Great place to grab a bite or to have a sit-down meal. It has a wonderful selection of gluten-free and dairy-free options. The desserts are delicious and worth trying. The staff were very attentive and well-informed about the ingredients and intolerances. To have a sit-down meal inside, you must show a valid Covid passport. The toilets and the tables are cleaned regularly.

We had pizzas and they were very good. However, the service was very poor. There was plenty of staff but poorly trained. We waited ages for our order to be taken. Finally I had to wave with both hands in the air to get attention. I ordered dessert and when I asked for cutlery we were give teaspoons. So I called another staff member and asked for a dessert spoon. She asked "do you mean a big spoon"? Really???

This is one good authentic Italian restaurant in Galway! Always live visiting this place. Lemon and garlic chicken wings is absolutely delicious - a must try! Although - every pizza on the menu tells different story and is so good in terms of flavours. Still, Polo astra and American hot stands out for me! Until next time!

Quality of the food is always consistent. And unfortunately I didn't get the name of the waitress because she was incredible. So friendly. And when we asked for 2 minutes before we ordered,she actually came back 2 minutes later. Most other restaurants you wind up waiting 20 mins for the to come back.only negative is I found 1 or 2 items a euro or 2 too expensive. But still worth it. Try the pollo forza pizza.

They have a good menu, make sure you order pepperoni on your pizza as it is the best pepperoni you will taste in Galway, you get a lovely big succulent pizza all to yourself mmmm lovely. For starter try the Calamari, it is the best Calamari you will find anywhere. They can join tables to make a big table for a group or there are circular tables for smaller groups of like 6 people, from the outside it looks like a high class elite diner for executives and you'd expect to pay quite a bill to go in there, once you step inside you quickly realise that it isn't the posh place that you thought it was, it is a good standard pizza place. The also sell wine and beer. The staff are friendly and helpful offering suggestions of what is popular. The host children's parties, where all the children get to make their own pizza, this is fun and mad at the same time, the host was lovely and even ate a piece of pepperoni and told us he can't resist a piece as it is so lovely, we couldn't wait for our pizza's to come to try the pepperoni. It was a nice extra touch for him to enjoy the pepperoni so much and it made us feel we were going to get a really nice pizza. Restaurants should really entice their staff to interact with the customers and so what if he comes to the table and cuts a piece of pepperoni into several pieces and goes around to everyone on the table to get them to try it, it is those extra special touches that people remember, have fun ask each on to rate this piece of pepperoni, I just love it blaa blaa blaa, don't let the manager see me doing this though :) Milano would do good to adopt this approach and be the fun Italian guys like the chef on the TV, Gino - get people to love the atmosphere and that is what will get people coming back again and again and again. Come on Milano, get that Italian flare and charm going. Teach them a little Italian and have some fun. Treat the ladies extra special. Lay it on Milano :) I will give you 5 stars when you do.

Very disappointed at the difference between what was on offer on the website and what was available in the restaurant. Our first time to be so disappointed with Milano, they had run out of Mozzarella on a Friday night! We were going to leave without ordering but stayer. In retrospect maybe we should have left! The food we got was ok but not up to the usual standard we will think twice before going back.

Great pizza as always, brushetta not as fab as usual though. Bread was a bit heavy. New menu process of scanning a QR code is very clunky and messy. Numerous redirects to log personal details after initially doing so, any time you clicked to a different menu section it would boot you out to the details screen again. Social distancing managed well with tables left vacant etc.

Had a lovely Pizza with my 12yr old son here. Great service, waitress really helpful and we didn't wait to long for our food. Quite likely the best service I have experienced in Galway City. Our Waitress even made us aware of the money saving incentives for customers. These included a 25% reduction on bill. And a voucher for next visit, buy one get one free. Highly recommended and thx to the blond waitress!

Great food, wine and service! Dropped in on a rainy Sunday evening and enjoyed a really good thin crust pizza with a glass of Chianti with a bruschetta to start. All were served by a friendly Italian waiter. Although it little noisy the restaurant had a lively feel.

