My mom, sister and I ate here for our Sunday dinner. We all ordered the beef and I have to say it was absolutely delicious. My mom wanted to know how they get the beef so tender!! The desert afterwards was also really amazing. Without a doubt it’s my favorite spot for food - 5 stars and more if it were possible!

Been in for food a few times now and each time staff have been welcoming and polite from moment walking in the door. Pints are always good. Menu should suit most people, plenty of options. Food is always good and service is quick. Plenty of space in the outdoor marquee and also with indoors now allowed. They have went all out to provide outdoor dining in a comfortable setting.

Went to this cosy bar for our first outing since the pandemic. First of all the staff was amazing ,everything well cleaned and kept nice and great customer service . We had pear and chorizo salad to start which was Devine (just maybe a little less salad leaf and perfect in my opinion). We had the spicy wings also to start they were well seasoned and very fresh top marks. Next we had the Asian noodle salad which was also Devine flavour combination overall superb on that dish . For mains we had the 24hrs slow cooked ribs with barbecue sauce , they were fall off the bone so also top marks. Very impressed with the quality of food overall in general with Collins bar as it was also a first visit and we will be back again for sure . Stay safe and thanks for the hospitality guys .

Staff friendly.. Surroundings comfortable.. Unfortunately I had the roast of the day... Bacon and cabbage... I don't at this stage of my life a huge appetite... But the portion of bacon I got made sure it stayed that way.... Didn't like to make a fuss as I was being treated to lunch.... Have eaten a fair bit there over the years and and this is the first time I've had such a negative experience...

Extremely fast service. Champ behind counter knows what he sells and can match offer to your expectations. I got my sandwich in 4 mins or so. Tasty, gentle meat, well composed. Perfect for quick pop in for lunch. Highly recommended.

Fantastic bar. Fantastic food also and to be fair the staff where nice, until myself and my work colleague asked to spill it a bill to which we where told its policy not to do so. Then told it was a covid policy, but in fairness at that point I noticed none of the staff where wearing face masks or shields while serving customers. Overall it put a downer on the whole dining experience.

We loved this place. The men said the Guinness was amazing. Food was quickly prepared and delicious. Our table enjoyed the roast pork with stuffing, roast beef, and salmon. Veges and mash were nice sides. Had a delicious dessert toffee pudding. Service was friendly and attentive.

Food was lovely however I was unaware or didn't receive any guidance on the exit door and the guy at the entry door was very abrupt when I was exiting through the incorrect way. It would have been an idea if he could have advised me of the exit door, then there wouldn't have been any issue.

I was very pleasantly surprised as I live nearby and never bothered going in before. I had the bbq wings and French fries and they were just delicious. I'd go back for more if I wasn't so stuffed. And they weren't just the usual sickly sweet wings either, there was a delicious smokey flavour and the perfect level of acidity too. Yum! My dad thought his chunky chips were reheated and I could see they weren't as nice looking as my fries, so his disappointment is what made me drop the point but, don't let that hold you back from trying the place for yourself. We had a very friendly server too. Will definitely go back.

I live down the road from this bar and it's food is amazing and the staff are soo friendly I would always go there on an occasion to watch rugby or for a nice family dinner. A nice neighbourhood pub on the outskirts of Limerick city which is fine for an ordinary night out. A good venue to watch live sports on TV We returned to Collins last Friday and ordered two meals from their “Foodtruck “ menu which were good value for money. 1 star deducted for cold tacos with the Taco Tinga meal which could have done with sour cream or some other topping as the contents were very dry. When asked there was no issue getting some. The pulled pork ciabatta was delicious. Wine per glass was overpriced at €7 per glass. Staff were very friendly and efficient and genuinely nice.

I haven't been here since covid, the food was amazing, I wasn't expecting the taste explosion. Now I went for the a lá carte menu @ 3, I had a peach, almond & ham salad to start, to die for. Main was fish and chips, no surprises there. Desert was passion fruit & lemon pie with lemon sorbet. Looking forward to next time

Only chips available.. no rice even in any dish. So I changed my order I didn't want turkey and chips !! then got a chicken burger there was no curry or stir fry option dish on the menu. Chicken burger was just OK a bit tough. Overall quite disappointed.. ye really need to get more variety in yere menu and cater for those who don't want chips with everything
