Great place for food and drinks! We went there twice, where I had the BBQ wings and the missus had the pulled beef pie. The second time we had the beer battered fish and chips. Did not disappoint! Oh, and there might have been a pint of Guinness.

I went here for food and was served by Denise. She was fantastic and really looked after us. I would highly recommend the food, the service was excellent. I also felt extremely safe due to the spacing between tables, covid signage and stocked up hand sanitizer.

Great Place for a night out. The life band was particularly amazing. Beautiful old school 3-man life band. The staff team /services was excellent. Lovely little cost place for a get together with friends, family and work colleagues. Although, no room for an elaborate dance floor. I recommend it for a night out.

Slightly off the beaten track and away from the touristy Temple Bar this is a real gem with live music and memorabilia of recent Irish history. Guinness was impeccably served. Plenty of atmosphere.

Such a pity this has become a diageo only pub. Used to have a better selection of beers. The rascal brewery beers fortunately are still available . Service is excellent as always. Happy days is a nice pint.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for a bite to eat following our tour at the gaol, and boy were we surprised. I can't speak to the inn - but the food here is fantastic. My boyfriend is a self-declared carnivore and stew aficionado and he said the Guinness Stew he had there was the best stew of his life. We ate here early on in our trip in Europe, and he couldn't stop talking about how amazing that stew was. This was a fantastic stop.

We went here on a rainy Tuesday but before a guided tour of the kilmainham gaol. Wonderfully friendly staff - couldn't have been more helpful in letting us taste local beers before committing to a couple of pints. Food was fantastic (fresh and local) and very reasonable given the quality. Gents toilets could have done with a bit of clean, but would thoroughly recommend this pub. Great find!

Had a great lunch here here with some friends after visiting the kilmainham gaol. I had the house burger which was big and juicy and delicious. My wife is gluten free and that was no problem for the chef.

Great food and amazing service. Perfect for breakfast! Had to leave in a hurry so they prepacked my food in tin foil and allowed me to take their own cutlery as they ran out of disposable ones. Would definitely return if I had the chance.

Had a fantastic gin tasting experience here with a bunch of friends. The bar tender was interesting and he ended the evening with a the most delicious gin and cucumber cocktail. Highly recommend.

Great neighbourhood bar for a quiet pint. Plenty of space on the inside to find a quiet spot. Close to the historic Kilmainham Gaol so a good stop off for a rest. Bar staff are very courteous.

So sad. The pints were great but the food was so sad even the ghosts next door were crying. I had the Guinness stew which had a single piece if meat. My friend had the sandwich and soup special and complained the cream of tomato soup was bland while the chicken was cooked from frozen and rubbery.

Popped into here as it was the nearest eatery from our accomodation. Had 2 Guinness for drinks and 2 chicken pizzas and chips. All good except due to a mistake somewhere only 1 pizza turned up. The other, and the chips arrived after the first pizza was eaten. To their credit the bill was reduced for the inconvenience. Would recommend and would return myself.
