C. &. T.Shiloe & all the team at the Station House are first class . We had our wedding reception here in August 2021 . Shiloe , the wedding coordinator was very professional from start to finish. you made our day great memorable day. So thanks again. All of our guests were really impressed as well & said they would go back again . Even after a few weeks, they still talk about the wedding and the reception. The food in the wedding reception in Station House Hotel was really good, you really need to come to the hotel to taste the food they serve yourself. They really took good care and detail of everyone there .
P. M.Service was absolutely excellent! We stayed here in September and have recently booked again it was that good!. Rooms were perfect and customer service was second to none. Paul the Assistant manager and Claire were so helpful giving us recommendations on things to do in the local area. Felt as if we knew them years! Overall a great experience and cant wait for my stay again this month 👏👏

As with alot of hotels a bit of updating would be a good thing but overall very happy and will definitely return.
a. b.I stayed here recently with my husband on our first visit to Donegal and my only regret was that it was for only two nights! This is a great hotel I couldn’t find fault in any aspect of our stay. The breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked and the service was great despite all the problems now with COVID and it’s associated restrictions. We had lunch in the hotel while waiting to check in and the food was excellent. The bar area is good too and not like a typical hotel bar. I can’t wait to return and will definitely stay at the Station House.
K.Good all round except the arrangements for people arriving or queuing up is confusing. Food was good, except I do not like onions or mushrooms and I asked if I could have carrots and/or peas, I was told NO?
In most other hotels or restaurants its not a problem but I thought because I was staying in the Hotel there may have been a concession.
I won't be eating there again. Had the bistro across in the shopping area been open I would have taken a chance. So much for 'customer service' so no, won't eat here again!
M. M.Really love this hotel . Always stay here when I'm in letterkenny. The staff are really helpful and friendly Just want to thank the two young men on reception who went out of their way to help us get our car started .I wouldn't stay any were else. I would rate it with five stars

C.Would highly recommend this hotel to everyone it is friendly, homely and very welcoming it was well laid out for social distancing it was spotless sanitizer everywhere floors being mopped tablets and chairs wiped frequently cleaners, waiters, waitresses receptionist were so friendly they made you feel as if they knew you personally and could not do enough for us it was one of our friends birthday and they had left chocolate strawberries and shortbread in room for her on arrival. To top it off the food was excellent and lot of it

Staying at Hotel 1st December 2019 . Firstly I would like to say that we chose your hotel on a recommendation from a friend and I can truly say that it was a good choice. From the minute that we arrived until we left we were made very welcome by all staff that we came across.
The food was first class and service very good. The bar staff very friendly and able to laugh with us
I can say that we will be staying at your hotel again and will be recommending it to friends and family.

M. v. d. D.The rooms are rather spacious and offer any amenities you might wish. The staff seems rather busy but really does their best. We didn't sample the dinner menu at this hotel but its hot breakfast is best not spoken about. The ample amounts of grease that come free with the frankly limited offering make sure one thinks back to the experience hours hence. Still, we slept well and there was no fuss and that is all that is necessary.
N. O.We stayed here for a night before adopting some cats from the ISPCA. The staff are great, the room was spotless and there was a fantastic deal on in the bar for food and wine. I've been to far more expensive and supposedly exclusive hotels that could learn a lot from this hotel.

l. B.Just back from our stay in station house hotel. This was our 2nd time to stay in this hotel. Each time we stayed was for 1 week. We travelled with 2 adults and 3 children. Absolutely fantastic. The staff in the hotel were so friendly and welcoming. nothing was an issue. It was very clean, rooms are lovely and the food was fantastic. We will be back to stay again for a week next summer.

L. C.I stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms where a great size and they have good parking. The rooms where so clean, had tea and coffee and the quality of the bed and bedding was great, so comfortable. I eat in the bar 2 nights and the food was very good, breakfast was also good.
The only let down was the noise from the heating/aircon in the rooms at the front of the hotel. The vibration and buzz once it was on was quite annoying even made the bathroom door vibrate if it wasnt fully closed. You could hear it turn on about 7am and turn off between 9-10pm. I had to change room but I was only moved down a floor, it was an improvement but still vibrated the bathroom door. I did leave my feed back and show the receptionist a video of the noise on the morning I checked out. I wonder if I'd been moved to the back of the hotel would I have had a better experience.
But the staff where very friendly and the room where really nice and it's a busy spot too. I wouldn't have any hesitation on staying again if it wasnt for the noise, the rest of the stay was great.
A. L.We arrived home today having enjoyed a two night stay at this hotel. It was excellent from beginning to end. The rooms were extremely clean with very helpful and friendly housekeeping staff. In fact we found every member of staff to be polite and helpful.
The breakfast was very enjoyable and we truly enjoyed a fabulous 3 course evening meal. The food couldnt have been better.
We will definitely be back.

