Well priced, cozy and welcoming with a warm and comfortable atmosphere. When it comes to food I'm quite picky where I choose to eat and spend my money. Maggie May's is worth every penny. The food is great, the service is great and the staff are wonderful. If you're hungry. Stop here for a bite to eat. PS: I'm a local and have eaten here for man years both as large family functions and also solo. So trust me, you won't regret it!

Justin and his team are absolutely superb, we truly can't recommend Maggie May's enough. They catered our wedding in Cloughan Castle and we were nervous about a self catering venue and having to source a separate caterer but between the castle staff and Justin's catering it was just flawless. The food was excellent, the staff are complete pros, they just made the whole day.

Review is during Covid. They are not taking table bookings, only taking walk-ins which is not very helpful as you can't plan ahead and have to hope for the best upon arrival. Tables are extremely limited while outdoor dining is only allowed during Covid. You must actually eat across the road from the place.

Best steak I have ever eaten in my live. Started with wings, cooked to perfection, with a delicious blue cheese dip. Asked for the steak to be cooked medium, could not have been more accurate. Amazing steak topped with garlic butter and pepper sauce. Also best pint of Guinness this side of Mullingar.

Came here for a wedding party and had a terrific meal and dessert! Everyone loved their food. Some of the best pub grub I've ever had! And terrific, cheerful service! They even went and made a margarita for my wife and she said it was terrific! I would return in a heartbeat! They also have TV and that essential for any pub, darts!

GOOD EXPERIENCE! I've been meaning to come here for a long time. I'm happy I did. That doesn't mean my experience was fully blissful. I like the place and 'over-attentive' service. I savoured my goat's cheese starter to the last bite. My wife also loved her prawns. My wife had the specials of the day and it was fresh and tasty. I ordered a pesto vegetarian pasta and it wasn't good. It was overcooked, lacked pesto and had way to much peppers and onions. The Toblerone cheese cake was exquisitely good. So, all in all, a good experience!

First time going to Maggie May's today. I loved the brick and chunky wood decor. It had a real homely Irish bar feel. We ordered sandwiches 🥪 I forgot to ask for brown bread so I was a little sick after the white but it was very tasty and the soup was delicious. Proper homemade veg soup. The food we saw come out looked amazing so we will return for the dinner menu some day.

We had this restaurant provide food for our prewedding and wedding dinners. Everyone was overwhelmed with all the food, including the quality, portions, presentation, and taste. The entire staff Siobhann, Tommy, Angela and of course Justin were the absolute best! It made our wedding even more wonderful! We couldn't be happier to have this experience with Maggie Mays. Been here for 2nd time and it's still as good as first time.Absolutely top class service quick and so nice and cheery. Food was top notch. No long wait food was served promptly and food was delicious. Had the beef and by Jesus ud never get sick of beef cooked this well. Siobhan was the sweetest waitress! The food was amazing! We tried to come without reservations, and they were booked so we had to make reservations for the following day. Well worth the wait! We had a great dinner and enjoyed our dessert before heading out. Thanks for the amazing dinner!

Lovely cosy pub with handy secure parking across the road. I will say though there are a few flaws unfortunately. We weren't greeted when we walked in the door and it wasn't busy. The boy at the bar was wearing a casual hoody not very professional in my opinion and he just glanced at us - not even a hello or welcome. Anyway we sat down beside a lovely stove and the waitress was very nice. However we weren't ask would we like another drink and our glasses were empty for a long time. Lots of choice on the menu but to be honest I'd cut the menu in half if it meant that everything was as good as my dinner. However my husband was disappointed. He got the roast of the day and it was nothing shy of the pre portioned roast dinners you buy in from a supplier. After working in the food industry myself I know where shortcuts have been taken. Turkey portion was tiny. The stuffing was congealed together and the ham was like a piece of tough gammon steak. However my steak and my son's dinner was lovely. Very fresh good quality meat. If the chef is capable of cooking a great dishes then the roast should match the same standards in my opinion.

The food like at grandma's home. It was so delicious that we kept switching plates among ourselves to try everything. It was funny when we asked the waitress if she could mix us Heineken and Coke and she asked us several times if we were sure. Sure, a cola beer for roasting is something nice. It's worth stopping here and having a nice evening with your family.
