FUN. LIVE MUSIC. We decided to try this place on a whim based on their menu... Also, there was a guy on a street corner advertising. Glad we did! The Cottage Pie was incredible. We also had their Dirty Fries with con carne... Excellent. The Service was good, and we feel lucky because there was a duo playing Irish folk tunes; traditional Irish songs. They were very good! Highly recommend.

Really cool space. Huge but still cozy. The lamb stew was solid. But the dessert omg! I had the bonoffi pie and I almost died of happiness. My husband had the bailey's and toblerone cheesecake which also was delicious

Enjoyable pub, little more on the touristy side but they are brilliant hosts, chatty at the bar and quick friendly service. They'll recommend you ales, be attentive and consistently be available even for a little chat. You're also able to create a tab so it makes for a much easier experience. The food here is also good! I highly recommend the Irish stew here but also the cottage pie with chips is very good and comes in a 'cauldron' which keeps it nice and hot even if you take a while to eat. The live bands create a really lively atmosphere & we even bought some CD's of one duo in particular which we really loved in turn giving us a handy souvenir! Really recommend it here!

It was fine for a quick light lunch. I'd had more flavorful paninis elsewhere during our travels, but this was fine. The chips were good and I appreciated the small side salad. The interior of the place is quite nice, with a lot of woodwork and plenty of seating. We took a shot and asked if they had lemonade. The waiter brought us 7-Up. Lemonades not all that common in restaurants, but we would've preferred he just said they didn't have any -- but A for effort! We were served quickly and the waiter was pleasant. We were on our way in no time, back on the road.

Short review - right to the point. Didn't have food, but had drinks. Prices on par with other places in the area. Service was great and the pub wasn't overly crowded like some can be. Live traditional Irish music - very entertaining and fun! And they encourage song requests. Sorry I can't provide more, but that's all we did; imbibe and enjoy the tunes. In fact, come to think of it, I did a LOT of that in Ireland!

We went to this bar for some authentic Irish food and music and it delivered on both fronts. The musicians played some lively tunes for a crowd that got more into it as the night went on, and the food itself was great. My only point for this restaurant is that it was a bit confusing on who was serving us. We had to flag people down whenever we wanted something as opposed to anyone ever coming by.

Food is pretty good. Service is just ok. From the moment I arrived until I left I always had to ask someone for service. Was standing on the entrance for a few minutes and no one came, so I asked a waitress and she got me a table. Then I had to ask someone else for the menu. Then someone else to get my order (reached out to three different people for this one). Then the bill and finally the card machine. I just felt invisible and that I had to be too interested to be there. Just didn’t leave because it was raining and I was in a hurry and to find another place could take even longer. Place was not full by the way. Sunday night around 7pm. I do have to say that everyone was really nice once I got their attention, so it’s not an issue of bad service, just bad organization.

The Danny Mann is very central and there is always a busy buzz about the place. The food is good and reasonably priced and the staff is attentive and friendly. Equally is a good place to meet up with friends to watch sport on the many TV screens or play pool in its relaxed atmosphere. Being part of the Eviston Hotel it has that busy feel about it. Very enjoyable place

A really nice friendly venue with great bar food, we ate there twice on our recent trip to killarney, it can get very busy in the evening 🌃 but we just walked in off the street and were served. The only thing I found strange was we asked for a high chair, the staff member said no problem but then it never came, and then we asked again but then they said they only have one chair, but they actually have two, the point being is for such a large venue which is ideal for family dinning, it really should have multiple high chairs. Maybe they don't want small kids, but the food is great and it's nice and central.

Have been staying at the Eviston Hotel Killarney. The Danny Mann bar is part of the hotel, it has Very lively Irish music every night (live) and a brilliant atmosphere. The beer and food are reasonably priced and is well worth a visit.

Myself and my wife always pop into the Danny Man when we are in Killarney. Food is always fantastic so that’s why we go back. We were there recently over Christmas and stopped in for a light lunch. I had the Potato Skins and the Brie Wedge and herself had the Nachos. Food was great and our bellies were full going out the door. Staff are welcoming, polite and friendly. I can never get over their huge selection of drinks from whiskey to Cocktails and my own favorite local Craft beer. Will be back next time we are in Killarney.

We called in on a very busy saturday evening and the pub was packed. We were greated very nicely by a bar man at the door who showed us to some available seats at the far end of the pub. We got some food and it was of the very best quaility i had the beef and guinness stew it is highly recommended.

My wife and I split the spicy chicken burger, warm goats cheese salad and onion rings. The chicken was tender and lightly seasoned thigh meat. It comes with a weakass Chipotle mayo/aioli on the side (by California spiciness standards). My wife put it on her burger but I actually liked it better as a dipping sauce. The burger bread was warm and buttery, although the bottom bun was a little soggy, perhaps from a wet plate? The goats cheese salad was a great idea, and the portion of cheese deserves two American thumbs up, but, I can't believe I'm saying this, it needed more salad leaves and I think just a touch more sweetness to balance the rich, saltiness of the cheese. The carmelized onions were I think the answer to this, but I just didn't taste it for sheer amount of goat cheese. The rings were crunchy and buttery inside. Reasonable dinner prices for Killarney. Menu could have used more Veg options. Live music was a plus and the environment was cozy, though where we were sitting was a little drafty, which felt like the right decision because of the inexplicably warm weather they were having, but then went Ireland on us. Our own faults. If we're ever back in Killarney again, we'd go back to Danny Mann.

I went here at the weekend for the kerry cork match... I was very impressed with the staff they worked so hard and did an amazing job on keeping the massive crowds served and happy... I was served by Damien under immense pressure he still had a smile and had time for a joke and made myself and my sister feel very welcome and at home... I would highly recommend this place for a bite to eat and a drink... I will return regular myself.