Food is nice. Very family friendly. Good picollo menu for children. Portions are very small for adults so if there is an offer for 3 courses for €25 you should definitely get it, I promise you will eat it all. Pasta dishes comes out piping hot because of sauce so you will have to wait a few minutes for it to cool, (not a complaint, just shows how fresh it is) definitely get a starter. Do not starve yourself before going here.

Always busy and staff still manage to be friendly, efficient and attentive. It seems prices have risen here €16/7 for a pizza seems quite expensive. The pizzas are tasty and there is a wide variety of choice when it comes to bases and toppings. My extra thin base this last time was soggy in parts, a pity because the other parts were very nice. Milano is a very child friendly eatery which is great but the toilets, for this reason ( parents seem comfortable to allow children to use bathrooms unattended, great to have that security, but children can be very messy! ) get quite unsightly. Even still, I do picture myself returning to Milano and trying to not steal other people's addictive dough balls.

As a regular customer for the last 10 - 15 years, I can say it does not disappoint! The focus is on pizza, but also has great salads, baked pasta dishes and desserts. This is a family-friendly place, though: Be prepared for boisterous kids' parties.

One of the waiter there was hilarious and smart. There was a blond hair in my partner's pizza, the waiter saw it when he placed it on the table and said: "opps, there's a bit of cheese there, I'm just gonna... " and he turned back to remove it. Hahaha, we don't mind a bit of accidents but that just made the joke of our day. The table setting was very pleasing, good location, wine was very good. Food was good.

Great atmosphere with big open, airy dining room flanked on one side by a wall of windows on to ancient Middle Street and on another side by the open kitchen with huge pizza oven. The staff are always personable and attentive, anxious to ensure you are happy with your meal. The lasagna is a tasty dish Mom always loves, but it doesn't resemble a firm, structured lasagna seen in American restaurants so be aware. I usually enjoy La Reine (Italian ham, black olives, mushrooms, mozzarella and tomato). This time I tried the pizza but added the gluten-free crust since I now eat a LCHF "Wheat Belly" or "Undoctored" way following Dr. William Davis of same book fame. However, Milano's crust was a real disappointment as compared to anyone's version of Fathead Pizza Crust or California Pizza Kitchen's Cauliflower Pizza Crust, also GF but fabulous!! Milano's GF crust was a tasteless, soft crust that resembled thin cardboard. Such a shame, as now there are a multitude of terrific gluten-free crust alternatives especially due to the burgeoning keto diet community worldwide. Pinterest abounds with really tasty alternatives for the standard pizza crust, and I hope Milano's chefs or bakers experiment to find one more palatable. A knockoff of CPK's would be great as their crust is better even than a regular crust!! Additionally, I always have the feeling that the pizzas are undercooked. I love my vegetables with a roasted texture and the ham firm, not slimy, on the crust. Would love to see that change as well! However, we always enjoy Milano's. I'll order something entirely different next time or order a regular crust pizza well done & crispy next time! Also, love, love my 3Plus mobile phone promos that give me 30% off Milano every once in a while. Helps to bring down those rather high prices.

This is our second time at Milano (the other one was in Limerick), and both times we had great experience. The food (vegetarian pizzas both times) was delicious, I liked the elderflower spritzer better than the mango, and the desserts were really good.

First night in Galway and stumbled on Milano’s. Very busy, seeing it was a Friday night, but we were seated in under 20 minutes. Our waitress was wonderful. Started with the antipasto and shared the artichoke and spinach rigatoni. Everything was excellent and reasonably priced.

Really excellent pizza, with Italian flavours, shame about the beer which is only Peroni, no Irish beers. Nice place, spacious and not too crowded, very friendly and courteous staff I count a little salty, but then again we are in Ireland. I would go back

Friendly staff. The restaurant is called Milano but it has nothing Italian about it. All the dishes seem more Irish than Italian. The pizza is not recommended, it is chewy and not Italian style. All in all the starters aren't bad. Very high prices for what it offers though..
