D. C.Smashing spot, spotlessly clean, food was fabulous, beer was cold. The only issue I would have was that the food was served a little but warmer, that would go for both the evening meal and the breakfast. Maybe a little critical, but thats me. For what we paid via living social it was a free 2 nights away to just totally relax and chill, I'd definitely go back, and would highly recommend. The staff and the service was on the money, very attentive and very friendly, well done, and thanks fo everything..

I have mobility difficulties and the hotel is perfect - all on the flat and we were given a room really close to reception.
Rooms have everything you need (here’s to USB plug sockets!) and are immaculately clean. The bed was really comfortable- on the firm side, which pleased me.
The bar is great and a lovely place to unwind as well as to eat. The food was nice - really enjoyed the freshness of the seafood!
Staff were very friendly and happy to help with everything we needed.

R. G.Staff were very accommodating and helpful, from the lady on the front desk to the waiters in the restaurant. In all honestly, the price made me think it would be a little ropey but I was mistaken, lovely little hotel with great facilities for the price, I would stay again. They even had a gent on hand with a jump pack for the car when my battery had died. Great stay, Cheers guys!!

Breakfast was terrible on 1st morning. 2nd morning I had just gotten some cereal to bring up to the room instead and it was out of date. We went and paid for breakfast somewhere else even though we had paid for breakfast in hotel. I would recommend if you just want room only.

Chicken curry was tasty too with lots of chicken. Unfortunately the church restaurant wasnt open due to covid restrictions, it would have been nice to see.

M. S.Food was top class, we stopped one evening while on holiday over there, myself the wife and our 3 boys everyone of us licked our plates. And it was very well priced also we ate in the bar which was spotless clean and very relaxing. The toilets were also very very clean. Bar and waiting staff very welcoming and helpful.
G. C.Dropped into the front bar here for a quick bite around 7pm to break a long journey. First off the menu had great range and good value specials. Service was top class and amazingly fast! I went for the BBQ & chili beef casserole for €9.95 sat back in trepidation! What I was served far excels what I would have been given in the vast majority of Irish hotels. The beef - and plenty of it - was lean, tasty and tender. Fantastic coffee too! This is one of the most pleasant surprises I've had in an Irish hotel. Others take note of the An Grianan set-up, this is how it's done!
M. J.Place inside and staff are lovely.Same with rooms, they are nice and confy,recommend everyone, but only reason I don't giving 5 stars is coz of LOCATION.You even can't walk on the side of the road, coz there is no footpath and there is lovely places and nature to see.

J. T.Spent an overnight at An Grianan and my wife and I had a great time. The hotel is beautiful, the room was perfect, clean and warm and as for the staff, well I don't think I have met nicer, friendlier folk at any hotel. We also enjoyed looking around the old church and the fantastic interactive exhibition.
We had a lovely dinner and breakfast and as I am coeliac the staff were extremely helpful in getting me gluten free alternatives.
Overall a great experience that we will repeat again. Well done to all the staff and management of the An Grianan.

The hotel is beautiful and the food could not be faulted at all..absolutely gorgeous! The staff went above and beyond with their service on the day and a massive mention to Deirdre who was so lovely, helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much to ask of her and her years of experience and knowledge showed as she was able to offer advice leading up to the wedding and everything was smooth sailing on the day. Rooms are spacious and so the bathroom.
Very comfortable beds. There are few attractions in the hotel grounds, like information units about local area, however as of July 2019 all of thess were broken.
Restaurant is specious and can accommodate good number of patrons. Breakfast is consisted from self service bar and Alacarte menu. I highly recommend lightly grilled keepers fish. Is simple and fresh.
If you planning on BYOB to hotel room then becareful, as no drink from outside is allowed and when cought a €100 fine is imposed.
Overall, totally great place to stay, that is located close to beaches , 10mins drive, or Derry City is less than 10mins away. You won't regret a stay is simply great hotel.
C. L.We were at a very large wedding at this hotel. Lovely friendly staff lovely food. The bedroom was a lovely modern room with a really comfortable bed. Breakfast was really nice served in the restaurant which is in an old church.
J. F.The location isn't great and there's no gym and you need to ask reception to adjust the heat in the room. But the beds are really good, the bath was massive. The restaurant was also excellent , particularly for breakfast.
If you ever want to have a fully cooked breakfast in a 17th century chapel, I recommend it

Started with soup and then choice of at east 5 or 6 different dishes in the starter, main lunch and dessert. Definatley would recommend this for Sunday Dinner and very reasonably priced.
