J. K.What a fantastic meal we had this evening. I'm so glad I trusted the online reviews. Steak and tomahawk pork chops were cooked to perfection. Portion size were very generous and everything we got was exceptional. The 2 waiters who served us were very friendly, kind and promised us a good feed and they most certainly did not disappoint. Looking forward to returning in the not too distant future. Well deserved the 5 star review

Probably my favourite place to get a bite to eat and a pint when in this area. Last time I was here was when the world was a different place PC19 (pre covid 19) and it was great then.
Back up from Dublin surfing now that "normality" is returning and it's still as good as I remember.
So if you want decent food and a good pint it's well worth a look.

Oysters were fantastic and great to see an Albariño on the wine list. Overheard a dealing with an extremely minor “dissatisfaction” of another customer and I must commend the staff on how they handled and approached the situation. Kudos to all and best wishes to the business in these challenging times. C.
A. N. A. T.Great selection on the menu. Got the crab sandwhich which was nice but the crab tasted frozen. Oysters had a bit of grit and shell in them. Service was reasonably dry. 50euro for the lunch for 2- would probably not go back but it was ok.

K. M.This is a place you could settle into for a day & watch the waves crash on the beach, a pint of Guinness in hand and struggle with what to start with on a tasty food menu. We had to compromise & went for 3 delicious starters as it was just a snack; king prawns, smoked salmon stuffed with crabmeat and pork dumplings with sesame & soy sauce. Pictures tell you the 'before' and 'after' story and the 5 ☆'s tell's you everything else you need to know.😎
f. v.Tomahawk pork steak v good. Venison burger burnt. Dry as hell. Don't know if they just messed up that or not. Will try again but found it too pricey for such a let down on the burger. I've cooked my own before and lean meat shouldn't be overcooked with charred outside, Not the best outcome on a birthday dinner 😳.

The food was 100% could not fault any of it from starters to main course and desert.
Staff were friendly and service was quick.
Atmosphere was also enjoyable.
You must book a table though.

F.Very typical welcoming place, the inside decoration is original, so much stuff to look at, and it gives a feeling of warmth and home. The outside tables are very pleasant with lots of beautiful flowers, and allow to take a drink with a view and spend the nicest moment !

T. K.Treated myself to a week in Bundoran. Staying at nearby hotel. Booked a meal on day 2 and loved it. Mackerel dish was nice, staff is great and all safety measures in place.
Booked 2 more visits and I would recommend chicken wings and burger.
I found the staff and service to be excellent.
It must be hard during Covid and with only outdoor dining but they are really doing their best.
If you are in Bundoran, support them.

We were reminded about facemasks for getting up from our seat and there was sanitiser on every table. It was great to see procedures being followed which allowed for a relaxed dining experience. M. L.We book into this place this evening arrived a bit early welcomed and taken to our seats ordered drink and food everything was fine till we ordered a second drink this is the glass it was served in when we pointed it out to the waiter he said sorry and shot off with the glass .
Little did he know I already had taken a photo of it.
It was cracked at least half way down the glass so how they didn't notice it I don't know .

I had garlic mushrooms to start & the curry as a main and was very happy with my choice. It was very busy which is a good sign of good place.

The service was not the most attentive post-ordering—-we had to go ask for our bill—-but the delicious food made up for it. We walked around and the surrounding restaurants may have less expensive prices, but their atmospheres seemed rowdy and immature compared to the upstairs of Madden’s. We were happy with our choice to eat here. (The view is great too!).

I was expecting tourist prices and a lack of care in what was served but what we got was good enough to have me thinking about it days latter!
The home made dumplings (listed as Gyoza) was superb, but it was the crab sandwich that had me wanting to live close by to be able to have this more often!

Typical bar food plus restaurant options. Food till 9pm on weekends, 7pm on week days.
Good fun, still cozy and not crazy loud at night.
It has different sections, from the outside tables that get super busy on these beautiful Spring/Summer evenings (esp at sunset), to the entrance area, which gets some natural light and has tables with chairs and armchairs, to the back area, darker and usually quieter (closer to the kitchen and restrooms).
Has Wi-Fi and baby changing table, if I recall correctly.
