M. P.Went here to escape the rain. Great pint as well as a good cup of tea. The outdoor area kept us dry and comfortable. The place felt very well organised in the current restrictions. We were served by one of the friendliest people you will ever meet and she seemed to be immediate best friends with every other costumer that came into place too. An outdoor screen allowed us to watch the Euros football too which was handy. The clientele seemed a good quality also. Something else we noted was a young couple, quite rightly, refused a table when they attempted to enter and then failed to purchase any ID when it was requested. Seems they run a tight ship here in all the right ways. Will be in again when in Limerick.

A. O.Four Dublin sisters had an absolute blast at the Glen Tavern last night. Staff were first class. Fantastic live music. Highly recommended.
K. K.We went here to hopefully find our Premier league team match on TV and enjoy a pint. We arrived early and asked if the match would be on and the bartender said they would gladly turn it on when it started. We enjoyed many pints, Irish coffee, and a starter from the menu. All were very good and the bartenders were responsive when we asked for anything. Would definitely go back.

N.Food was amazing. The shepard's pie was great and the lamb shank I've been told tasted fantastic as well. The staff was really friendly as well. Also this place has Con's Irish Cider which might be my favorite Irish cider, much better than Bulmers/Magners.

G.I dropped by the Glen for an early afternoon Beamish and Irish stew and I was not disappointed. Both were tasty and filling. I had a special request for Toby and he accommodated me going the extra mile to make me feel welcome - good service, good food, good time. This bar has a lot of character and was not too busy when we visited though i imagine it picks up later in the day. As others have written, don't let the construction dissuade you from visiting as you shall not be disappointed.

Great Beer ... White Gyspy craft beer is exceptional as always.... Their Red Ruby ale must be tried if you haven't had it. Well done to the staff, in these restricted Covid times.... well managed. Looking forward to more Glen visits in 2021.

F. C.This place is great. We stopped in one night and there was supposed to be music, but the musicians did not show, so it was fairly slow being an otherwise off night. The staff could not have been nicer to us and apologetic that there was no music, so we stayed for a couple drinks and talked with them. The atmosphere was terrific, the people wonderful and they even hailed us a cab when we were leaving. Highly recommended, and we will be back!

M. J. G.My husband and I picked this place because it was near our hotel and we wanted a pub atmosphere for dinner. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and liked the cozy neighborhood feel of the place. Jim had Cottage Pie and ate every bite. He said it was "almost as good" as my homemade Shepherd's Pie so that's high praise. (Smart man...) and I loved the Seafood Chowder I ordered with hearty soda bread. Warm, friendly service, great food and an authentic Irish pub atmosphere. Yes, we're tourists, but there were plenty of regulars eating and drinking there so it's definitely not just drawing tourists. Highly recommend it!!

At odd times people dance to the music but space in the lounge is limited and it can become noisey. Closing time can come around very fast and everything comes to a stop. Meals are served at midday.

The starter and main course I had were appealing to the eye without being over fussy or 'cheffy' for the sake of it. The board of 3 beers was something I had experienced in only one other establishment in far away London/Derry and is highly recommended
