A local recommended we stop by since they had live music, we arrived around 10:45 and a traditional Irish band was playing. There were plenty of seats and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Later in the evening there was another live band that was awesome! They were right out of the 90s and played well known hits. Super fun and glad we stopped by!

This is one of my favorite night life spots in Ireland. Been visiting for the 10 years I’ve been in Ireland. Trad music sessions every night early then a live band. Well worth catching J90 on a Monday night. Then the nightclub is open out the back so a bit of something for everyone.

We visited this hotel bar on a Thursday night and enjoyed live Irish music up to 11pm and a completely underated rock band from 11-1:30. I can only speak to the front bar which is free to enter before 11pm, but they have a night club from 11pm on that they charge a cover, so be sure to get here before that

This was a lovely hotel. Everything looked fresh and new but it was decorated with a very authentic vintage feel. The staff put a rose petal heart on our bed since it was our honeymoon which was a super cute thing to do. Of the 5 hotels I stayed in while in Ireland this had by FAR the most comfortable beds and felt the cleanest. It was the ONLY hotel that I DIDN'T have asthma attacks in. Also had the best breakfast with eggs cooked to order.

Probably not a traditional Irish pub, being where it is it was 60% full of tourists from all over the world, but we had a great night. Awesome music that night from 'The Kilkennys' and good beer. Crowded (we had to elbow our way in passed people dancing in the front), but we found a spot near the back by the small stage and passed an enjoyable few hours. Suprising for so late in a Sunday night.

100% our favorite stop for drinks and live music in all of Ireland! It was recommended to us by our B&B host, and the recommendation was spot on! The music was lively and traditional, the other people in the pub were about 50% local and SO welcoming and friendly. Want a place where locals sing along and dance to the music? This is it. Really nice pub. Love the music, traditional and not. They serve a wide variety of brews - very traditional here. The food offerings are a bit limited but that isn't what you went there for. The bartenders are welcoming and friendly. You are made to feel like a regular straight away. We try to stop here whenever we visit Killarney. Give this a try.

This place does it all. Stayed two nights in Killarney and went to the Grand both nights. They have a good pint and tons of music. We heard traditional Irish music earlier in the night and at around 11:15pm a band came on that was awesome. We almost left before they came on because we were tired and ended up staying for a few more drinks because it was so fun.

The Killarney Grand is a must if you're in the vicinity. The craic is fantastic! There are three rooms. The front room features traditional Irish music beginning at 9pm. The middle room has a fabulous live band and the back room has another live band and a disco. There is something for everyone! If you're looking for good Irish craic, this is the place to come! It is packed with tourists but the music and the craic is fantastic.

Great public bar which is always busy, and has live music each night. Typically live Irish music being played on the front bar until around 22:30, this is then followed by a live band until the early hours and there’s a separate nightclub which opens around 23:30.... there’s always a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and a great place to visit if you are visiting Killarney

This place is a 3 in 1 spectacular venue! Starting off the night enjoy some diddly eye Irish music, then rock out from 11 onwards with only the best rock bands in Killarney, then limp drunkenly into the night club to finish your night all in the one venue. What a blast!

Great place! We went here based on the recommendation of our AirB&B Host. It has a great atmosphere with a local vibe. The drinks were good and the bartenders honest. While we were there they had live traditional irish music which was followed by a local rock cover band. Do yourself a favor when in town and swing in for a pint and some music.

We didn't stay here just came for the pub and great music. We were refered by a local who played in the band the night we came. It was well worth it and a lot of fun. From 9:30-11 they have traditional irish music and then from 11;30-2 they have irish rock. This is really just "pop/american radio music" with a twist. It is good and worth a visit..

Enjoyed my first real Irish Guinness beer at this pub, and I have to say the local vibe made it all the more memorable. My friends and I spent the entire night here, it was a very safe lively place with a night club area within the building. The craic was really 90! (If you don't know what this means you need to go to this pub and find out for yourself!)

A group of people and I spent the night in Killarney to start the Ring of Kerry the next day. At the recommendation of our guide, at night we went to Killarney Grand. The place is huge, full of environments. At the entrance there was a kind of room where local musicians played Irish songs. In the second room there was a large bar and circulation area/tables. In the third room, it was a more isolated part where there was a party after 11pm. There's another huge bar, dance floor and a stage. Without a doubt it was a fun night. The band that was performing (Clockworks) was amazing. On the second floor there is a hotel. Until 23:00 entry is free. If you are in Killarney, it is well worth a visit. Enjoy!
