Nice old style pub in Killarney. Seems quite small on entering, but plenty more room out the back with spacious couches. There is a seated outdoor area also, equipped with heaters. The Guinness here was excellent and the family/staff behind the bar were lovely. Would highly recommend a visit.

(Translated) Jack C's Bar is a great little pub in the middle of Killarney's main tourist street. When my wife and I entered, we were immediately welcomed. We were there twice. Only twice because we realized it was too late. It is no problem to get into conversation with the hosts and the other guests. To loosen up the landlord showed his little dog Ginny (or Jeannie?) - with some tricks. He gave us some treats that we should give the dog little by little. The atmosphere was very pleasant and familiar, even if the conversation with some of the old pub guests was a little more difficult due to our lack of Irish knowledge of English. My Guinness and my wife's Smithwicks Red Ale were well drawn and cheap by Irish standards. The next time we come to Killarney, this public house will be our hangout. July 2019. (Original) Jack C's Bar ist eine klasse kleine Kneipe mitten auf der touristischen Hauptstraße Killarneys. Als meine Frau und ich eintraten, fanden wir uns sofort Willkommen geheißen. Zwei Mal waren wir dort. Nur zwei Mal, weil es uns zu spät aufgefallen ist. Es ist kein Problem, mit den Wirtsleuten und den anderen Gästen ins Gespräch zu kommen. Zur Auflockerung führte der Wirt seine kleine Hündin Ginny (oder Jeannie?) - vor mit einigen Kunststückchen. Dabei gab er uns einige Leckerlis, die wir dem Hund peu à peu geben sollten. Die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm und familiär, auch wenn die Konversation mit einigen alten Kneipengästen aufgrund unserer mangelnden irischen Englisch-Kenntnisse etwas schwerer fiel. Mein Guinness und das Smithwicks Red Ale meiner Frau waren gut gezapft und für irische Verhältnisse günstig. Wenn wir das nächste Mal nach Killarney kommen, wird dieses Public House unsere Stammkneipe. Juli 2019.
