Excellent venue. Excellent menu. Professional staff. Heather was out waitress and she ensured we had an excellent evening. We had bang bang chicken and chicken satay skewers for starters and the surf and turf and the hickory burger for mains and the sticky toffee pudding and tye trio of deserts and a bottle of Chianti. We have been to The Hamptons restaurant many times. We keep on returning because we are always greeted in a friendly manner by very efficient and friendly staff. One person in particular, Alex. He is extremely good at what he does and a credit to this business. Very knowledgeable and nothing is ever too much to accommodate. We recently found ourselves in Limerick and after googling a nice place to eat we found Hamptons grill and we were not disappointed. The ambiance ,staff and food were absolutely amazing. In fact we were so impressed that we went back the following night before we headed home. Everything we had was wonderful but a special mention for the seafood chowder and the steak was just delicious. If you find yourself in this area do yourself a favour and try this magnificent restuaraunt. We will definitely be back to visit this part of Ireland again just so that we get to experiance the food at this place again.

Have been here a couple of times and I’ve always enjoyed the food. I’ve never had any problems with the service. I loved the scampi (see photo) and the bang bang chicken is also divine! The dessert didn’t disappoint either - but the mousse was my least favourite. There is a good 3 course value menu as well! Would return!

Great night, great steak and great staff as is always the case in the Hamptons. I am taking away two stars because unfortunately once again we were not asked for a COVID cert or the necessary I.D. to go with it. On three occasions I have been there we were never asked for a covid cert. As I said above I really like this place but I will not dine there again while the law says you should have a covid cert with proof of I.D. and they do not ask. This is not a reflection on how really great the staff are, the great food and allround great atmosphere in the restaurant as I believe the management should be insisting on the practice being adheared to.

Tembo our waiter took great care, he is an excellent waiter and perhaps one of the best ive ever experienced. Once ordered the food came fast. The 3 course meal was 29.99, however the price was still 99 for 2 at the end of the day. So this is not the place for you if you wouldnt have the money to treat yourself and yours. Because the food was definantly a treat and plentiful. It was the biggest brownie on a plate ive seen in a restaurant. Since this was a bithday the personal came and sang a birhday song and we got our picture in a Hamptons frame. Extraodinary food: There was lobster 20 for half and 30 for a full and the dishes were dressed with rare leaves, but no eatible flowers or wild meat on the menu. The kitchen is open long after 10 and there is a sooking/ waiting area which is "inside/covered", which is ideal for those waiting for a lift home. The only minus is that there is a starcase into the restaurant and no elevator. This is definantly the place for special ocations.

Two of us went here on a Sunday night for the first time in a few years. I had been a few times previously and had sub standard meals but we said we would try it again for a change from our usual restaurants. I saw no reason to be rushing back here atmosphere was quite nice with comfy seating but the meal and service were nothing to get excited about. We ordered spring rolls and pate for starter and it was on our table in less then two minutes so they couldn't have been making the spring rolls to order. The mains were Steak and ribs. I had the ribs which were just far too sweet I like sweet food but I was feeling a little sick from how sweet they were. Desserts were next and at €7.50 a dessert I was expecting something amazing it was not. They were fine nothing special. I had two pints a Guinness and a Heineken both at 5.75 a pint which is on the expensive side. Guinness wasn't great which can be expected from a restaurant at times. Overall I can't think of any reason why I would come back here again when there are so many restaurants in a similar or cheaper price range that offer so much more value for money.

Really like visiting the Hamptons, a great menu food is really tasty with great choice. €32 for a 4 course meal it's hard to beat. Service is great and the restaraunt is really comfortable and welcoming. Bang Bang chicken is georgous as is the steak. The restaurant is Open for lunch and evening menu. Great Selection of wine, beer and soft drinks. The restaurant is down stairs but accessible by lift. I use the parking in the multi story across the street.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in town. An excellent menu with a good variety of options, and for a fair price, given the environment. Which is, I must say, very welcoming even during the pandemic. The tables are well spaced and clean. Lastly, the staff is super kind and helpful, willing to answer every question we might have and not putting pressure on us. If I had to recommend two dishes it would be the Braised Short Rib of Beef and the Bang Bang Chicken!

I want to give a huge thank you to the staff who went beyond their duties to make it special for my son as it was his birthday. What a place. First time eating in this restaurant. The occasion was a 70th birthday party. First of all, the staff are amazing people. To deal with such a large group, there was no issues. Took a trip to the Hamptons Grill for lunch with a party of four no reservation needed ,we were greeted by courteous and friendly member of staff who showed us to our seats where we settled in and relaxed, our orders were taken and in no time our freshly cooked meals arrived all at once the meals were cooked to perfection tasty fresh full of flavour fantastic choice .the price was very reasonable for the quality we received top marks to the chef's and support team .the table staff were courteous friendly and helpful all in all fantastic visit.the toilets were immaculate .there is wheel chair access via lift at the entrance assistance is available. It's a Worthwhile visit.

I went there for the first time there this evening by myself. I had the 10oz steak, 2/3rd bottle of red wine and the sticky toffee pudding. The staff were very friendly, the steak was very high quality, and the wine was also high quality. I couldn't recommend it more. The restaurant deserves all the positive reviews it gets on here.

Had a beautiful lunch here on Saturday. There were 4 adults and 4 children. The waitress was really helpful and attentive. She served the children about 4 bottles of orange and blackcurrent. The food was lovely, although the portion of lobster was a tad small for the price. Will go back again soon

On this occasion was an early bird light meal. I had Bang Bang chicken. As I was served within 5 mins it was obvious the food was already prepared from lunch and re-heated. It was alright but I would not order this again for me goo and bland. So here's my issue I once called for a reservation and was informed there is a 3 week waiting list. Sorry I don't get this. The resteraunt is okay not bad but is not a place I would wait 3 weeks for. Sorry on 3 stars

We both had a main course of Bang bang chicken, which was very tasty, . The only let down was the dessert, at €7.50 I expected better. Excellent lunch. Three courses for €20. I had potato and celeriac soup (delicious) and my wife had satay chicken skewers. Mains were hake fillet and bacon. Had a meal on Saturday night and would have to say it was very disappointing. They have taken one of their best dishes on the menu, the Katmando curry and replaced with a Green Curry which didn't taste of anything at all, except for when you put a lot of salt on it. The other disappointing thing was that once again we were rushed through our meal, having sat for our meal at 8.00, we were being asked to leave at 9.20. The only nice thing about our experience was our waiter, whose name I forgot to ask, who was very courteous and polite. Have to say I won't be going back again, very disappointing start to our night.

Myself, husband and eight year old son were down in Limerick for the night. A quick Google led us to try this restaurant and I can not praise it enough. A lovely classy setting and a good atmosphere. The food was amazing. My husband had the Bang Bang Chicken to start and I had the Chicken wings. Both were excellent and we had steak for mains. We drank a bottle of Le Comtesse Prosecco and my eight year old was delighted with his bottle of blackcurrant squash and his dinner. Our server Aine was lovely, friendly and efficient and we shall definitely return when next in limerick.
