V. J.Big size of meals and the drink were great. The lady serving us was friendly and excellent at her job.
M. M.Just had a lovely meal of roast beef and roast chicken dinner. Broccoli, cauliflower and carrots were all freshly cooked, mashed potatoes, chips and extra gravy. Good portions. Looked on Google for places to eat in Cavan and came across this little gem. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere and very welcoming. Definitely will be visiting again. Good value for money and you definitely will not be leaving feeling hungry 😂. Car park just a few steps away which was very handy as I was on crutch.

A. L.Travelled up the Breffni Park for a match and stopped in MacGabhanns for a bite to eat. I roast beef meal was delicious and generous. The high ceiling give a comfortable and spacious feel to the place. To top it all the two staff members we interacted with were so friendly and very efficient. I definitely recommend dropping in here.

J. M.Absolutely amazing burger, best I’ve had here in my 3 years on the island. Staff paid extra attention when asking for changes in the meal. I asked for no tomato on the burger, and there was no tomato to be seen on my plate. Wife asked for no bun or gluten-free bun. They didn’t have a gluten free bun, but then also made sure to leave the onion ring that had gluten in it off as well. Thank you so very much - we’ll be back!
P. L.On a two night stay in Cavan town with my wife and we ate here both evenings. Lovely friendly welcome from Amanda on the first evening and from her daughter on the second. Lovely atmosphere, food and drink and great value for money. Worth a visit and we will definitely return if we're in town again.

C. D.Excellent time in An Cruiscin in Cavan. We (my wife and 2 boys) where in Cavan town this cold morning and needed a place with a bit of comfort to warm up and get some food. Noticed An Cruiscin as we drove up the Main Street on the watch out for somewhere to drop in. Nice advertisement for food outside and plenty of parking so we decided to go in. Greeted by a pleasant face from behind the lovely traditional bar. Given s choice of seats and sat down to a lovely spacious table. The comfortable feeling of the heating was the second welcoming feeling. Got menus, ordered food and coffee and sat back. Great small chat with Amanda who had greeted us. Food and coffee arrived and it was lovely!! Delighted with our visit due to a number of reasons, will definitely be back again. Strongly recommend An Cruiscin, best place I have been in a long while. Great service, facilities and the cleanliness was noticeable.
