I HAVE EAT IN A NUMBER OF PLACES OVER THE YEARS BUT THIE LORD LUCAN IS IN THE TOP 5, GREAT FOOD AND THE PRICES VERY GOOD, GOOD SERVICES A RETURN TRIP IS ON THE CARDS. NOT TO FAR FROM THE N4 TAKE THE LUCAN EXIT TURN RIGHT AND 5 MIN DOWN THE ROAD.

We went here for a family meal when regulations were relaxed, we had booked a table for 6 in advance. We were shown to our table which was at least 2 metres from any other occupied table and told that we would have 90 minutes. The food was excellent, kids had huge half portions of roast beef and veg and adults had full portions of various other fare. Everything was excellent and well presented and very tasty. We all enjoyed a tasty meal in a well regulated safe environment.

Just had dinner for 4 there. Food was lovely, but asked for the desert menu from our waitress and 15 min later had to ask another waitress for it again. 1 hour later from original asking, waitress came back to ask if we were ok for everything ??. Terrible service. Original waitress was seen having her dinner at the bar, don't get me wrong sheishe entitled her her break, but at least have the decency to get someone to take over your tables and don't leave the sitting around like fools trying to get someone else's attention. 😠

I had lunch here one afternoon and thought it was lovely. Not only do they have plenty of choice, from salads and sandwiches to full plated dinners, it's all delicious. I ordered a lasagne, which came piping hot, with a huge side of fries and coleslaw. I would eat here again in a heartbeat.

Not my first time in here and certainly won't be my last .it's either a good thing or a bad thing when you walk in and see the bar man reach for a pint of what you would drink before you even ask..but either way it's a nice touch.. staff are friendly.. food is very good and drink is reasonably priced.. what more could you ask for...the place has recently got a make over (lounge only) and it certainly has livened the place up.. food has improved greatly and the new staff are great too

Awesome place for food...I had been here couple of times and the food serced here is so delicious.I am from India and I never had such a tasty Indian curry elsewhere in Dublin even in the so called Indian restaurants...The staffs here are also very polite and gives a warm experience.. Lovely pub, ample parking. Perfect for a casual meal. Staff very friendly and attentive. Place got quite busy around 8pm (Thursday) so I'd recommend getting there just before to guarantee a table. Menu was usual pub fare, with a few extras. My wife and I shared the Chilli Beef Nachos (Main) for a starter, which turned out to be the best Nachos I've ever tasted. I had the Daily Special (Cajun Burger) and my wife had the regular Beef Burger. Mine was perfect whilst her's was a tad dry. Will defo be back in the future, highly recommended. 4 and a half stars.

Wow. Our experience their tonight was incredible. On our first night in Ireland, the staff at The Lord Lucan made us feel so incredibly welcome and made the night so incredibly great that the bar is set incredibly high for our next ten days in Ireland.

The OUTSIDE seems nice lol. Because I parked near it Google Maps assumed that I was inside indulging myself. I wasn't. This kind of assumption is being made everywhere I park and is getting to be less and less fun. If Google Maps, which I use a lot, desperatly wants a review they might arrange a taxi to and from (N. B. Ireland's new blood alchol limits and penalties are now in force), and some funding, to permit me to sample a wide range of the pub's offerings. In fairness to the place I am giving it 4 stars, for its pleasant exterior and based on a glance through the window on passing, warm and cosy interior.

A good local pub. It is a good size inside and has plenty of seating. There are (at least) 2 tvs which had sports on when we visited. We got their nachos which were really lovely! A very tasty chilli over the top of nachos with jalapeños and cheese, accompanied by sour cream and puree avocado. They have daily specials too, so there will be variations on the menu. It was also a very good price! I cannot recommend the staff enough - we were visiting and asked about things to see and do - we were given plenty of different options and the barman was kind enough to write them down for us (as well as a couple of additional ideas) while we were seated without us asking. All of the staff were equally as friendly and eager to help. The toilets were very clean (and plentiful) even if they are a slightly strange shape! There is free wifi in the pub and it had a very good signal while we were there. If in the area I would recommend a stop - especially if you are hungry.
