This is one of my favourite Gastropub in Dublin for a couple of reasons. Have been here so many times randomly as solo or with friends. After a gap of almost 2 years went here again for a Dinner Date on the New Year's Eve and it was refreshingly the same feel. Plenty of menu options for food and drinks which are grand, the staffs are friendly and quick with the order. Fantastic overall service, have always felt welcomed here.

Feels like a new favourite, as we’ve been waiting for over a year for these guys to open back up… The food, wine and cocktails are all excellent (try the crianza and or off menu for cocktails) …. Decor is beautiful… Music is fantastic…. and the service is second to none, you’d never figure there’s an F&B labour shortage as everyone here is a top notch!

A lovely pub that serves great food. The Purty has gone under a bit of a renovation leaving more room for dining and the restrooms have got a much needed makeover. The food was delicious and the service was excellent, service with a smile even behind the facemasks 😊. A little pricey but good sized steaks eased that a bit.

Updated 2021: went for early evening food with a friend. The food, service, and atmosphere was incredible. 5/5. The calamari was the best I've had. 2019: Top quality food and excellent service. Lovely atmosphere for afternoon lunch or dinner. The burger is gourmet. House red was delicious. Will certainly return soon. Insider tip - Plenty of free weekend parking directly over the railway tracks from the pub. You can then use the pedestrian foot bridge to walk there in a couple of minutes.

I had my 'special' birthday party in the gorgeous upstairs venue last weekend. I was blown away by the exceptional attention to detail and support from Amanda during the planning process over the past few weeks. However, nothing could have prepared us for the overwhelming hospitality our group received on the night from the entire team. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable and every effort was made to ensure my guests received first class customer service. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough! Mark and his team are the best in the game these days. We cannot thank you enough guys!

Myself and my partner had an amazing meal in The Purty Kitchen recently. The food was absolutely amazing, delicious, well priced and the service staff were on point, attentive and polite. Wine was beautiful, as was the desert. Specifically the steak was undeniably perfect, heads off to the chef Graham who we met afterwards. Had a fantastic meal at the Purty last night. It's been a few years since I was here and the place looks fantastic. The menu is great, I had calamari to start, which was really tender and tasty and then a fantastic linguini with prawns and chorizo. Finished off with the superb lemon dessert and an old fashioned. We had a really lovely dinner here yesterday. The new refurb is stylish and sleek with comfortable seating and really looks great. I had perfectly cooked fresh fish and the lemon dessert and both were delicious. Service was excellent and it's great to see the purty back again.

Top food, top beers in a lovely old building with an interior with a modern twist! Food was very tasty, well presented and good portion sizes. They have an entire beer menu, along with beer recommendations for different dishes, which were bang on. Service was decent, even on the very busy evening that I was there. Overall impressed and will definitely go back. A little pricey perhaps, but everything was of great quality and flavour. Recommended.

Very cosy place with excellent chips. The service is great, and what amazed me that, even though it is a pub/restaurant, we were actually served, which I found really nice. Did not try the food other than the chips (unfortunately, because their menu look interesting, and the food I have seen being ordered looked tasty). Hope I come back next time I return to Ireland.

Can't praise the staff enough. They were really attentive to an elder relative and even manage to rearrange tables for us even when incredibly busy. The ffod on offer was great and definitely worth the price. Great location as well away from the main strip.

Went to a great music gig in the refurbished Purty Loft. Big improvement, good sound, nice staff but the flashing lights pointing at the audience were annoying, uncomfortable and a real pain. That, and only that, would put me off going back.

There are a good selection of menu options for lunch and dinner.Lunch starts from around 10 Euro the position sizes were good.Kids meala start from 7 Euro. The pub offers a good selection of deserts starting at 6 Euro.Its well worth a visit for lunch.

Found the dish and chips and chowder very disappointing. The service was initially unfriendly. Towards the end of the meal the waitress will as more friendly. Would not be in a hurry to return.

The purty kitchen was a gr8 venue..my 1st visit was last night..was to see steely dan tribute band and they were amazing..the vunue itself is the perfect size for such bands..and the atmosphere was electric..already planning our next trip..

I lived in Dublin between 1989-1999. Have returned for a visit this Christmas, and though progress marches relentlessly through a town like Dublin, it was sentimentally reassuring to see the Purty Kitchen, a haunt for me in the 1990's, had changed only to improve its previously high standard. Still intimate, food still great, a welcome port in a stormy, wet Dublin winter's night, and a great place to settle as the summer sun sets late over Dublin Bay on a balmy, Irish evening.

The service was really nice, but the food was oily. I had fish and chips. When I cut the crispy fish, my plate was filled with a puddle of oil. I ate the fish with ketchup to compensate for the oily food.

Anche il menù è fedele alla tradizione e trovi il Purty seafood chowder, così come il filetto o il burger irlandese e tanti altri piatti tipici oltre alle specialità del giorno.
