Reviews of The Mauretania Bar
What a bar, and right in the centre of town. It was great in the arvo but super busy when we came back early evening. The Maury is obviously very popular with the local lads and lassies. As well as regular live music, they also put on a great show for us Aussie tourists when our cruise liner visited. The Irish Coffee was just perfect and the barman serving was super friendly.
Fabulous old bar with plenty of character and characters and mighty craic. Good pints as well
Great pub with all the Irish feel. We came only for some Murphy's, but were greated with warmth and treated like a local. Super atmosphere and great staff. Good live music and right on the waterfront where you can watch the cruise ships go by.. Definitely worth a visit.
Best bar in Cobh. Cosy. Friendly and attentive staff and good pints. Right on the main street. Right across the road from the Titanic Experience on Casement Square. Live music on Cruise days
Lovely pub is central Cobh. Pleasant invitation to enter from bar-staff, very genuine welcome. Lovely old corner bar full of wood, glass & brass. Standard Cork beers. A very good place to spend and hour or so. Visitors to Cobh will be made very welcome and locals are well served too.
Very good bar also in the centre of Cobh town. Another brilliant place to sit inside or outside especially in the summer months. Not far from Train station and public transport back to Cork city. Another popular choice for the tourists and people in general cross the road from Titanic restaurant right near the coast very nice views here.
Amazing Guiness and very friendly place.
Small, but a sailors favourite. Friendly as. Recommend the Guinness.
Very nice pub i Cobh we visited last summer. Serviceminded and gentle staff. We had a great talk with the bartender :) On saturday evenings you can see and listen the King. It is is epic!!

Great bar, great people, great live music! My wife and I were traveling on our honeymoon and everyone in this bar and town made us feel welcome and showed us a great time!
Cozy bar that has a great history and that has character of its own unique style, great for a visit as a tourist to cobh or a pub that a local would frequently viscous the music sessions are great Craic.
Good pub, drink, people and music.
Small, cozy pub with good Wi-Fi and good selection of beers

Cosy traditional bar in the heart of Cobhs historic town! Superb beer and whiskey selection and some of the best staff u could meet, warm friendly welcome and knowledgeable about the area and local drinks! There was live music when I visited , the craic was mighty!!!

Fun, casual atmosphere and a good variety of beer to try. I met a pair of great huggers here, as well, always a plus! Owen is a lovely bartender. This experience made our time in Cobh even more enjoyable.
