Arguably one of if not the best Irish craft beer going and staff are always brilliant to deal with. Their monthly Clann subscription box is great value for money too and boasts a good mix of favourites and new releases

The Clann is an excellent beer subscription, great value, always has a good selection of WH beer and a guest that is generally not available in Ireland, also getting 10% off other orders is a nice bonus.

It was my birthday last week, and I had ordered some beverages to celebrate from the lovely people in The White Hag brewery... ...alas, with all the social isolating, and locking down, my box of brews didn’t arrive until today. Immediately upon receiving the luscious liquids, I placed a few of them in the fridge in the hope that there would be some time set aside later to sample the delicious drinks. Earlier on in the day, I had made a batch of pizza dough, a common enough thing to do in my house, but that’s another story... As the day was relatively decent, outside with me to do some of the jobs that need doing this time of year... weeding, cleaning, weeding, washing windows, weeding, thinking about painting, weeding, you know the drill. After a good bit of outdoors work, back into lockdown, and pizza production. Everyone wants different pizzas in my house. A Margherita, a plain ham, Serrano with black pudding, seafood special, Roquefort and Rocket, and finally a Roquefort with Serrano, black pudding and rocket... nomnomnom. Mine is always last. 😊 Then onto what to drink with mine. I knew what I was having straight away, it was the Talti. Talti, was a mythical Irish goddess, who apparently died of exhaustion after clearing Ireland in preparation for agriculture. So, just about the same as I did today... She was apparently beautiful and well formed, as is this beer. It’s stunning. I’m not sure how the Ballymote Beer Gods have crammed so much flavour into this little can, but sweet Jesus, it’s amazing. The right amount of fruit and spice, and oak aged loveliness... this tastes so much more than it’s paltry 4.4%. Again, I’m not sure how ye did it, but I’m pretty certain that Talti herself is smiling down on every glass of this that is poured, knowing that she was the one that got the land ready for it. The nicest farmhouse saison I’ve ever tasted. Get some. You won’t regret it. 😊

Made an online order yesterday afternoon, the beers were in my fridge by 10AM this morning. Had my first taste this evening (Bran and Sceolan) - it was absolutely delicious. Not sure if it's just in my own head but it tasted even better than cans I had bought from off licences before. Could not recommend the online store highly enough - super quick, user friendly and just overall great service and great beer.
