Stopped in Mallow on our way home from Dingle and what a nice surprise this was. Very pleasant waiter and various menu choices with two different kitchens. Food was tasty and the Guinness was great . Would definetly go again. David

Very good pasta and lovely pizza. I am an Italian boy and I can say I eat better here than in many other Italian resturant. Thanks to chef David and Pina, they are the best.

We went at the Ocana's with friends and we were very surprised to find an original Italian Pizza, really fluffy and crispy, Like the one that we had once in Naples. Really delicious!!!!! We had the Quattro Formaggi and the Margherita, we love it!

Had a meal here but was told that all they had was pizza but we had the choice of ordering from the restaurant next door. Two of the people with me did. The others had the pizza which they said was lovely. The atmosphere and decor was lovely and the staff were very friendly. Would recommend.

Regular here because the food is straight forward and filling. Service and staff are great and even on a match night it's still a pleasant place to be. You can hear the conversation at your table and you don't feel odd just being there for a meal while other people might be there for a pint and the game. Even if the place is quiet you don't feel like you stick out like a sore thumb. I never went to the place before it became Ocana but I like a good gastro-pub/bar and this hits the spot.

This bar is nicely designed, has craft beers and a wood-fired pizza oven. However the food that we got was not particularly good. The quality of ingredients used is not good. Pizzas have tasteless tomatoes and don't have fresh mozzarella. The Italian sausage was more like a hot dog sausage and the olives were from a jar. We got a salad that was way too overdressed that it tasted more like a coleslaw than a fresh salad. They do have a midweek deal where you can get a glass of wine/beer with any pizza for about €13.00, which is good value. The place has great potential to be a good gastro-pub (and there isn't much competition in the town) but the ingredients need to be of a higher quality.

We were driving from Killarney to Galway and ended up stopping here for a late lunch. It was a great choice! My husband got the chicken strips while I opted for pizza. Both were tasty (my pizza was better though 😜). They have an extensive menu and full bar.

Vegan, so not a lot of options around town, but had pizza, chips and salad, lovely grub, nothing too much trouble. Lovely surroundings, great staff (had pint in here three weeks ago) time to chat, come in Saturday if you want attention and to be treated like a real customer. What's the strap line? Cosy, comfy, relax and enjoy! Sorry, forgot to say, not just a burger joint, all your favourites, but with a twist. Go experience!

Pizzas are very filling and tasty. Beer plus pizza combo promo great idea. I take a star off only because it isn't open for lunch, it opens around 5pm onwards and I'm heading home usually by then. If it were open for lunch you'd probably see me a few times per month.

Its OK not my top pick I'm afraid! Used to be one of the best bars in Mallow town once before it was Called The Noggin. Why fix something that wasn't Broken! I mean then it had Character a place most often full of Customers unlike today. Its only a Shadow of what it was. Bar is smaller now plenty of TVs to watch your favourite Sport. Staff are helpful. The atmosphere is hit and miss like the heart has been taken out of it. It was always the Noggin Bar. It has changed twice from Maracaibo to Ocanas. Can be bit cold if doors left open out the front and back. Outside seating at back.

Nice place to watch football, they also sell food and good music, no dull moment. I am here watching the Liverpool vs Tottenham match. Public parking behind by the Mallow police station or directly in front of the bar if you find one.

I just had a diablo pizza in there and it was absolutly bang on lovely i must say... got spanosh fries they wernt great ... not really alot of cheese but the pizza was perfect. I think 11 euro for the pizza so cheap enough aswell.
