First day walking in at 1300 the place was very quiet. We stayed and each ordered soup and or a sandwich. The odd bag of crisps. No alcohol just tap water we were working.
Best price in city centre.
Soup was hot. tasty and even smelled good.
Sandwiches were home made on amazing bread.
Very simple menu. Excellent quality.
Will stop by again.

g. a.Very easy going place to enjoy a pint with locals. Not many tourists or not at all. I've been a couple of times with my colleagues and it's very good price for pints. I love that we can bring food from outside so don't worry if you see pizzas around just go to apace or other food places around and take a pint here for a great dinner. Very nice! A good way to get a little view of the Irish life.
A. G.Love this place! Great local pub with super friendly staff. After arriving on a late flight into Dublin I stopped by here. The kitchen was closed but the staff allowed me to buy a pizza from down the street, come back and eat it in the bar with our pints. Great customer service!

o. a.Well, this was our first bar visit when we just land in Dublin (3 hours after landing) the beer selection on draught is very good the place wasn't full at all and the vibe was perfect for the first beer in the day it is impressive as tourist that bars are open at 11-12 o'clock. The owner is lovely. And the service was very good.

J. C.It wasn't until recently (within the past 12-18 months), that I started going to the Swan. It's a great bar, I'm a big fan. You can get some craft beers along with all the big brand usuals. You might be able to get a toasted sandwich if you're not too late in. You can watch the sport on some TVs that are littered throughout the venue and they're not imposing, you could easily come here, have no interest in sport and get through the evening without being swamped by gigantic TVs that are in other pubs. Great spot all in all.

L. S. W.The Swan on Aungier Street is a beautiful pub established in 1661. Reworked in 1897, it is now a wonderful homage to Victorian Ireland. A brilliant atmosphere and great staff. Highly recommended if you want a lovely atmosphere and chat!

THE BAR WAS MORE TJAN TWO THIRDS FULL, A MIXTURE OF LOCAL S AND VISITING.TOURIST. FOR MYSELF I HAD NOT BEEN IN YHIS CORNER PUB AT CUFFE ST. DUBLIN IN.YESRS MY DECEASED DA JOHN OFTEN DROPPED INTO.THIS PUB FOR A PINT OF GUINNESS. AVE TODAY IRDER A BOTTLE OF SWEDISH CIDER AND A PACKET OF CRISPS 'THE BARMAN SERVING WAS PROMPT AND WHEN I ASKED US WERE THERE ANY POWER POINTS BESIDE TABLES FOR CUSTOMERS HE SSID NO BUT THAT HE COULD TAKE MY MOBILE AND CHARGE THE PHINE BEHIND THE COUNTER. THE PUNDITS DRINKING IN THE SWAN BAR ON THIS PARTICULAR EARLY EVENING WERE A MIXED BUNCH ( WHICH AVE THE RAVE REVIEWER LIKES A LOT ) I SAT WITH MY SWEET CIDER AND CRISPS AROUND THE FRONT COUNTER.A GROUP OF HANDSOME MEN SAT OPPOSITE ME DISCUSSING THE RUGBY MATCH WHICH WAS SHOWING ON THE TV SCREEN IN THE COUNTER. THREE WOMEN WITH TWO YOUNG CHILDREN WERE LEAVING AS TIME WAS GETTING LAT E FOR KIDS TO BE ON THE PUB PREMISIE. I.DRANK MY CIDER, MUNCHED ONY CRISPS AND READ PART OF MY EVENING PAPER THERE IN THE SWAN BAR IN A LOVELY HOMELY ATHMOSPHERE. WHEN THE BARMAN CAME BACK.TO ME WITH MY CHARGED UP MOBILE PHONE AND GAVE HIM A TIP BUT HE WOULD NOT TAKE IT FROM ME ! TALK ABOUT QUIET FRIENDLY SERVICE ! I SPOKE WITH.A MAN STANDING DRINKING AT THE BAR COUNTER. WE HAD A GOOD AUL ABOUT LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB . THE MAIN FESTURE WITH REGARD S TO THE INTERIOR DECOR OF YHE SWAN BAR US THE AMOUNT OF LOVELY PANNELLED WOOD AROUND THE PUB. THERE ARE WOODEN BARRELS USED AS TABLES.HERE AND THERE AS WELL.AS LOWER TABLES. THE PINT OF GUINESS I'S PROPERLY DRAWN AND LEFT WAITING TO SETTLE . IF YOU LIKE GIN THEY OFFER A GOOD LIST OF MAKERS. THOUGH THIS PIBLIC HOUSE DATES BACK VERY FAR AND HAS BEEN REFURBISHED IT HAS BEEN DONE SO WELL THAT THE CHARACTER OF AN OLD PUB REMAINS HERE IN TACT. J. H. L.(Translated) It was the best pub I've ever been to while I was in Dublin. It's not like a temple bar. Sometimes it's quiet, sometimes it's time to step on. Feel like an old Seolleongtang house! It is actually a pub with a history of over 300 years. Recommended if you want a real Dublin pub.

더블린에 있는동안 내가 가본 펍 중에는 최고였습니다. 템플 바와 같은 분위기는 아닙니다. 때로는 조용하기도 때로는 발딛을 틈없기도 합니다. 오래된 설렁탕집같은 느낌! 실제로도 300년이 넘는 역사를 가진 펍입니다. 진짜 더블린 펍을 원하신다면 추천합니다.

Hoje foi meu dia de visitá-lo e foi muito bacana pois ontem depois de 91 anos na sexta-feira Santa foi revogado a lei que não permitia a venda de bebidas nesta data. O lugar é equipado com TVs ligados sempre em esportes. Tem lareira e é bem limpo e atendimento agradável. Recomendo.
