Great spaces, with 3 levels, and different character on each! The bar is uniquely decorated, and well worth studying...even the floor has secrets to share. Good clean gents loo at basement. Upstairs music venue on 2 floors has great character too, and is obviously antique, but the Void speakers are bang up to date, and deliver a perfect thumping sound. Up a level is the outdoor 'smoking' area with retractable roof. Sometimes a DJ area too! There used to be an added bonus: a stupendous view of the new (nightly lit!) VHI building from this area but I think the new canopy blocks that spectacle. The loos nearby on this level generate a que when venue busy, but otherwise I love the place. Friendly but firm bouncers ensure a problem free night.

Nice place and comfy enough for a small group. The burgers are very tasty, pints are decent enough and the staff are super friendly. The only downside is that the service was slow at times.

Went to a 1010 event @thesoundhouse. Really get clubbing experience, dj Darryl ellis and dj jay bryne were deadly. Real professional set an employ was walking around in a suit checking up on everything all the time. Really great, felt like they cared about the customers. The only bad part of the night was a girl knocked a drink into me. When is the next event?

Bosh Burger at the Wiley Fox was brilliant. Tasty, juicy, great balance of flavours in our burgers One of our party was vegan and reported their most tasty meal since they went vegan. Service was top class and beyond expectation for a great casual experience. Friendly, engaging, informative, accurate, Disney like service infact. Drinks menu was extensive and overall a great value experience for our party of 6.

I enjoy being there although the place it’s quite hot (visited on a hot day anyway). The bathrooms are quite smelly but if you’re not too fussy about it you’ll be grand.. The price for the pints is one of the cheapest around..extra point!

I have had some absolutly fantastic nights in the sound house. They are a chance for smaller collectives to run more alternative night than mainstream clubs. You can find very very interesting and cool people here. The food downstairs they do is incredable. The only down fall is how the security treat you as if you shouldn't be there, it is fairly hostile and uncomforting

Great music hall upstairs called the Sound Machine. It is small and narrow and thus quickly gets crowded at the front, but that makes it good for smaller acts who might only have 100 or so audience but still is a fun night.

Good venue but can't expect people sit/stand in the cold. This is due to using the front stairs as an entrance. The door at the top of the stairs is a fire door which can only be opened from the inside so has to be left open or manned by somebody. This needs to be sorted or else go back to using the rear stairs as the entrance

I was there for a company sports and social night, we had food platters and drinks, not sure about the prices exactly but the food was very good and the staff were lovely. The place is a bit small, but its cozy. Will be coming back for a night of drinks and food :)

They brought our main course out before our starter and then told us they would put it under the heater while we ate our starter. Seems like a good spot. Friendly staff. Drinks promotions for pitchers and shorts and dash. 2 for €10 cocktails Monday to Thursday before 8pm bit only 1 shaker in the bar so expect a delay on service. Downside is no sports on TV. Gents taps in toilets either don't work unless held down or are too powerful and splash back, hand drier terrible and no bin if you use toilet paper to dry hands.

Went to the Wiley Fox last night before meeting friends. After not being out for nearly 3 years(new mam plus covid restrictions) I was excited to be out in town. I had to write a review about this bar, as the service was impeccable. Wonderful staff and great management. A really well run bar. Would highly recommend!!!
