem at the end of our road. AMAZING!!
S. W.First tried their pizza on a sunny day by the banks of the royal canal on Whitworth road and it was absolutely delicious. Both me and my two friends ordered the margarita pizza and it we all found it to be absolutely yummy. It was freshly made in front of us and was really quick too. The tomato sauce was really flavourful and the dough was just right 👌....not too thin and not too doughy! Highly recommend!

Every friend who thinks they know the best pizza, I go with them and watch them realise that the best pizza in Dublin is from village pizza. I’m vegan and they don’t just grab a base and put them fake cheese on top, they are creative with their textures and flavors creating the best vegan pizza by a long shot (with no stupid fake cheese on top). If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!
C. O.Have been a few times to the location at The Belfry, last night was my first time visiting at Eatyard. Really good neapolitan pizza. All 4 of us ordered the chorizo one, we were told it would be about 10 minites and it was slightly longer but absolutely worth the wait. Really good chorizo and mozzarella. The crust is crispy and the base is soft and light. The garlic dip is great too. Only issue was by the time the 4 pizzas were served to us, 2 of them were cold according to my friends. Probably would have been better to serve them as they were ready rather than waiting for the 4 and serving all at once. No complaints on my end though, this is definitely one of the best pizzas in Dublin.

o. s.The Village Pizza started life out in the Belfry pub in Stoneybatter but have now moved to their new home in The Bernard Shaw, and have been active there since May 2020. Word got around fast in the coming months and their pizza was the talk of many articles and food posts. There were 3 things at the core of their success. The wood fire oven, great quality ingredients and of course the love for good pizza. They let their dough rest for at least 48 hours which seems to be the important factor in most top pizzas around at the minute. The result of all these factors are fantastic pizza being made.
I took the trip out to get VillagePizza and it was definitely worth it ! The pizza dough and crust is exceptionally good and has amazing flavour coming from the char of the woodfire oven. All the ingredients are of really good quality and the spiciness of the chorizo and pepperoni goes perfect with the garlic. The marinara is perfect in my opinion and has the right amount of sweetness and acidity which is key for good pizza sauce. The cheese mix on top is just right. It’s a mix between mozzarella and parmesan. The parmesan is a nice touch because it adds another element of flavour you wouldn’t usually have in a pizza.
The guys here are absolutely lovely. We rang up for collection and the girl on the phone was so polite and hospitable. I think this is a massive thing for any restaurant. Every single customer interaction you have, no matter how small, is still so significant to the overall experience. This nice first impression set a good foundation for the food that was to come and I think other restaurants should really consider the importance of customer service more than they do at times.
Overall there’s not much to critique in this pizza. Only thing that let it down was that crust being slightly too thin and becoming soggy in the centre. However if you perform the “pizza roll up” as I call it, this pizza can give you the perfect bite. I would 100% recommend the Chorizo Pizza if you do visit. PS. Garlic mayo plus crust dunk = heaven !

M. F.In my quest to find the best pizza in Dublin, I've been fortunate to find Village Pizza setting up shop regularly at the Belfry pub in my neighbourhood.
Love everything about their pizzas. The crust is light and unique with just enough leopard spotting, the sauce has just the right zing to it and is never too overwhelming. The toppings are always fresh and they've a good selection of different pizzas. Being a vegetarian, I always get their Vegan Pimiento and their margherita. In fact, I always have to order 2 pies as Village pizzas are so good, I just can't decide on one. 😊
My only complaint is that they don't yet have a permanent location and that they don't yet have an attached delivery service to accommodate my laziness.
Keep up the good work guys. Always a joy to watch your top notch pizzaoli work his magic and the swiftness and customer care of your line staff can't be beat! Highly recommended. 😊✌❤🍕

I’ve tried them all but Village Pizza catered for my party this week with 20 pizzas and I swear it was the best pizza I’ve ever had and it seems all of my guests felt the same! Jesus, the base, it’s perfect... A delicious crust, the real wood oven fire smokiness and the fresh local ingredients. Highly recommend the pancetta special, but all of them were friggin delicious. People were asking me where the hell did you get these pizzas they are amazing. Thank you guys. Highly recommended. 10/10!!

We queued for an hour in Naples to taste "the original and best Margarita". Granted, it was delicious but Village Pizza is just as good, if not better, and I've never queued more than 10 mins. I've tried everything on the menu and even as a non-vege, the Vegan option is up there with the best pizza I've had. I've taken to getting it with "real" cheese which I highly recommend as a vege option. Staff and food couldn't be better. Be sure to try it, even in the Irish winter. Close your eyes and think of Italy.
L. O.I’ve been meaning to try the vegan pizzas here for ages. My second Veganuary has gone well but pizzas just aren’t as good without cheese, or are they?? I tried the Vegan Funghi Bianca and it was scrumptious. The mushrooms are cooked in white wine and have a real depth of flavour. This is such an excellent pizza, no need for dairy at all!! I can’t wait till my next one!!

a. b.I had a wonderful time Working for village pizza. I started with barely no experience at front of house of the small truck outside the belfry. Rob the manager was patient and professional, to be honest more than my manager I concidered him my friend. The owner Marek is just as nice, patient and professional. They taught me how to treat customers with care and with a friendly spirit.
The pizza is also fantastic!!! So good. I definitely recommend not only to go by to taste the pizza but also to make friends with Rob and Marek!!!

G. r.As an Italian currently living in Dublin im on a quest to find actual italian pizza. With genuine ingredients, cheese that's actually mozzarella and tomato sauce that tastes like tomatoes. One would think it would be easy. Apparently not. After a month of greasy, hard, covered with toppings, bread like "pizzas" i finally found a place where you can say you had pizza. The base, thin and then pillowy in the crust. Like it's supposed to be. The ingredients. Fresh. Balanced with each other. You can see the tomato sauce. You can taste it. The mozzarella. They but basil and even drizzled olive oil after cooking it (in a wood oven. Obviously) and all of this from a truck. The olive oil was the final touch that really made me realize I was finally gonna have pizza. The smell. Finally so right. Finally pizza. And then i tasted it. The gates of heaven opened. (Im not exaggerating. I had a moment™). I hadn't had actual pizza in more than a month. My body and my soul needed it. And i was not disappointed. Not in the slightest. I cannot stress this enough. But it was soooo goood. Actual pizza. In Dublin. Thanks village pizza Dublin for restoring my faith in this City when i was starting to think all hope was lost.
