Its perfect place for sleep the car park is very quite, me and my friend had such a great night in the car, we brushed our teeth in the car with complete privacy, if u are looking for a quite place to stay over night i would really recommend this car park .

Nice pub with great music. Used to be nicer here years ago when you'd regularly hear the Irish language. Now, it's losing its essence. Wednesday is Ceili night. Great craic to go to.

Wonderful food, friends and of course great music. Our kids li es it as well and stayed for three hours enthralled by the local music. This is an iconic pub and restaurant which brings musicians and fans from all over the world. Fans of Clannad, Enya and Moya will not be disappointed. Very nice staff so 3 stars should be 2 star one to avoid for food we were a big group so sampled a lot none of which was good didn’t hear any live music when we visited. Food with no effort put in.

Fantastic pub that is home to Clannad and Enya. Lots of memorabilia to see on the walls. Music every night except Mondays. The only disappointment was not seeing any of Clannad themselves but you can't have everything.

I loved this place. The Irish coffee is highly recommended. The connection with the musical tradition of the place was wonderful and being able to see one of Enya's platinum albums was exciting. The staff was super friendly to us in every way. I would repeat without hesitation

I could not fault this place. It's truly an authentic Irish bar. Its been a long time since I walked Into a bar and every table was reserved infact its only ever happened once in my lifetime. I asked was there any tables left, and the staff member politely said we could put you here to 7 pm. We were there at 4. It gives my partner and I along with our son plenty of time to enjoy food. Which was amazing. The goats cheese starter was a powerful start alongside the mussels. The burger is worth shouting about, and the steak sandwich was pretty decent as well. My little boy was well catered for, and the server we had was brilliant. She was very attentive, smiled, and nothing bothered her at all. Cheers, Leo's Tavern 🍺

My best friend and I just did a bucket-list trip to Ireland. He's a big Enya fan, so he was excited to visit sights around Donegal associated with her and her music, including Leo's Tavern, opened by her father, and now owned by one of her brothers. The whole Donegal area is beautiful, and Leo's Tavern was a great, traditional Irish pub with a great atmosphere. They have some great local beers - I had a delicious red ale from Errigal Brewing Company. We also had their Mussels appetizer and Fish & Chips for dinner. Both very good. The walls of the restaurant display a lot of mementos and awards from both Enya's career and her family's group, Clannad. If you're in the Donegal area, I recommend making a stop at Leo's.

Unbelievable, delicious, piping hot food, some of the best music I have ever heard, and about the best experience I have ever had in Ireland. The owner opened us with open arms, and let us do a performance on the instruments present. The surroundings are breathtaking, and it hit the spot just right after a 2 hour walk. We had an absolutely lovely time at Leo’s Tavern near Gweedore. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, especially as we enjoyed a perfect pint of Guinness by the fire. The cozy setting made for a great start to the evening. We followed that up with a delicious sit-down dinner, starting with the cocktail prawns, which were fresh and flavorful. For mains, we had the steak sandwich and fish and chips—both were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. To top it all off, the Irish coffee was a wonderful treat on the side. The service was excellent throughout the night—friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend Leo’s Tavern to anyone visiting the area. Probably the best restaurant around Gweedore!

Such a lovely pub,made to feel so welcome, the girl that served us was called Aoibh,such a lovely person, so friendly and helpful, we took our dog teddy with us,he was given water and made very welcome. Visited Leo’s tavern yesterday Wednesday July 10th with a group of 30 people, from the first phone call to the arrival on the day Pauline & Bartley were so helpful. What a welcome, beautiful bar & atmosphere, service was first class could not fault a thing, there’s a great range to choose from on the menu & the food was fabulous. 👏👏 Hughie Boyle entertained us with some lovely singing & a few stories, Thank you so much to Bartley, Shaun Rodger’s, Pauline & all staff. Really enjoyed our trip to Leo’s & will be back. Keep up the good work.

My friend and i stopped for a snack here on Saturday afternoon They had a birthday party and music definitely craic agus ceol .i happened to say to gentleman taking our order it was a coincidence it was my bithday aswell .i didn't expect what was to come ! The pub looks good and has live music. Feels like it should be a good place to visit however my food was very disappointing. I ordered fish and chips. When it arrived (very quickly), the fish was is two small pieces and looked more like it had come from a freezer pack with heavy batter. The haddock was very tough and chewy. It was hard to cut the second piece of fish, even after I’d prised off the batter so I didn’t finish it. I complained to the staff who were very friendly and took it off my bill. However, I asked them to mention to the chef that fish like that really shouldn’t have left the kitchen in the first place. Disappointing. On the plus side, my wife’s prawns in lemongrass was really nice. Sorry for the one star, but I can only review my own experience!

First visit: 23 years ago. Since then every visit worth. Never cheap, sometimes less friendly (depends of the cast member - guess there are more with no fun to work than smiling ones) . But everytime time very good food, yes, brilliant atmosphere. Many tourists, but also many locals. In the last year the first visit with a strange ending. They stopped serving us. Maybe cause we started drinking less after we had already a big amount of food and drinks. Nevermind, today back here for ceili and food. A bit shocked. Very, very small portions, extra dry fish (I guess from the freezer) and a burger grilled 20 minutes or more. And the best: the bruscetta with "sunny dried tometoes" came with beetroot instead of any tomatoe. For that the great (again) atmosphere and our very friendly cast members (one of them) couldn't make it a good visit. After this second non-great experience in a row we will have a break for some years.

An amazing iconic pub of Ireland. Home of Moya Brennan, Enya and of course Clannad. The food is very good and I reccomend the stew in a Yorkshire bowl. There is always good music in the evening around 10pm. Kids are welcome. If you want to take a chance, find out when the bus tours come and you will see music and dancing. Great option for kids but it can be busy then. Enjoy the many music memorabilia on the walls including gold records. People from all over the world come here to visit. You may even see someone from Clannad enjoying dinner!

Tasty pub food, great room with lots of pictures, super nice service. Pub opens Monday - Friday at 4 p.m., the kitchen is open from 5 p.m. I don't know what the opening times are on weekends. There isn't live music every day, so if you're interested you should call and make a reservation.