A. N.I'm fairly sure the hotel has been seriously upgraded since we stayed here last. They still dont stint on the food or service. Both still superb. The rooms now have new showers which are not quite powerful enough to blast you awake, but do make you feel squeaky clean! Lovely place would happily stay again.
K. S.Had a lovely few days at this hotel. The room was good size and had everything you need. The breakfast was very good and the steak dinner deal on the Wednesday night was exceptional 2 steaks with all the trimmings for £25. We booked two days before going and had a room at the front which was a bit noisy early in the morning but with late booking cant complain. I would advise to ask for a room at the back.

The only thing I didn't really like was the wet room style shower which was a bit messy but other than that it was excellent and we would definitely go back.

One of the gorls even gave the group a guided tour of Letterkenny on our last day which was very interesting. I highly recommend this hotel.
K. B.Food was very good. Service was not professional. Attended a private function. Food was very good. Staff appeared very young. Wine was served by waiter. Only red wine was offered at my table, while red and white was offered at all the other tables. Everything about the service was "hurried". There was a bar in the function room but there was no barman there most of the time. People resorted to going out to the main public bar for their drinks. The staff appeared young and inexperienced.

Originally we had only booked for a one night stay - we we’re so impressed with the level of service received we ended up staying a second night!! the rooms are immaculate, the staff are all extremely helpful and professional & Last the food is amazing proper fresh food well presented and large portions, also the breakfast is lovely for only 10€! F. o.Stayed and ate there last Sunday night, accommodation was nice and clean. Pints of Guinness were perfect. Food was very good. The one thing that really stood out was, that the food servers were Irish which I think is great. The reason I like this is because they're always good for a bit of banter especially in Donegal. Not to say there is anything wrong with non Irish but sometimes, some can make it feel a bit of a chore to try and order and can be very impersonal, although some people prefer it that way. Before I'm shot down, I just want to clarify I'm not racist. Like Father ted, its easy to be taken up wrong sometimes. Thanks

C. L.The location is excellent with everything you would need within walking distance. Dunnes is next door, shops, bars, restuarants, kids soft play and cinema are minutes away.
The hotel itself is clean and birght.The room was clean with nice wooden floor. Washroom(no bath) is a wet room so kids loved running in and out of the shower. We stayed in family room which was larger than normal rooms however second bed was pull out sofa bed, which for an adult was not comfortable, but no complaints for the kids.
Breakfast was standard cooked breakfast options and cereal/ bread options. Only issue was having to wait/asking at times for items to be replenished.
We had dinner the the hotel (The Depot) and unfortunately hada poor experince as food quaility was poor so didnt eat there again.
Car parking can be an issue as hotel carpark only has approx 40 spaces and free for anyome to use (not limited to guests). However Dunnes is right next door ajd you can use that carpark as an overflow. The gates get closed at 6pm but the hotel has a key for the gates to open and close.
Overall the hotel is nice and great location, staff were friendly and very helpful and we would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Would recommend anyone to stay here everything was top notch , The Staff were so friendly and treated everyone so well , more than willing to help or advise their guests in any way they could we simply could not praise them enough they were outstanding! (Thankyou Everyone). The Craic was great the food was scrumptious and Our room 202 was Immaclate and also well equipped for someone with a Disability ( I suffer from Rheumatoid arthritis). The Welcoming atmosphere of the Hotel Staff seemed contagious, Everyone we met seemed very Happy to be there, we certainly were and will happily stay again sometime.

B. M.My husband and I recently spent five nights here on a Newmarket Holiday. We were delighted with everything; large, clean and comfy bedroom. Especially appreciated the cosy red sofa on which we relaxed to read the paper and play cards of an evening and lpvely to have tea and coffee making int he room too. Lack of wardrobe - just hangers on a rail - was no problem at all for us but some guests might find it a drawback. The wetroom was spacious and the shower easy to use. As for the food - delicious and plenty of choice and nothing too much trouble for the staff.
While staying, we picked up a Heritage Trail from the Library and so enjoyed exploring the town and finding out its history. Don't miss the museum either - free to enter, small but full of interesting exhibits.
