These ribs were really fall off the bone tender! Every bite was so full of flavour. The cocktails are so pretty here. The location is great for whenever you’re in Dublin City with really easy access via the luas.

It has been a couple of months since I have been there (thanks to Covid) and I was looking forward to having lunch here. First of all - opening hours on the webpage and google differ, and as a result I was an hour too early and really hungry 😳. Why is it so difficult to keep these thing in sync? Anyhow, we decided to wait and not go somewhere else.... That is how much we wanted to eat there. Staff was very friendly and we ordered regular bbq wings with blue cheese dip, ribs & wings combo and fries, two alcoholic drinks and two soft drinks. Homemade lemonade was delicious so was the may flower martini. Aperol Sprizz consisted out of ice cubes mainly and didn't have the right taste. Drinks & meal ordered at the same time, food came first. Not quite what I am used to. Wings sizes must have been changed recently, wings as such very small and there weren't too many either. The wings as such hadn't had a lot of meat either. Marinade was okish, but not to die for. In contrary, Ribs were delicious, great marinade, perfect texture. Fries crisp and salty. Blue Cheese Dip was served in paper bowls, which I would accept at a McDonald's but not at a restaurant, also didn't really have any blue cheese taste. Food presentation as such wasn't nice either, what is wrong with a nice bowl or plate? All in all, it was ok, but I wouldn't come back in the near future as there are plenty of other places that do better.

We were delighted when given a voucher for Ruby's as a gift, as we have been meaning to find a reason to go. The staff were very nice when we got there AND when we were leaving. The soya and sesame wings are delicious and highly recommended. I ordered 8oz steak with a rack of baby ribs, asked for a medium rare steak and it came out well done. Baby ribs are tasty and falls off the bone. Cajun fries are pretty good, bit of a spicy kick to it and also crunchy which is always a bonus for fries. Waited over a half hour for my mains to come after I had my starter wings which made me drop down to 4 stars.

Food is just ok. Nothing special. Mediocre food. They have some decent lunch specials during the week and the staff are friendly. It's a fine place to have a lunch with work colleagues. I may go ago in the future but only out of convenience to meet people.

Place has a diner feel to it. Food was pretty good although there was a bit of a misunderstanding in ordering our pizza, but in the end we got it for free and the waiters were very nice about it. I love the food here. Its always really good. The only downside is you can't book a table if there is a concert on, so the wait time can be well over an hour with very little space to wait in the restaurant itself. The staff were friendly and welcoming, it's just a shame the restaurant isn't a little bigger as it does feel a bit cramped.

Great price for the food although the pasta based dishes do not seem fresh and could do with an overhaul. Staff are nice, when it's busy they can be a bit overrun though. Speed of food arrival in busy periods can be frustratingly slow if you are on a lunch break from work. Still, overall I like to come here time and again.

I loved my visit here. My first time visiting Ruby's and they've definitely gained a new fan. I was somewhat skeptical at first, as I thought with such a varied menu they would be so-so accross the board, How wrong I was! Everything was delicious and wonderfully presented. We went on an exceptionally busy night and service was stellar. A group of 4 of us went to try out the food, and the plan going in was to get all different dishes and sample all different dishes. There was so much food, you really get your monies worth, and everything is exceptionally tasty. Their pizzas are superbly tasty, their wings are delicious, burgers are great too! Desserts were great and we were all very satisfied afterwards. Would definitely recommend for couples and groups.

We visited here for some early evening food and were not disappointed!!! WARNING the portion sizes are very generous so make sure you are either extremely hungry or have a very large appetite LOL 😅😅🐖🐖 There is an extensive menu of all types of burgers pizzas wings etc to suit all tastes. Meat lovers would be especially delighted to eat here but equally there are options for vegetarians. There is also an extensive drinks list and Beer on tap which is always appealing.

Tried Rubys whilst staying at the Gibson. Seated by friendly staff. Mix up with the table and they gave it to somebody else. The staff were great, found us another table quickly and a couple of free drinks. Well done on good customer service. Excellent pizza. Will definitely visit again next time we are in town.

Over priced full breakfast fry. I wouldn't mind if it was excellent but it was only mediochre. I also didn't get what I ordered, which was no mushrooms and fresh tomatoes instead of cooked. And brown toast instead of the white. I got white toast, cooked tomatoes and mushrooms. Why did the waiter write it down? Eddie Rockets next door is pricey too but you get what you ordered. Given the day and the fact that I was with 6 work colleagues I let it go. Will I go back? Debatable.

Nice place, friendly staff and tasty food. There are a few gluten free options so it's good for coeliacs. I wonder could another couple of options be added in future, then it would have been a 5* review. I'd recommend it anyway. Bookings in advance are apparently for groups bigger than 2. Couples is more of a walk in policy and the wait usually isn't long. You can call a little in advance to reserve a place in the queue to save a few mins.

Simply GREAT - definitely try it! We discovered the restaurant during a trip to Dublin lasting several days. Unfortunately, it is extremely difficult to go out to eat in the city without a reservation, so we had to wait about 15 minutes BUT: we had the best price-performance ratio of our entire trip. The food was really excellent, especially the BBQ spareribs...if I had known that, I would have only ordered spareribs! Everything else was great too, the feta side salad was great and if you like fries with brown sauce you should try the dirty fries. The drink prices were also some of the cheapest we experienced. Service also completely OK. If you can't decide between a steakhouse, burger shop, pizza and BBQ: definitely try it out! A visit is inevitable on my next trip!!!
