It is very good place, excellent food. Delicious open steak sandwich.

This place is an absolute delight. The servers were so friendly and weren't bothersome at all like other places. They refilled our tea pot and all without issue and the food was out of this world. We had the smoked salmon for starters. I had the steak, my mother had the chicken pasta penne for main course. It was my 21st birthday, they added a little candle to my dessert and all. I highly recommend going here for a lovely night out.

We ordered starers & mains, we waited 20 minutes for our starters to arrive. Which was far too long considering it was garlic bread & bruschetta, found both to be very over priced for what was received. We ordered the salmon noddles & chicken pillard toastie, both were nice. But disappointed with the long wait & the quality of the starters.

A great reliable place for food, cosy nice decor, helpful staff and reasonable prices. There’s a good selection on menu and portion sizes are generally good(on tapas sharing menu the portions were a bit varied and you would need to order extra than the 2 person option really to share). Family friendly with plenty good kids menu options aswell.

Mmmm Bloody Mary ( a rarity in Dundalk) and prawn cocktail salad. Love the place, very atmospheric, great for long deep conversation with friends and family where you can take the time to sip on your favorite cocktail with delicious food, take as time as you would like to do that and completely chill out.

Excellent food in this pub. We were there for lunch and the number of people there told the story. That many people cannot be wrong. Food more than lived up to expectation. Really good. Brilliant service too despite the numbers. I would be very happy if this pub was my local. Unfortunately, we were only visiting.

Just yum! My other half had a huge cajun chicken burger and chunky fries.... he loved it, huge portion with a lovely refreshing salad. Not greasy or heavy in any way. The pepper relish was a welcomed counterpoint. I had a really rich, sumptious, garlicky mushroom brushetta and sweet potato fries.....just absolutely gorgeous, new favourite dish! Just fab!

Mc Geough's is located right in the heart of Dundalk town centre, directly across from St. Patricks church. There is a reasonable sized pay as you stay carpark across from the bar, and paid street parking all around. The bar was originally called The Condil, and was one of the longest established bars in the town. The Condil had very little investment over the years, so when it was taken over by new management, it was given a complete make-over. Today it is a very open and welcoming bar, serving good quality food. There are lunch specials, and the food is generally very good value. It's a good place for meeting in a small or large group. I have eaten and drank here on a number of occasions, and have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful on every occasion. It's definitely worth a visit for a pint or a bite to eat, when visiting Dundalk.

Food was good and the service too. Staff are pleasant and helpful. We arrived early for our 8.30pm booking and had to wait for about 10 mins for a table. The restaurant was full and busy. It has a modern, well decorated interior. Worth visiting.
