B. B.Nice quiet bar where u can hear ur friends talk. There is also a modern jukebox where u can pick a song for 50 cents, or 5 songs for 2 euros.
T. T.Absolutely loved our visit here. Food was excellent and the staff was amazing. They even let me have my picture taken behind the bar at the Guinness tap as it was my birthday. I can't wait to go back again, as Madigan's will definitely be on the list of stops!

J. O. W.We ate here on the evening of our 2nd day in Ireland, first place that had good food! I had the Fish 'n Chips, and my fiancé had the Bangers 'n Mash. Everything was hot and seasoned well.
Only downside was they didn't have live music as advertised. Was looking forward to that a little.
They did have a full house and only 3 staff. They stayed pleasant and served everyone efficiantly. Really enjoyable evening.
L.Lovely old style pub right in the city centre. Good pint and very friendly staff. I was only visiting for a swift pint and the food looked great and it was reasonably priced ( considering the location). I would definitely reccommend this pub and I will be back the next time I am 'in town'

J. P.I have to admit that the interior when you first walk in was not very impressive. It looks like it is very much in need of an update and a bit of a tidy up but then you get to realise that this is not meant to be another tourist pub off of O’Connell street but rather a locals bar, as you notice by the clientele.
They have a great selection of beers, ales and craft ales. When I asked for a pint of Grolsch the barmaid shook her head and said “no”. After looking at her puzzled she said, “why don’t you try one of our Irish lagers?” I said “OK” and tried some samples that she offered me. They tasted great and I was converted instantly to the Irish lagers.
This is one of three pubs all called Madigans within a few hundred yards of each other, but we only tried the one in Earls St.
The bar staff and manager all seemed friendly, the beer selection was great, and the place has a reputation for good food and it also has live music. Well worth a visit.
